This destroyed him inside, as no one had destroyed the black organization until now. He had lost hope of ever being able to become himself again. That was why he had made this difficult decision to leave his beloved sandpit friend and go to the States to live with his parents.
They had got him a passport so that he could emigrate to America without any problems. Ran was shocked when she found out that he wanted to get away from her, she tried with all possible means to dissuade him. But all their attempts were in vain.

Her last hope that she still had was not to let go of him. But he broke away from her embrace so she had to fight not to cry. But when he whispered softly in her ear: "Ran e- I'm sorry, but it's best for you if I get on the plane now! You deserve something better than me!" to cry bitterly and shake her head violently. At the same time she said: "n- no that is not true!" She hoped to achieve that he would not leave her after all. However, when she looked into his empty eyes, in which there was only pain and despair, she involuntarily stepped back a little. He noticed this, had to smile sadly and said softly: "Now I've made it again ..." Ran looked at him desperately, several tears were still running down her cheeks.She knew that her Shinichi Kudô, her beloved detective, had now finally died. This fact broke her heart, she was unable to speak. Looked sad and desperate after little Conan Edogawa, who slowly disappeared into his gate.

Only when she heard that his plane had taken off did her body come to life again. Slowly she got up and staggered abandoned through the much too big airport. Her heart was broken, she felt left alone by whoever she gave her heart to. It hurt her, she didn't want to be without him, didn't want to imagine life without him. In desperation, she stumbled home, not even knowing that she was doing this.
When she got to her room, she took the small photo of two laughing high school students from her desk. And went to her bed, on which she sank sadly. She looked painfully at the picture, which showed her beloved detective smiling and with shining eyes. She had to think of his teaching, desperate eyes again. This gave her a cold shiver, she didn't know him that way, she didn't even know why he had become that way. This scared her the most, that there was something that had changed him so much. It hurt a lot when she thought of his last sight. At some point, however, she fell asleep from exhaustion, and her last thought was about her beloved detective.

Ran went to his villa every day, hoping it would all be a bad dream. But when she always found an empty house, she knew again that this was all the harsh reality that she encountered every day anew.
Half a year after it disappeared, she heard how a seedy organization had been exposed and destroyed. However, it was never said who had destroyed the organization.
Ran still knew who had uncovered and destroyed her, she waited for a call from him, but she waited in vain.He didn't answer, in any way. Ran despaired, she withdrew more and more into solitude.
Eri and Kogoro had noticed this too, they were very worried about their only daughter. They tried to talk to her again and again, but she was silent and said nothing to her parents.
Heiji, Kazuha, and Sonoko were also worried about their friend. Tried to talk to her, to give her other thoughts, but it didn't help. Ran remained silent and withdrew more and more.
Sonoko got angry, she often tried to call Shinichi, but only the mailbox was answered. Heiji asked Professor Agasa if he knew anything about Shinichi's remaining. But the old man had to disappoint him, he didn't know where Shinichi was either. Eri, on the other hand, tried to reach his parents, but the answering machine only answered them. Ran, however, did not notice any of this, she continued to go to his villa every day. Whatever the weather, nothing and no one could stop them.

Exactly a year after his disappearance, Ran had walked through Beika Park. She was weak, could barely stand on her feet. Her hair was tousled and her eyes were thick under the eyes. Her face, once so beautiful, had collapsed, she had lost weight rapidly, since she ate almost nothing. But she didn't care about any of this, her life no longer had any meaning. She just wanted to be with him, feel him enjoy his warmth. But he was gone and never came back.
When she thought about it she started crying again, she had reached the end, she knew it was over, knew that her last minutes had come. She just felt it, stopped, felt that she was getting weaker and weaker, felt how her legs sagged together and she moved forward a lot.
But instead of hitting the hard ground, she fell into the warm arms of a horrified person. When she was in the arms of this person, she said with her last strength, "Shi- Shinichi i- I love you ..." After these words, everything around her went black.Ran felt a pleasant warmth, she liked the feeling she wanted to lie there because she thought that she was in the afterlife. But when she suddenly noticed the typically sterile hospital smell, she suddenly opened her eyes.

She looked into worried and fearful eyes, she thought that these were her mother's eyes. However, she quickly realized that this was not true, since the eyes belonged to someone completely different. Her eyes widened at the sight of the person. But this quickly changed, so she gave the person a weak smile.
However, the person still looked at her with great concern. However, she didn't care, she put her hands on the person's cheeks, then gently pulled the person towards her. After this was done, she put her lips on the person's. At first she was surprised, but this quickly subsided. Both enjoyed the affectionate kiss. After they broke up again, Ran said in a weak voice: "I- I love you Shinichi Kudô!" the addressed smiled affectionately at her then he said: "I love you too, Ran Môri" Ran was happy, very happy even, but she was no longer aware of the feelings that were going crazy in her because she had fallen asleep.

Shinichi looked at her worried again, but then went out of the room to let her family and friends know. It took him a long time to do this because it wasn't easy to explain to everyone and reassure them. It cost him a lot of strength, and his nerves were now bare. After he had finally made it, he went back to her room. there he took a chair and sat down by her bed, he watched his angel as he breathed evenly.
At the same time his gaze became blurred, he felt a number of tears running down his cheeks. He had never cried before, no matter how bad it was for him, but to see her like that, not even the great Shinichi Kudo could stand.He cursed himself for leaving then.
He wanted her to be happy again, but instead, he had just tortured her even more. He looked at her sadly while he said quietly: "What have I done! I made the angel that I never wanted to see cry cry!" He couldn't stop crying, it was too difficult for him to see her like that. But he too was overcome by exhaustion, like a spider its victim. He fell asleep sadly next to his angel.

A few weeks later, he and his angel were cuddled together on the sofa in Villa Kudo. Suddenly Ran said sadly: "Shinichi please never leave me alone! E- it was hell for me without you!" The addressed looked at her sadly and worried. He didn't want her to suffer because of him again.
He thought at the moment when she fell into his arms. He had seen right away that if he didn't do something right away, she would die. Shinichi's eyes glazed over again, he couldn't bear the thought that she nearly died because of his stupid decision. Ran noticed this she looked at him startled. Since she didn't know him like that, she asked worried: "Shi- Shinichi what about you?"
The person addressed looked at her in surprise, then shook his head and said softly: "I- I have nothing ..." Ran didn't believe him that she felt that it caused him some grief. She wanted to help him so she said: "Shinichi, I see that you have something! Tell me, please! I don't know you so much ..." Shinichi looked at her sadly for a moment, then said: "Because of my stupid decision you were almost ..." he couldn't manage to finish speaking.
He looked sadly at the blanket in which they were cuddled.
Ran looked at him lovingly, she took his face in her hands, then she gently pulled his face towards hers and kissed him lovingly. Shinichi enjoyed this kiss even if he was still feeling bad. After they broke up again, Ran said: "Everything went well again!I'm fine again! "She looked at him sadly, clung to his top and then continued:" II - I can't stand it when I see you like that! "Shinichi looked at her concerned, he had already managed to make her sad again.
Yet he never wanted to do that again. He pulled her closer to him and held her tight, then he said quietly: "Ran please don't be sad anymore, I just can't stand to see you sad! Besides, I promise you will never leave you alone again!" Ran smiled at him happy after these words. she snuggled up to her beloved detective and soon fell asleep happily. Shinichi looked at her with a satisfied smile, but then fell asleep shortly afterwards.
