Bloody Rose

Das Leben eine Bluttrinkers

Day of death (part 1)

My day started at 5 a.m. Not that I set the alarm clock or anything, but at the moment I couldn't get back to sleep. I went to bed late and woke up too early. But this time my cat woke me up when she broke something downstairs. I was quite sure that it was her. Who else would have been hanging around there. Why do I even have this damn thing? , I wondered. Having a cat as a boy. I didn't even like animals very much. I fed Aisha every now and then and the rest was none of my business. I didn't like stroking her either. So why did I own it again?
Well, I'll admit it. I know exactly why I have it. Well in part. Aisha belonged to my mother. But when she died I had to take care of this nuisance. That's why I hated Aisha so much. Exactly because it belonged to my mother whom I just hated. The poor thing couldn't help it. Isn't that supposed to be fair? When was and is life fair?
I pushed the covers aside and sipped into the bathroom with my shoulders drooping. As I looked at my reflection in the mirror, a single word floated around in my head. Zombie. Messy brown hair, skin as pale as a ghost and then those dark circles. Maybe I should just skip today and make myself comfortable on the sofa. Wouldn't care anyway if I was missing. Apart from this ball of fur, but only because at some point it would not find its food in the food bowl.
I took my toothbrush and made myself a huge dollop of toothpaste. The world and the creatures that live on it should be cursed, I thought angrily. Everyone thought only of themselves. I put the toothbrush in my mouth and lazily brushed my teeth. So somehow my arms didn't want to work properly.
Boom! Then you heard something break again. I winced briefly, then washed my mouth out. When I went out of the bathroom I grabbed a towel that landed in a high arch on my bed immediately afterwards. What the hell is going on down there? Boom! The sound of objects breaking again. I really wondered what was broken down there, but I didn't feel like going downstairs. So I went to my closet and grabbed some black jeans with the words G-Star on the back.
"Hm now just need ...", I mumbled and looked at the window.
The sun was covered by fleecy clouds and shimmered lightly through it. The weather seems to be good today, I thought, and looked back at the closet. I balled up my jeans and tossed them on my bed. "Black attracts warmth ..."
Then I took a pair of blue jeans and a khaki shirt.
I paused for a moment and listened for a noise from below. I was not disappointed, because shortly afterwards there was another crash. Sighing, I slipped into my jeans and pulled my shirt on.
"Aisha, I'm coming now." I called. Yeah, I know it's silly to shout that to a cat. It's almost like we're playing hide and seek. Well, that's how it was. I gave her a chance to prepare for me to yell at her. But I don't think she understood.
I pounded noisily down the stairs. I turned the corner downstairs and headed for the kitchen. I expected the kitchen to be in chaos. But unfortunately something completely different awaited me. The kitchen looked exactly as I left it last night. And please don't think that I'm messy now. Since I live here alone, I've gotten used to clearing up all my stuff.
Funny, I thought and looked around. Hey wait a minute! Where is the blue mug that I put on the counter? And the vase with the flowers is also missing. Why weren't these items in their rightful place? If Aisha had thrown her down, and it definitely was
listened, why weren't there any broken pieces here? She couldn't possibly have put it away? I went to the trash can and looked inside. No, there aren't the remains of things ...
"Aisha?" I said her name gently. That always helped. She would always come to me, but this shouldn't be the case today. I waited a little longer, then went to the living room. "Aisha are ..."
I stopped talking in the middle of a sentence. Did I just make a mistake or am I starting to go crazy? I could still see how dark hair disappeared behind the leather couch. In no case could it have been Aisha. First because she was a cat, and second, she didn't have that long hair.
I took a step forward, but then stopped again.
"Vincent. Vincent don't come too close to me.", Whispered a rough voice from behind the couch. The whole thing slowly became too uncomfortable for me. I mean hello Somebody is sitting in my house, behind my couch, telling me to stay away? Some would run to the nearest phone now and call the cops. But I didn't feel like it. I've never been someone who was told what to do and what not to do. "I don't know who you are or what you are doing here, but please leave."
"Vincent, I'm serious. Stay away from me.", The voice warned me again. But that is exactly what prompted me to take another step forward. You have nothing to say to me, I thought.
