She pulled Eva to her feet and wrapped the thin rope around her body so that the bundle of sticks hung on her back. She grimaced briefly. Then she put Eva's arm around her shoulder, took her bundle in her hand and put her other arm around Eva's waist.
"Are you in pain, Lilith?"
"It works. Better take care of your health."

Somehow Lilith had managed to climb the steep wall of the river bed with her bundle of thorns and Eva.
"We're almost there," she said after a while.
They walked slowly towards the tallest of the derelict buildings. Once there, she leaned Eva against the wall. She had to muster some strength to clear the heavy boards that covered the entrance. Lilith helped Eva in and locked the entrance again.
“We still have to go up the stairs. It could be very exhausting. Wait here. I'll get help."She carefully placed Eva on the steps and then went up the stairs.

"Adam!" She called out of breath when she got upstairs.
“What is it now?” He was indignant. "Where have you been so long?"
"Please, come with me. I've found someone, but I can't do it alone."
"What are you talking about?"
She dropped the bundle of thorns. There were bloody scratches on her back and shoulders, but that left him cold.
Adam narrowed his eyes and decided to follow her for once.

“Oh no! She passed out!” Lilith hurried to Eva.
Adam stopped as if frozen in a pillar of salt. A charming creature lay on the stone stairs.
'She must be an angel', he thought.
Adam took her in his arms and carried her up the stairs.
He took her to the dilapidated house and laid her on Lilith's bed.

"You are looking for a new place to sleep from today," he said at her.
She looked at him in horror.
"What are you still standing around here?Go "He wanted to be alone with her. With that blonde angel.

The little redhead turned angrily.

Eva recovered surprisingly well. But Adam hadn't let Lilith near her anymore.
Today was the first day the two women saw each other again. They were pulling weeds in one of the beds.
For a while they worked side by side in silence.
"Adam is very clever," Eve ended the silence.
Lilith just snorted disparagingly.
"What about you?" She asked, her blue eyes looking innocent.
“Nothing, let's go on.” That ended the conversation for Lilith.

After the Lord's Supper - Lilith had to serve Adam and Eve - he sent his first companion back into the gorge.
Now he was alone with Eva. Tonight he would make it his own.
He whispered tender words in her ear.
She blushed gracefully.
"Come on, you'll like it," Adam purred and took Eva's hand.
Reluctantly, she went with him. He led her to a soft bed in the back of the garden, which was open to the sky.They sat down on it.

On this starry night only lust-soaked cries penetrated the silence.

What neither of them had noticed was Lilith, who had returned earlier. With tears in her eyes and a face contorted with pain, she stood in the shadow of a wall. The little knife was in her belt.

Adam and Eve lay together, their bodies in close embrace.
Lilith stepped out of the shadows. Furious, she brushed a vase with holes in it from the wall.
The noise made the lovers startle.
"How dare you use her like that!" Lilith yelled. Her red hair stuck out in all directions and a thin film of sweat made her tanned skin shine.
“What are you talking about, woman?” He got up and approached her threateningly.
“Lilith, it was beautiful.” Eva had now also got up.
"You abused her! Just as you abused me incessantly!" Now it didn't matter. Anger and anger, pent up for years, broke out of her."You, you monster! You think you know everything better, but you don't know anything! And this naive thing," she pointed to Eva, "believes you everything, too! I'll say it one more time: I am. Not. Your. UNDERTAN! "

And again he raised his hand to her. Multiple times. He called it righteous anger.
When he finished, he told Eva not to take care of the wounds. Lilith had to be punished for this outrage.

Eva came to her early in the morning. She was carrying a bundle.
"It would be better if you went. Better for all of us. You are wild, unruly and indomitable."
Not because of naive, thought Lilith.
Furious, she took the bundle from her hand and disappeared at sunrise.
