It was evening. The sun had just set and only a few rays could be seen.
It was quiet in Sesshomarus Castle. Dead silence. Exactly right, thought Sesshomaru, who was sitting in his chair in the study. Rin and Jackets were already in their beds and were sound asleep.
He liked the silence, the calm. . .

"Hey, let go of me!" Came an angry girl's voice.
Sesshomaru got up. A girl in my castle? he thought and went downstairs.
"What's going on here?" He asked the guard.
"An elf broke into her country," he replied stammering.
"Take me to her," Sesshomaru said coolly.
An elf on his land?

The elf was in the dungeon. She couldn't be older than 20 in human years. She had long, light orange hair and a kind of feather headdress.
She was actually beautiful. But Sesshomaru didn't care in the least.
"What are you doing on my land?" He asked her.
"I hunt demons. And that's why I'm allowed to move around freely!"

Sesshomaru wondered what this elf answered. She seemed pretty naughty.
"Don't talk to me so cheekily! You don't know who you're dealing with here!" He replied.
"I don't care!" She hissed.
Sesshomaru knew there was no point in discussing any further.
"Where do you come from that you end up here?" He asked instead.
"Therabitia, the kingdom of the elves. And I already said that I hunt demons", answered the addressee.
"Aha," Sesshomaru nodded.
"Take them to Lila, the doctor. She will take care of your wounds," he said to the guards. "I could use this girl, so afterwards bring her to the room next to mine"

The girl was a bit surprised, but allowed herself to be dragged along and cast a confused look at Sesshomaru.
He stood there until he could no longer see her, and then left the dungeon and went to sleep in his room.She really was a special elf. . .
