She went on a search. After two hours of endless searching, she found a book entitled, 'All About Magic'. She took it off the shelf and flipped through it, but she couldn't find what she was looking for. She put the book back in disappointment. She was about to go to the librarian when she discovered a staircase that apparently led to a cellar. Kiara went down and found more shelves full of books. But something was different than above. The air smelled of incense and there were strange pictures of all kinds of things on the walls. * Where did I end up here? *, she thought, * It must be something like a secret chamber where rare books are kept. I'll have a look around, maybe I'll find something about pentagrams and such. *
Suddenly her amulet started to glow and pulled her in a certain direction. Now she was standing in front of a row of books, some of which the cover could no longer be made out properly because they were apparently very old. But one thing said what she was looking for: 'Pentagrams and their power'.
Kiara took out the book and flipped through it. She even found some pentagrams, but much was indistinct and written in strange script that she could not read. Her amulet began to glow again, but this time the bluish light shone on the letters in such a way that she could read them without any problems. She asked herself: * The amulet has incredible power. I need to find out more about it. Let's see if there are more books about such things here. * She found two other books: 'Elf, Succubus and Dragon', 'The Teaching of Magic' and 'Magical Artifacts'.She put these books on a table nearby because they were very heavy. Suddenly she saw a moving shadow on the wall. He was a strange figure. When Kiara looked what that could be for someone, she was startled. A centauer stood in front of her. "Hello young lady. Can I be of any help to you?", "No. Thank you, I've already found everything I was looking for.", She stuttered. The zentauer looked at her only briefly and then turned back to his book. Kiara went back to her books and picked her up. She thought: * What was that? I think this is the department for books of magic and stuff. I have to come here often. * She went down the shelves, to the stairs. When she got back upstairs, she went to the librarian and signed the loan notes. The librarian just looked at her in horror and turned back to her computer. When Kiara went outside, it was still raining quite heavily. * Shit, I should have brought an umbrella with me. But it's not that far to my home. I think I'll have to run there. * Her footsteps echoed quickly on the wet floor. She ran as fast as she could. When she got home, she wondered why she hadn't gotten wet at all. * How is that possible ?! It's raining cats and dogs and I didn't have an umbrella. Even my shoes are dry. It's getting stranger and stranger! *, thought Kiara.
It was now 9 p.m. and tomorrow was school. So she quickly packed her school bag and then made herself comfortable on the sofa. * Let's see what kind of things these are now, these pentagrams. So they are needed for what? To summon demons and other beings. Strange so it all has to do with magic. I think I'll take a closer look at that. *, she took another book and read in it. * That's really interesting!The possibilities there are, unbelievable. Cool, female magicians are called shamans. It says that theoretically everyone has magical power. With some more, with others less. That means that I have magical powers too! How cool is that? Well, maybe I should go to bed now. Then she goes to bed exhausted and tired. She places the amulet on the bedside table next to her.
