Finally the Battle City tournament was in its most delicate phase, only four duelists were left, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Marik Ishtar and the defending champion Yugi Muto. Soon, very soon it would be time to crown the new King of Duelists on the island and Kaiba knew it would be him, he would do anything for that. But it didn't come to that, not yet. The zeppelin was pulled into a magnetic field and in the next moment it was in the secret base of Noah and Gozaburo. The whole time they had to torment themselves through danger, with the Kaiba brothers separating from the rest of the group. But this separation did not last long, Mokuba fell victim to Noah and his brainwashing. Fortunately, however, Mokuba was able to free himself and run into Seto's arms again. After that, Noah's big secret came out and everyone knew he was Seto's stepbrother.

As it was then, it was raining, it was raining cats and dogs, and it would certainly not stop so easily or so quickly. Seto and Mokuba went on and looked around, everything seemed so monotonous, even if Noah adjusted everything one to one and wanted it to be as it was for real life. This was much better for the people who were in cyberspace, even if it was supposed to be just the Kaibas.
"Where are we here ... when can we finally get out?", Mokuba asked his big brother and pressed himself close to him. Sometimes he was really scared in this world, but as long as Seto was there he didn't need to worry, everything would be fine.
"I don't know for sure. Noah just brought us here ... everything seems like it is in reality, but we should be careful," Kaiba replied, slightly worried, and tried to play it down. He didn't want to let Mokuba get scared.
As in real life, the rain made both of them quite wet and took shelter under the roof of a shop.Over time it got darker and darker, night fell and the two Kaiba brothers had no place to stay overnight.
"Come on, Mokuba, let's go on. You can't do anything with standing around alone," the brown-haired replied and looked down.
"Seto .. I'm scared," Mokuba said softly and took his big brother's hand.
"You don't have to be afraid. Nothing can happen to you while you're with me," Kaiba said quietly. Although he had been friendly, he still hadn't smiled.
Smiling and laughing, that was strange to him. He hadn't done this for a long time, he didn't even know how to smile anymore because he hadn't done this for years. Seto looked down at Mokuba for a moment, then up again, he wanted to pay attention to the way, to know exactly where they were going. And yet he couldn't do anything about Noah's little games, but he wouldn't let himself get down that easily. Noah, a boy who had a serious accident and his brain was locked in cyberspace, uses Gozaburi for little games that nobody knew about, and then he was the stepbrother of the adopted Kaiba brothers.
"I don't understand why Noah is doing this to us. He's our stepbrother, we can talk to him in peace, we're brothers," interjected Mokuba.
"He's not our biological brother and just a brood who wants to cause us trouble," said Seto and looked at him.
"Maybe he didn't learn it any other way. Noah certainly doesn't do it for fun," said the little one.
"And if it does, it doesn't change the fact," said Kaiba. Normally he would try to give in, but since Mokuba was important to him and it would be a mistake to trust Noah.
Mokuba was, for him, clearly too good for this world and everyone else would be able to testify to that.
The city through which the two were walking was lonely, deserted and empty, almost as it was in Seto's heart, but the thought of his brother kept him alive and kept a little space free for the feelings he was for this cherished.Since it was still evening, it had been dark, quiet and cold. No person, at least no stranger, moved.
"Come on, let's go somewhere else," suggested Seto. He didn't expect his brother to accept the suggestion or not, he just went for it. Mokuba just nodded and followed his big brother.
"When will we finally get out of here?" He asked.
"Soon ... very soon," Kaiba promised thoughtfully. He hadn't known, he didn't know when the two would come out or how, but one thing was certain. Seto would do anything to ensure that Mokuba could get out, even if he had to mess with Noah again. For him, the duel with this one had not been a defeat, it was a win, the win of Mokuba's heart.
The two brothers walked slowly on, but they didn't get very far. The earth around them was shaken by a tremor, it was loud, almost like an explosion. Something huge had been on the way to the two and was not so easily stopped.
The sea serpentine warrior of darkness had been on the way to both and he would not let mercy be extended. With his enormous points of attack, he would be able to inflict enormous damage on the two Kaiba brothers.