"Thirst. I'm so thirsty. Vincent, you smell so good. Why do you smell so good?" Shortly afterwards I heard a deep rumble, which at first I thought there was a thunderstorm outside. But the look outside showed me the opposite. Is that a growl? No human being could make such noises. Yes, now I was quite sure. I was about to go nuts.High time to get a girlfriend, I thought.
"Oh shut up and come out from behind the couch." I said annoyed and wanted to look behind the leather couch.
"No!" The creature screeched and a blast of air made my hair swirl. I held my arms protectively in front of my face. But as quickly as it came, the blast of air was gone again. I slowly lowered my arms and stood there in a daze. What was that?
I slowly leaned over the couch and blinked a few times when I found nothing there. Then I rubbed my eyes and looked again, hoping to see something unusual this time. Did I imagine the whole thing? I turned back and ran into the kitchen. The vase and cup weren't there. I played it safe and rummaged through the cupboards and drawers in vain. There was no trace of Aisha either. Stupid cattle just disappeared the day I died. Yes you heard right. On the day of my death. Today would be the end of my life. With my human life. But let's stop talking about my death.
My eyes fell on the wall clock. "What already so late? Man, I'm late."
I grabbed my backpack, which was resting on a chair, and ran. The front door thundered shut behind me. Actually, I always graduated, but I really didn't feel like being late.
When I got to the bus stop, my first thought was whether I had already missed the bus. It was pretty likely, because firstly: the bus should have been here five minutes and secondly: there was no pig here, except me of course.
"Hi Vinvin.", A female voice interrupted me.
"How, what, where?" I said confused, but when I recognized the person backed off. "What are you doing here?"
"Don't be so rude Vinvin. Cassandra's been in school a long time, so you can calm down."
"Yes, already understood."Cassandra and Cindy. Twins. The same appearance, however, both had different personalities. Yes, except for their looks, they don't look a bit alike. Like angels and demons. Cass most certainly would have been the demon. Cindy was loving and good-natured. Hm now it occurs to me that the two still had something in common. You were in love with me. No, I didn't find out myself, they told me. I gave them a basket. But what do you do instead of giving up? They kept going and wanted to win my love. Funny how But since I was and still is someone who didn't fall in love quickly, the whole thing got worse and worse. Eventually the blazing fire of war kindled between them. But that's not all. It infected other girls, and all because of Cassandra. But now that's the end of it. I'll tell you the rest in the presence of my personal devil.
"Vinvin!", Cindy interrupted me again.
"What is it now? And stop calling me Vinvin. My name is Vincent!" I snapped at her. She was nice and a little angel, but my God could annoy her.
"Vinvin don't take your bad mood out on me.", She threw me a withering look that I didn't even know. She had probably learned it from Cass. "And come on now! Otherwise the bus will continue." She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the bus, not exactly in a friendly manner. Didn't even notice that the bus had come ...
I sat down in front of one of the four places and "of course" Cindy had to sit next to it. I deliberately looked outside and tried to ignore her, which was pretty difficult for me.
"Vinvin you know I heard ..."
I couldn't completely exclude their chatter from my ears, which is why words like "English work" or "homework" got through to me from time to time. Fortunately, she was one of those girls who didn't talk about makeup and the latest trends all the time. But that didn't mean she didn't look lovely. Dark brown, wavy hair that reached down to her back. Petite and slim figure. Blue eyes reflect purity. Skin as white as snow and then those cherry red lips. She and her sister were very popular with the boys. There was only one difference between the two sisters. Candy didn't dress as slutty as her sister. But no matter how beautiful the Gold Twins were, it left me cold. Oh and the nickname didn't come from the fact that they were so "golden" but because that was their last name. Cassandra and Cindy Gold.
Volksdorf subway. Last stop. Please all get out.
"Come on Vinvin.", Candy said and got up. She grabbed my arm again and pulled me with her.
"Yes, I'm coming ..." I muttered and stumbled after her. When I was back on solid ground I withdrew my arm from her. "Stop pulling me back and forth. I can run myself and damn it, don't call me Vinvin!" I had the feeling that she sank more and more with every word and I could swear that her eyes were glassy than I was turned around and stomped away furiously.
"Vinvin?" I heard her say in a broken voice. My steps got slower and slower until I finally came to a standstill. I felt totally uncomfortable with my skin for treating her so meanly. But it was also a
