It was the next morning, the next, first, real day of school after that confusing school enrollment party. Tori had really slept in and made her mint tea by herself this morning; her mother slept longer and longer, and she also needed rest this morning. So take her for a walk around town. She didn't know why Uchiha Sasuke was turning her head so much.
Why did she take her breath away at the sight of him? Bringing time to a standstill. Suddenly the world seemed so intense to her. Why he touched her heart more than anything else in this dreary world.

With these thoughts Tori unconsciously walked the streets of her environment. She didn't know where she was going, why she was going.She just needed time to herself, needed to calm down. "... otherwise I don't know how to survive this school day, this year.", she thought quietly to the end of her thoughts, and raised her head when she suddenly heard a rustling, a rustling that sounded different from that of the eternal cars in their otherwise quiet little town.
Tori had landed at the sea. One of the few nice things about this city was that it was by the sea, but the really nice places were a bit out of the way. But at the moment Tori didn't really care. A quiet little smile crept over her lips as she saw the steady, small waves as they finally hit the beach to break. Washed away to embark on a new journey.
At the sight of it, Tori felt a little better. As always when she looked at the sea ... how many memories she associated with it. A dreamy expression crept over her face. Here she had read her first Naruto manga, confessed her first love, seen her first death. She had a lot in common with the sea.
At the latter thought she looked up. She heard footsteps. Sideways from yourself. Funny, normally no people were walking around this time. Tori turned around ... in front of her was Noriko.

"What are you doing here? After your weakness attacks yesterday, you should actually stay at home."

As always, calm and matter-of-fact, Noriko stared coldly at the sea. Even colder than usual. Tori froze. Why was Noriko suddenly like this? When she suddenly realized that she still owed her teammate an answer, she quickly bowed her head and mumbled an excuse that she couldn't sleep. Noriko smiled weakly and did not reply. As always when Tori tried to lie to one of her friends, it didn't quite work. Most of them didn't see through it, but it was different with people who had already experienced a lot in life.Noriko was just that, albeit only since her parents' deaths. Tori knew that she came to sea a lot since then, which is why she shouldn't be surprised to find her here.
Although she hadn't known Noriko as long as, for example, Kisara or Yumiko, she still liked her very much despite her cold manner. Because she understood you even without words, she usually saw it in people's faces. So Tori didn't have to say anything today either. The two of them just stood still on the beach and stared at the waves, united in thought and yet separated.
Tori suddenly wished that this moment would be forever.

But suddenly the sun broke through the last clouds that had moved in front of it, the last clouds that were left of the night. Suddenly the water also reflected the sun.
Dark in the depths, mysterious on the surface and bright, radiant. Tori blinked at the picture.
Is that me?

Suddenly Noriko turned her head and looked one last time at the sea, with one of her rare smiles on her face. Tori enjoyed this sight and also looked at the water for the last time with a smile on her face.
My reflection. she smiled.

Noriko looked at her wordlessly. Whether she understood Tori's train of thought remained unclear. Then she took out a note and held it under Tori's nose.
"Here. We have to go to class."
Tori grinned. Suddenly she felt really relieved. The thought of ending up on the executive team with Noriko, for whatever reason, was nice and comforting. She would certainly need it, considering a certain black haired boy. Tori grinned at Noriko.
"Mh, you're right. Let's go."
With these words she turned away from the sea and headed for the school, the new school year. Whatever was in store for them.


The night went.
The sun was shining brighter and brighter and heralded the day.Somehow Tori was unusually awake this morning. The world beamed at her, and at Noriko's side she shone back. As if it were how the water appeared to her today as a reflection of herself, a reflection, a harbinger of this year.
