Chapter 1: First day after the holidays

It was a normal morning when a blonde girl pounded her alarm clock angrily. "Damn ... I don't feel like going to school ..", she turned on her side, annoyed. "SAKURA!", She shouted the next moment. A movement from the guest bed could be seen indistinctly, this was followed by a low growl. "We have to go!" "Nothing there ... I'm sleeping ...!", It came out from under the covers. The blonde smiled. Sakura was always like that and therefore she already knew what to do. With a jerk she tore the covers off Sakura. "STAND UP!" She yelled.

Sakura straightened up angrily. "Why should I? I don't feel like going to school! Give me my blanket back, Ino!" Ino grinned and made her way to the kitchen with Sakura's blanket in tow.
Once there, she sat down at the table and began to eat. Then she heard Sakura rumbling down the stairs. "I'll never stay with you again!" Sakura hissed. "You say that every time!" She replied with a grin. While they were having breakfast in silence, Sakura looked briefly at the clock. She got up screaming. "We have to go!"
At a breakneck pace, the two rushed back upstairs and slipped into their school uniforms. Then they rushed out of the house in the direction of the bus stop, where the bus was ready to leave. When they were finally on the bus they went back to the rest of the gang, who were apparently just as tired as they were. "Good morning!", Said Sakura and fell on the seat next to Neji and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning!", Neji replied and turned back to TenTen who was sitting across from him. She leaned over to Ino and Sakura and gave each one a kiss on the cheek. While Ino greeted Neji, TenTen looked at Sakura. "So? Have you talked to Shikamaru again?"
Neji and Ino sighed.
"No!" Said Sakura defiantly. "If he should apologize to me ... Screaming at me in front of the whole class just because I stepped on his foot ...""I thought you insulted him and threw the cleaning mop in his face.", Neji said with raised eyebrows. "Yes for all I care ...", Sakura relented.
TenTen had to laugh while Ino sighed. "I would be totally happy if there would be a week without a fight between my best friend and my boyfriend. Saku please !!!" She looked at Sakura pleadingly. This avoided her gaze. "That would work if he pulled himself together ..."
"My goodness again!" Ino exclaimed. "I don't fight Sasuke all the time either!" "What does that have to do with Sasuke?", Sakura asked angrily.
Now the "you and Sasuke have been such a sweet couple" theory came back with which she had been in her ears for months. "Well, I'm not arguing with your boyfriend either." Ino said with a cheeky grin on his face.
"First," said Sakura. "Is Sasuke not my friend but my best friend. Second, I have no problem with you arguing with him, and third, keep this sermon not only to me but also to your friend who comes up there!"
In fact, Shikamaru and her best friend had Sasuke on the bus, but could not push their way through to them because too many people were already on the bus. Ino bit her lip. "I can talk to him sometime."
There she was again. Inos "talking to you about it is easier" theory. In general, Ino had many theories that she did not yet know about. Oh yes, she knew what it was like in her friend's head.
Sakura heard Sasuke calling her name, but turned to Neji. A conversation through half the bus? That would just be embarrassing. It was enough that she was hated by all the girls in school because she was his best friend, which of course nobody believed ...
"Hey, how's Hinata doing? I didn't even see her over the weekend!" Hinata was Neji's cousin. However, like most of the clique, she did not go to Kona High School but to a boarding school further away.She only came home on weekends and was therefore not seen as often as the rest of the gang.
"She's probably doing pretty well when she has enough strength to go shopping ... And that 5 hours!", He groaned in horror.
"What did you go with? I wish I had a cousin like that to carry my clothes ...", TenTen muttered. Ino and Sakura nodded in agreement. Neji looked at her perturbed. He liked his cousin, but shopping with her was really the last.
He'd rather drink tea with a fire-breathing dragon. He also liked tea as opposed to shopping. But his cousin had used the dog eye and he had to go with it for better or for worse. Somehow there was always some kind of puppy protection against Hinata.
He sighed again. Now the bus stopped in front of the Kona High building and the students were pushing off the bus. Kona High was one of the most expensive schools in the area and looked accordingly well-kept.
There was lawn mowed everywhere, the buildings were modern, there was a large park where you could take your lunch break, the gym was huge, there were large sports fields and, in addition, tennis, soccer, badminton, football and basketball courts. And the indoor swimming pool and the outdoor pool.
