Fanfic: Remember...
with his fist, before he followed Lefia and knocked on her door (it was more of a hammering).
After slamming the door behind her, Lefia had slipped down and was now crouching on the floor.
"Lefia open ..." Marik demanded, but Lefia pressed her hands over her ears and shook her head. No, she wouldn't answer ... why? She wasn't really afraid of him, but something was upsetting her ...Why did he call her Eftelia? How did he know this name and where did it come from?
Lefia thought she had heard this name once, but she no longer knew where from. She thought hard about it when suddenly a scene played in front of her eyes:
"Pharaoh, thank you for this audience ..." explained a young-looking woman and bowed deeply to a man who
sat in a huge golden throne and looked at the woman first with an incredulous, but then loving look.
"With Amun ... is it really you?" He asked and rose silently from the throne to take a few steps towards the woman who was still kneeling on the floor.
"Eftelia ...." the old man whispered and the woman lifted her head for the first time.
Lefia caught her breath when she saw the woman's face. In this daydream, she was not part of it as usual, no, she was an outside person who only followed what had happened, but was not part of it.The woman she saw in front of her, like the people in her other dreams, wore these strange clothes. But Lefia couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the face of this woman ... which was cut out of her face.
Her eyes were the same color and her features were exactly like Lefia's.
[i]"Greetings father ...",she said with a smile, but then the dream was over and Lefia opened her eyes.
What was that again? The woman looked just like her and her name was Eftelia ... that's what Marik called her, too, right? But why ... who was this Eftelia?
She had called the old man Pharaoh ... but ... that would mean that it must have been in ancient Egypt ... and that the woman was already ... no longer alive, that at least the age of the pharaohs 5000 years ago, she wasn't so sure ... She hated history!
The questions in Lefia's mind piled up, but she couldn't find an answer. The sudden silence made her open her eyes again and she listened. The hammering on her door had stopped and she hadn't heard Marik calling anymore.
She sincerely hoped he'd given up and returned to his apartment. The black-haired woman sat up carefully and peered out of the peephole on her door.
The hallway was deserted and dark. Relief crept into her ... Apparently he had really given up and left.
Now she too felt how tiredness was retreating into her body and threatening to overwhelm her. Lefia sighed again and then went to her room, where she collapsed on her bed and thought for a long time about what had happened to find answers, because sleep just didn't want to come, even though she was so tired a few seconds ago.
At some point, near dawn, he did come and at least gave Lefia some rest ... if not very much.
