beautifully laid out, modern and yet timeless, but not without radiating a certain pomp. Sakura noticed reluctantly that she was beginning to feel comfortable here and thought of her old home with a pang in her heart.
"Thank you guys!" she huffed when they got to the front gate.
"I'm going home first, it was a lot of stress for today!"
Ino grinned knowingly and tossed her hair back. "It's nice that you liked it. Tomorrow you will surely get to know a lot more, I'll show you the swimming pool, I bet that'll knock you out!"Sakura nodded exhausted and wanted nothing but home. Her mother wouldn't be home until late, but that was exactly why it was nice there. She would have her peace and quiet and be all alone in the villa!
"Shall I take you home? You live near Hinata's house, so I always drive by! Although if you are there with your own car ..." Naruto began and Sakura swallowed. She hardly wanted to admit that she couldn't drive and took the bus, but walking wasn't very tempting either. So why not?
"Gladly! Are you coming too, Hinata?" she asked and smiled encouragingly at the shy little girl. She shook her head.
"My cousin Neji takes me with him. But if you want, I'll wait for you here tomorrow, okay?"
Sakura thanked him happily and also said goodbye to Ino. The blonde assured her that she would be with her tomorrow and waved to Naruto, who was halfway to the parking lot again.
"Wait! I'm coming!" shouted Sakura and wanted to run after him. Shikamaru held her back briefly, however. With a quick sideways glance at Ino, who was waving to Naruto with Hinata, he stepped closer to her.
"I just wanted to say ..." he started and bit his lip.
"Stay away from them! I have a bad feeling about that. And ... that sucks!" he said and Sakura nodded.
“I'll be careful!” Somehow she liked the calm, annoyed guy. She smiled at him again and ran towards the parking lot to catch up with Naruto. He looked after her for a moment and then left the school grounds with Ino and Hinata.
Nobody noticed that they were being watched.

In the shade of the trees stood a figure, the blonde Itachi had talked to in the dining room. His fingertips tapped impatiently on the thick trunk of the oak tree behind him, while his keen eyes followed the girl's every move.
He watched Sakura until she left the school grounds in Naruto's car and disappeared from view.A satisfied smile came to his lips and he licked his mouth. It would soon be dawn, the sun was already near the ground.
With one last look at the now empty meadow, it disappeared as silently as it had come.
