How everything began

Once upon a time, a very long time ago, in a far-off kingdom, there lived a little fairy with her beautiful sister. Where every fairy tale would come true ...
Well ... that wasn't that long ago, and we didn't live in a kingdom far away either.

It was the tropical rainforest and it looked so far away because you couldn't see the end through all the trees. But in my childhood it looked like a great kingdom to me. I'm July and I lived together with my older sister Maya as forest fairies in the rainforest. I got this stupid name because I was born this month and because my parents probably couldn't think of anything better, really annoying. Even though I was Maya's sister, I was her best friend and she was mine, nothing could tear us apart. My sister was very stylish and I was always up to date so I never had the feeling that I was out of style.
She had a suit that went up just a little and was sleeveless. She wore long black stockings that went up to her thighs and large shoes that went just below her knees. In addition, she always had arm protection that protect the whole arm. Everyone of our kind had their own element that you get from birth. Maya had the power of the wind, she could control wind direction and air, I got the power of the earth,
I could make plants bloom and move rocks. It was great fun to experiment with the forces of nature and to apply them to useful things, and we could still fly, which was really difficult for me at the beginning.
I owe everything I know about life to my sister.
I was just the happiest fairy in the world.
We lived in a huge flower with blue petals and in summer it smelled so nice of raspberry. Here we could do whatever we wanted, we were free. But then, when I was just eight years old, the sky turned dead black.
Our queen had died, she was responsible for the well-being of the forest dwellers.
They protected the forest so we were always fine. Her successor was her nephew Viktor.
He was just disgusting, he was a big dark shadow and he had blood-red eyes that everyone found scary. But I was sure that he was a vampire.
Rear gate forbade us forest dwellers to use any magic and whoever did that was either locked up or was tied to a spider web just horrible.
As protection he still had his oversized bat Hasso, who had a brain about the size of a pollen. The two knew no knade when it came to breaking rules. So we now lived in fear and terror. It was hard for us not to be able to use magic anymore, it's like having your thumb cut off
it is difficult to go on living without him.
But it got even worse, it was new that we were no longer allowed to conjure up a change in life. I had flown a round walk because we heard a faint scream. Immediately we flew in the direction where the scream came from. When we arrived we saw an old elf who was crushed by a rock by an earth lavine.
“We have to help him!” I made it clear to my sister.
"Yes, but how, we are not allowed to use magic."
Desperate, she looked at the floor while the old man pleaded for help.
"There's nobody here, give me your back sister!"
"Ok, hurry up!"
I looked around again and when I was sure that nobody was watching us I reached out my hand to the rock and concentrated.
I picked up the rock so Maya could bring the old man out.
She helped him back on his feet and he thanked him and continued on his way.
So we thought we had done a good deed and went on happily. But later, when we were back home with half an hour, there was a knock on the door.
I hurriedly flew down into the stem of our flower and opened the door.

There were three soldiers from Hecktor outside.
“Are you July?” One of the guards asked me.
"Y-yes."
I replied after a while, because I was shaking because I knew that it wouldn't bode well.
"You are under arrest. You will be taken to the dungeon now, for a lifetime!"
leave me a short letter from another soldier.
"Why? What did I do wrong?" I yelled at her.
My sister came out of the kitchen to see what was going on because I was so loud.
"It was seen that you conjured up without permission, this is a serious offense and that will now be punished"
"I beg your pardon?!" my sister froze and dropped the wooden spoon.
"N-No, that's not possible." I absently stepped back a few arguments.
"Come along with no resistance, then we won't harm you."
I scorched my head knowing there was no point in fighting back anyway.
“No!” My sister stepped resolutely in front of me and grabbed my arm.
"She's still a child, and besides, I allowed her to do magic so that she could help the man. I instigated her to do so, she has nothing to do with it !!"
And for a short moment everyone was silent because somehow the soldier didn't know how to handle it properly. But then the third soldier in the group said:
“If that is the case and you are the instigator you will come with us and serve the sentence for a lifetime!” And suddenly my kingdom collapsed forever.
My sister let go of my hand to follow the soldiers.
"Maya! You mustn't go! Who is watching me now?"
I looked at her confused with tears in my eyes.
"I will always be with you and protect you.
And don't blame yourself, you are still young and can experience so much. It's better this way! "Then Maya turned around and walked in the middle of the soldiers, one walking next to him.
I felt dizzy and slumped to the floor.
"M- Mayaaaaa!"
I yelled after her, but she didn't turn around and just walked on in silence.
From that day on I was never able to use magic against me and crept into our house and lived there. I could never forget that day, the day I lost my sister. Almost six years have passed since then ...

... And I vowed to save my sister Maya! Cost what it may!
I would even go to the end of this world to save her.
To be reunited with her, that is MY destiny !!