"Come on, Mokuba, hide," Seto ordered when he saw the beast. He didn't know how it was possible that a monster had just appeared in this world. It had never been like that before and only worked if a deckmaster was there. But he was sure that the Big Five were defeated and would not come back. Someone else must have defeated the beast, he let Noah slip out of his mind right away. This one had been sneaky, but would not be so sneaky and just attack. It wasn't his style, it wasn't the Kaiba family style. It had to be someone else, someone else who hadn't shown up here before. Perhaps it had been Noah's trick to let his trump card show up here at the end.Now the sea serpentine warrior of darkness was standing at the same height as Kaiba and they both looked at each other. Neither of them would give up, neither would just stop, especially since the sea serpentine warrior of darkness had a job to do no matter what.
"You want a fight ... well, you can have that. But you will lose", Seto hissed and looked at his duel disc.
"Look my white dragon in the face with an ice-cold look," Kaiba called and brought his dragon onto the field. "Attack and destroy the sea serpentine warrior of darkness," he ordered.
Immediately the white dragon did what it was ordered and extinguished the monster with its flash of light.
"Yes," Mokuba screeched, grinning. Briefly he jumped into the air and crossed both legs together. Again his brother had won with his monster. Mokuba had been happy every time his brother won; he was always happy to see Seto like this.
"Come here Mokuba ... we are not alone", Seto interjected and looked at his brother. Then he stretched out his arm to this one. The little one shouldn't stand so far, alone to one side, and come straight to his big brother.
"Noah is here?" Asked the little one and immediately ran to Seto, whom he immediately hugged. Somehow it was good to hear when his stepbrother was there too, maybe then the three Kaibas would talk to each other and tell each other everything that is important to them. Mokuba hoped so, and much more hoped that it would end the feud.
"I don't think it was Noah ... we Kaibas have a different style, we wouldn't just do something out of ambush, even if I trusted Noah to do that, but no, he wasn't, it doesn't fit him, "said Seto, he too hugged his brother a little closer. He didn't know who it was yet, but he would find this person soon.
"But ... who then?" Asked the black-haired one and looked around, swallowing lightly.He also knew that it couldn't have been any of the ranks of the Big Five, but if they weren't, it wasn't Noah, then who was it? "What about our stepfather?"
"No, I don't think it was Gozaburo, he has other means and does it in a completely different way, if he were, then we wouldn't be standing here so quietly," interjected Kaiba.
With that he had unconsciously put aside Mokuba's hope of a peaceful refutation of the whole quarrel, but even if he hadn't, it would have been wrong, he would only give Mokuba hopes on this issue.
"But who then?" The little one wanted to know.
"There are many," Seto sighed. Unfortunately it was true, he had had many enemies, maybe too many. It was difficult to say which of his enemies were targeting the brothers here. "Come on ... we're on our way, I have the feeling that the person is not here and just sent a henchman," said Seto and turned around with his brother to leave.
"You thought wrong ..." a voice murmured softly. A girl, her white long hair, waved in her face and she was standing on a wall. Then she turned and jumped down. Slowly she went straight out and thus moved further away from Seto and Mokuba.
"Did you hear that?" Kaiba noticed. He quickly looked around and saw only the long hair disappear behind the wall. "Well, wait ... I'll get it," he hissed and immediately ran over there. He overran the wall within a few seconds and then he saw the figure in front of him. "Stand still," he called to this.
"Wait, Seto," Mokuba called, then ran after his brother and climbed over the wall. He also noticed the person and immediately recognized that behind the long hair there was a girl.
But she didn't move, she stopped for a moment, but didn't look back. Rather, she continued forward and crossed her arms.She didn't look back and then she went on.
A fog had appeared in front of her and it didn't scare her, Mokuba much more, the little one clung to Seto's pant leg and swallowed at the thought that the fog would soon come further back.
"Wait," Kaiba called again and put her arm around Mokuba's shoulders, but the girl had disappeared into the fog.
"Who was that?" Asked the black-haired one.
"Our enemy," Seto scoffed. For him she had been the enemy, a cowardly enemy, since she had simply disappeared and, in his eyes, had had before the confrontation. "Come on, we're going too," ordered the older man and set off with his brother into the fog, where he too disappeared.
