Shuichi Akais Life
memories
The young man wandered through the city with his head bowed. Today was his day off and to be honest he didn't know what to do with it. For a long time he had been working over and over again, he had no time for vacation or days off, even the holidays had been too unimportant for him. He hadn't celebrated Christmas for a long time, there was no reason to be happy or to celebrate a party alone. He didn't care and without saying anything, he happily took on all shifts on holidays. It didn't bother the employees, as they could always go to their families, but James, the boss, was far too suspicious. Every attempt to talk to Shuichi about it had been futile, the man was much too withdrawn, which all only led back to his past. A lot had happened at that time and this shaped his further life. Shuichi lived his life on, it was neither happy nor was there anything good about it, at least it looked like that to himself. Work and work again and again and only so that you no longer have to think about all things, to get rid of guilt feelings and to get revenge. But he had already had this exact revenge and it didn't make the whole thing any better. He stayed the same and today he didn't know what to do with himself. His job was done and due to some injuries he suffered, he had to take a vacation for some time. Vacation? What was so great about that. It had been rather boring, especially since his hobby was already his job and he didn't know what to do with himself.
Shuichi Akai got up and went to work as he did every morning. Only then did he find out about the new events and the instructions to not work. Immediately and quickly, he had to think about what he wanted to do, but it wasn't as easy as it was for the others in the FBI. With Jodie he could already imagine that she would have a nice day in the park, the swimming pool or with her former students, but he had been different, he had been a real mystery. This was also the first word that came to mind when many saw him, but also knew him. Shuichi had been mysterious and gave no one a glimpse into his soul, he rarely spoke and when he did, then only to the cases and orders. In private he was just silent and you could only guess with luck what he was thinking about.
Now Akai wandered around the city and looked around, the people laughed and were as always exuberant, they hadn't known anything that had happened so far and it would be better for them never to know. Even if Shuichi thought it was good that people were exuberant as always, he couldn't be like that, he couldn't smile and certainly not be happy. His conscience gnawed at him, but that wasn't the only thing, he also felt lonely and misunderstood. His old life as he knew it would never come back to him and all because he had changed so much.
Akai sighed and took a seat in a chair. He ended up in a café and immediately ordered a black coffee. As always, he drank it without any additives such as milk or sugar, since his drink tasted better without them. He ignored the waitress and looked around. It was a little habit of his, no matter where he was, he had to look around and observe the situation for the first time, after all, something could always happen. Without grimacing, he looked at the intersection, it had been animated with people and old memories were returning, memories that would have been better kept closed forever ...
