Sensei Izumo apparently didn't want to make it so easy for me and his doppelganger had now exchanged itself with a piece of wood. But where was the doppelganger now? I hopped off the tree and paused.
Confused, I looked back and forth between two Izumos. Which was the real one and which was the doppelganger? “Sensei, that's totally mean, which of the two are you?” But both Izumos just grinned. He had done that on purpose! Broodingly, I looked back and forth between the two of them, but of course they were completely identical. What should I do now, I don't want to hurt my Sensei after all ?! The only thing that occurred to me now was to put on a pained face, maybe I could bring the real one a pitying look in the face, because Sensei Izumo usually gave in when he saw me like that! The left Izumo, on the other hand, disappeared with a PLOP and the right one grabbed his shoulder. "Oh no, Sensei! I didn't mean that, I'm sorry!" I took long steps to my Sensei. Shit, how could that have happened, I was so sure the one on the left was the real one! Suddenly I stopped. I was so sure because the left one was the real one! I also formed a finger sign, exactly the finger sign that breaks a genjutsu. I was now really sure and said in a firm voice to the appropriate finger sign: "Dissolve Jutsu!"
And indeed, now my Sensei was standing in front of me again, grinning and with a satisfied look. "Very well done, Sui! You solved the task even under difficult conditions!" Now I smiled. "All right, we're serious again. In my opinion, you're good enough." I looked confused. “Good enough for what?” “Well, how about a mission?” I pricked up my ears. A mission, me, good enough for a mission? He saw the expression on my face and waited first. He wanted me to be tortured, how lousy! But I wanted to know now. “Can I go on a mission?” “Well, we have a team in Konoha that needs a man. However, it's only a C mission, so we don't want to use unnecessarily stronger ninjas. And ... the Lower ones that you could use are on missions right now, so you needed someone now. In front of us was the Hokage's desk, laden with paperwork, and behind it was the fifth Hokage. She looked as good as ever, with her flawless skin and long, blonde hair.
"Ah, Izumo. What is it?" She looked at him questioningly. "Well Hokage-sama, I'm coming with the missing man on the team. I've just checked her current skills and in my opinion she would be ready." Tsunade looked me over, I could see her seriously thinking about who I was. She apparently remembered because she said: "You are Sui Yoko?" I nodded. “Very well.” She turned back to her paperwork. "You have to be at the main gate tomorrow morning at sunrise, there you will meet the other team members. Any other questions?" She looked up at me again. “Um, what is the mission?” I asked shyly, but curiously. “The team leader will explain that to you. Well, then that would also be clarified.” She nodded to me and Sensei Izumo again, then leaned back over her work and I followed my Sensei outside.
"I hope you do your best sui tomorrow! It's your chance to show the Hokage that you can be used in missions more often, because you really have potential!" I grinned."Thank you Sensei and goodbye!" I was just about to turn to go when he said in a confident voice: "Oh and Sui, ... after your successful mission I want to see you again for training at sunrise!" " Sure Sensei! "However, I wasn't so sure whether this mission would be that successful ... But first I had to wait and see. I smiled at my sensei, turned around and started walking. Halfway through, I looked back again. He was still standing there and looking after me. When he noticed my gaze, he raised his arm and stretched his thumb up. He was really sure that I would take it. I waved again, then I ran on. On to home.
As I was walking through the alleys something occurred to me: Didn't I actually want to go to the bookstore ?! A smile crossed my lips. How my day had changed today ... it had changed in terms of mission!