Inside the building there was also a canteen, library, kitchen and classrooms. In general, you could feel comfortable at this school very quickly. When Sakura and Ino stepped off the bus, they saw Sasuke and Shikamaru already waiting. While Sasuke greeted Ino with a kiss, Shikamaru and Sakura ignored each other.
When Shikamaru and Ino went towards the classroom, they deliberately waited a moment and then Sasuke also gave Sakura a kiss. "Good morning little one!" He said with a grin. "I'm not small!", Sakura immediately replied, which was also true because she really wasn't the smallest. Against Sasuke, however, she was small and that was the problem.
Sasuke was pretty well built, maybe because of his idea to try all the sports in school, he was tall, slim and looked pretty good."And your mammoth training again today?", Sakura asked with raised eyebrows.
The old controversial topic, Sasuke had very seldom time for her due to his sports program, which went quite against the grain, and she let Sasuke feel that too.
"No, not today!"
She looked at him in surprise. "Today I have something else to do ..." "And what ???" he was immediately interrupted by her. He started to grin and while they made their way to the classroom, Sakura tried to persuade him to tell him what he was up to, but Sasuke remained stubborn. In class, Sakura immediately moved into the corner where Temari was standing. "SAKURA!", She called immediately through the classroom.
Sasuke rolled her eyes in annoyance. It wasn't that he didn't like Temari, but that annoying voice. He shook his head and went to the other corner where Kiba was talking to Shino. "Hey guys!", He said and greeted them with a handshake. "And? Is it okay today?" Kiba asked immediately. "Sure!", Sasuke grinned. "Why are you grinning like that?" Shino asked. "Thinking of Sakura what?" Now Sasuke sighed. "I don't even know what you want .. She's my best friend, that's all!" "Man Sasuke, you know exactly that any other boy would do anything to get her to bed!", Kiba said emphatically.
Sasuke looked at him, annoyed. "I don't plan to go to bed with her! I'm not that kind of ..." The next words were drowned out by a scream from Sakura.
Immediately the three turned around. "Really?" Sakura yelled at Temari. "Yes!" She yelled back. The next moment the two girls fell on each other's necks. "What's the matter with them?", Shino asked and looked almost disgusted in their direction.
This rum-quike got on his nerves so much, but it always was like that. However, Kiba and Sasuke were of one mind. Something had happened that they should know and so they made their way with Shino in tow to the girls who were now whispering excitedly.But when they saw the boys come to, they fell silent. "What's going on?" Asked Sasuke. "Nothing at all!", Temari said and she and Sakura started to laugh.
"That's not normal!", Kiba whispered to Sasuke and Sasuke nodded in agreement. "Little ..", he said and hugged Sakura from behind. "What?" She asked, leaning back to look him in the eye. "What's so funny?" He asked with raised eyebrows. "Nothing at all!", Said Sakura and started to giggle again.
Sasuke wouldn't necessarily build up what it was about ... rather reduce it. At that moment Miss Anko entered the room. "GOOD MORNING!", She greeted the class loudly, whereupon the first began to laugh. But Anko was always in a good mood and that's why she got along very well with the class. After comparing the history homework and writing new ones, she sat on the desk and began to talk.
"So dear ones now listen for a few minutes. Some boarding school students will come here soon, and some who come from abroad. That's why I don't want to have a fight with you.
No teasing and a few of you will be responsible for a particular one so that everyone can hook up straight away. In addition, physical education today is divided into free work! "
There was great jubilation. Free work in sports meant that you could choose what to do. While Anko was putting her things together, the girls had already joined forces to go swimming. At that moment Sakura had an idea.
"How about if we prefer the cheerleading training? Then we can go swimming afterwards, sport is in the last two hours anyway!" "That's a great idea!", Ino exclaimed and Temari nodded enthusiastically. "Do we want to stay a little longer then? At the swimming pool, because we don't have classes that long today, I mean!"
The others nodded enthusiastically."Sakura?", Anko called at that moment. “Come outside the door for a moment, please!” Sakura immediately got up and followed Anko through the door. A few looked after the two of them but the others didn't care about this conversation. Sakura was constantly being called out by some teachers.
Which was no wonder either. She was the class representative, cheerleading director and also the only student who could assert herself in the class.
In front of the door, Sakura looked at Anko
