Der GOLDENE Drache

Part 1

So there I am again ^^
I'll try a fantasy adventure and I can tell you one thing it's about dragons in the course of the story ^^ well how could it be otherwise when you look at the title.
Well, just read it and tell me if it's good or just nonsense again ^^

"You can only tame a dragon when it is still young.", A deep voice echoed in the darkness.
The best rumors were always going around in the small tavern in the town of ´Woll´. If you were looking for the novelties of the day, this was the right place for you.
"I heard that there are now dragon eggs again, and one thing is very special.", The old man spoke up again with the deep voice. It was a little old man with a wise full beard, who was sitting at a large table, around which many young men stood and listened attentively to the stories and rumors, because stories about kites were much loved. You couldn't always be sure whether the rumors were true, but most of the time it was the case.
"They say that one of the eggs of this year's brood is something special. Because the color is wonderfully golden," the man grumbled, ending in a sardonic laugh.
With the word golden the eyes of the men got bigger and bigger, only one pair of eyes changed not out of greed but out of joy. He's never been around anywhere else, but the latest rumors drew him to the inn.
It was a young man around 17 years of age, tall and yellow cat eyes flashed from under his somewhat longer brown hair before a little snub nose pushed its way through the hair.
"Don't," the boy whispered, inaudible to human ears, and pushed his nose back where it came from.
The old man had meanwhile passed on that a beautiful dragon would probably hatch from the egg if King Maska's crystal ball had its way. That was enough information for Alaric because now the conversation would degenerate into laughter and drinking and so he got up from his chair, pushed it to the table and was about to leave the drunk inn, but at the last moment a stupid drunk slipped between him and the door and breathed on Alaric's face. "Such a h ... handsome boy like you ... in a pub like that?"
Alaric had to pull himself together in order not to give up his breakfast, which he had only had a few hours ago, but his anger could no longer echo and so it burst out of him. "Yes, I'm in this tavern, but not much longer. And now get out of here!" At the last word Alaric clenched his left hand into a fast and struck.
The drunk flew out of the door in a high arc and landed in the mud. Alaric straightened up and strode out of the house into the pouring rain.

For this time of year it was common for it to rain around the morning hours and so it was not surprising for the boy that his constant companion gave a hiss on his shoulder."Oh come on, you can't get much water. After all, my hair is in front of it." Alaric gave his companion to understand and then set off.
With every step of Alaric he left a track in the mud and so he looked for the street and continued there so as not to leave too many tracks, because after all, not everyone should know where he lived.
After a few meters Alaric came to a small rock and breathed a sigh of relief. He stepped to the right into the forest, it was no ordinary forest, the people from the city avoided the forest as best they could. Because King Maska put the worm in their ears that the forest was cursed and no one who went into the forest came out alive.
But Alaric was the proof that it was not true, after all, he had lived in this forest for 7 years. But none of the villagers was familiar with it and so it happened occasionally that they threw themselves up to him to find out where he lived, since he showed up every morning and was immediately gone again.Alaric's constant companion knew exactly that they were about to be there and went into business for themselves.
The velvet paw hopped lightly from his broad shoulder and landed on a broken branch on the ground.
It was routine that she got off Alaric at this point and walked on herself, because she couldn't do that in the city, animals were not allowed there.
The cat stretched extensively and then happily hopped from branch to branch so as not to end up in the mud. But then she stopped and waited for her master, who took it a little more comfortably, after all he still had the whole day.
"Mia, Mia.", But then the small, fluffy animal expressed its impatience.
"Yes, Minna, I'm coming."
When Alaric was with Minna, she purred enthusiastically and crept around between his legs. The young man picked up the orange and brown ball of fur and put it back on his shoulders.
Minna felt comfortable there and Alaric also knew where his beloved animal was, but even if she wasn't sitting on him he knew what was going on, because they had a special connection to each other. The two stepped through a thick undergrowth and were then already in their apartment.
It was humble and small. There was a single bed beside a large tree and a campfire spot a little further away. Otherwise his empire consisted only of branches tied together, on which a leather blanket was stretched, which served as a roof over the bed and a tree stump where a lot of collected scrap lay. Some pots, spoons and knives.
It was really not a particularly inviting apartment but it was enough for Alaric and Minna and after all they were only here to sleep and otherwise they were on the move and so Alaric looked for a knife, put it in a leather belt around his waist, Minna snatched it again had made comfortable on the bed and it went on.
His path would lead them to a small stream near a small village. And so it was. After an hour's walk, they arrived at the stream.
Minna jumped from her master's shoulders and took a few sips.Alaric did the same and washed his face.
Washed and strengthened, they headed for today's adventure.

So end of the first part. And how was it? Can you read it without being damaged? ^^
And I hope there are not so many misspellings inside, if you please excuse me ^^ "
