Ai walked slowly and disinterestedly through the streets. She had changed schools yesterday and was now on her way home from Domino High.
She hadn't left school voluntarily, but the headmaster had suggested that either she should leave school or that he would just give her leftovers. The old Recktor was her grandfather. She had caused a lot of trouble.
She kept beating her classmates and teachers and nobody dared to do anything. The house leftovers couldn't really harm her, but that would also mean that she couldn't go to kickboxing. Kickboxing was one of her few hobbies.
She was just about to cross the street when she saw a little boy just run into the street.
That wasn't even the worst, because it just came drifting around the corner.
The car slammed on the brakes and honked like crazy.
It slid closer, impatiently.The boy looked at the car in horror and was paralyzed.
Ai ran up to him, jumped the last bit, and grabbed him. She sucked in a hiss of air in pain.

With one hand she hugged him, with the other she pushed away from the ground as they almost hit the ground. She turned it in the air so that she could land on her feet and looked briefly down at the boy. He had a shaggy black mane and blue / gray eyes that looked at her in amazement while he clung to her.

Next to him was a girl with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. Then there was a boy with brown hair that seemed a bit headstrong and with brown, fearful eyes.
Ai recognized him immediately and her eyes darkened.
"Tristan!"she hissed.
Everyone watched in confusion as he hid behind the girl.
Suddenly the blond boy who had been standing next to Tristan uttered an astonished exclamation.
"Ai?" He asked then.
Ai took a closer look at him and then began to grin.
"Street dog !!!" she said happily.
"Ai !!!! My little Ai, is back !!!!", he called and threw himself on her neck.
But since she kneeled, they both fell over.
Joey fell on top of her and looked like an overripe tomato.
"Oops, not again," he said, embarrassed.

Then Ai started to grin.

Bakura looked pretty shocked while the others grinned gleefully.
"Well, pride comes before the fall!" Said Tea.
Ai looked at her watch and went pale.
"Shit, I'm late for training!", She said and tossed her school bag to Bakura.
"Bakura, you come with me and take care of my bag.", She said and ran off.
Bakura hurried up and ran after her.

After training, she went to the women's locker room and showered first. Bakura, who was supposed to be waiting outside, just went in when she put on the top.

Ai quickly finished getting dressed and walked past him.
