Der GOLDENE Drache
Part 2
So there is a new chapter again ^^
No long speeches just read ^^
It was still raining.
The small, barely noticeable raindrops were the worst. They pelted you down without paying attention.
Alaric's gaze wandered over the stream. Again and again he had to close his eyes to crave something again.
Every single raindrop left a crater in the creek for a few seconds and then became one with the creek water.
While Alaric pondered this fact, Minna became more and more restless. The little animal padded from stone to stone but suddenly she scurried quickly back to her master on the shoulder.
The cat knew exactly why it was doing this.
Less than two seconds later, a fog came up so that you couldn't see your own hand in front of your eyes.
"You knew?" Alaric muttered to his mate and sighed softly.
Now the two of them had a problem.
Where was the way to the village?
And if you were lucky you wouldn't find that."Mia.", It came out from under Alaric's hair and Alaric chuckled softly. "Oh yes? Well as you mean, but then it's not my fault."
In the eerie silence that reigned around them, you could only hear Alaric's quick breathing.
Slowly but surely the young man panicked.
"I don't see anything. I don't know where I'm going. What if I step into the stream?" He muttered between his quick breaths.
"Meow. Meowuuuuuuuu." Protested the velvet paw but only snapped.
"Yeah, okay, I pointed out, we have to go on ... I'm scared. So slowly.", Alaric came out of his throat.
Step by step he looked for a way through nothing.
Step by step he became more insecure and slower.
The brook was already behind him and a new, unknown path lay ahead of him. Alaric was sure that it wasn't the way to the village, but he walked slowly and steadily on.
The ground suddenly changed under Alaric's legs.He gave in, so he had to be back in the muddy area, near a forest, or a forest edge.
Long arms felt forward and looked for trees or something like that but there was nothing, no tree, no bush, just ...
The young man had to think about what that could be. Yes, then it occurred to him.
It was an entrance gate. It was a small gate made of wooden stakes.
Relief spreads in his heart.
His steps became faster and after a few leaps he was standing in a tent camp.
Around him women, everywhere he looked women and girls, only an old man sat by a roofed campfire.
One of the older women, Alaric estimated her to be 30 or a little older, came up to him and said.
"Well? What brings you here?"
"Um ... I .." Alaric first had to recover from his slight shock and then said.
"I'm lost ... can I stay the night?"
This question costs the young man some effort, but when he had spoken it he wished he would rather not have asked it.In a flash all eyes were on Alaric's body and got stuck there.
Minna, who was still sitting on his shoulders and not yet showing herself, noticed exactly what was happening.
With one leap the little cat landed on all fours in front of her master and hissed everyone who came even one step closer to him.
"Minna, .. stop it .. it's okay.", Alaric pressed through his teeth.
He certainly didn't want them to take Minna away from him and so he grabbed the cat again and held her tightly in his arms.
Still waiting for an answer to his question, he stood and continued to be stared at.
Finally a little girl approached.
"Yes, you can stay there, can I have it?"
She finally asked when she was standing in front of Alaric and smiled at him.
"Yes here.", Alaric finally managed to press it through his teeth and handed Minna to the girl.
"So and you look hungry. Come on.", The woman asked him and grabbed him under the arms before she dragged him along.Suddenly Alaric was standing in one of the tents and didn't know what would happen next.
Outside the hustle and bustle continued.
Music was played, sung and danced.
"Sit down. And eat something, there is enough.", She pushed the man down and then sat down next to him. Another woman came and put a bowl of food in front of Alaric's nose and smiled.
A slight panic spread in Alaric, should he accept the food?
He was sure that something would happen, he had such a feeling, but if he didn't eat it, he was sure that something would also happen and so Alaric decided to taste the food.
After a few bites, however, Alaric's vision diminished. He takes a deep breath and shakes his head.
No what was going on now?
These women didn't mix sleeping pills with my food, did they? I was right. Were Alaric's thoughts.
He wanted to call Minna but nothing came out of his mouth when he tore it open.Panic covered his body like a veil.
Slowly he felt his body getting heavier.
Minna !!! If the young man shouted in his mind but did not happen, his cat was gone.
A slight tremor settled over Alaric's limbs but there was something else. Something touched his arm.
Searching, he turned his head back and forth until he finally saw one of the women sitting next to him on the floor.
"..." nothing came out of his throat, he was helpless, helpless and alone among women.
The grip on Alaric's arm loosened after a few minutes and the touch moved up to his chest.
No!!!!!!!!!!!! He cried out in his mind and screwed up his tired eyes.
He had to do something.
One last deep breath.
Alaric closed his eyes and ordered his limbs to move.
At first nothing happened, not even a shrug.
Try again and his left arm moved.
He lifted him up and immediately afterwards pushed the woman away from his body and onto the ground. His legs also woke up again. First the right foot and then the left.
When he stood up again, he stumbled somewhat helplessly out of the tent and was back in the open. The rain still hadn't let up.
Searching, he looked around for Minna and then managed to say a quiet "Minna".
At the other end of the camp, two ears suddenly moved.
Not a second later the animal jumped up and started running.
Alaric trudged on towards the entrance gate and when he thought he heard Minna behind him he took a deep breath and started walking, because he had noticed along the way that the women were chasing him and wanted to bring him back.
Panicked and tired, he stormed into the fog with the last of his strength and a little further back to the edge of the forest.
"Minna, come here." He whispered, slumped and the rain pelted incessantly on the body lying on the ground.
On a high mountain, on top of the summit, was a dragon's nest.
It was completely soaked and no mother dragon was to be seen far and wide.So that was it again….
Well, I'm not completely satisfied with the chapter, I didn't manage to put what I wanted on paper, but what the heck I hope you had fun and let me pick me ^^
