Butterfly (MMFF)
couldn't run fast enough.
"The sisters" Misha pulled away from her grip. "He's after the sisters"
"And" ruled Anna. "We have to warn you" Misha said determinedly and ran back to the turn to the sleeping places of the maids. Anna considered for a moment whether she should disappear alone, but followed her half-sister.
Melina startled, her sister sat upright in bed, a moth danced around the small candle in her room. "We should go," Ina said quietly, not taking her eyes off the moth.
"He's here" Melina jumped up. Her heart beat hard against her chest. She grabbed Ina and pulled her out of bed. At that moment the door was thrown open and one of the daughters of the house was standing in the room. Melina looked at Misha in surprise.
"We have to go," gasped Misha and a breathless Anna appeared next to her. "Out of the window" said the maid. She looked back to where the crow man was slowly walking down the hall. Anna closed the door, put the bolt forward, even though she knew how useless it was against this demon. She shooed the girls outside through the window and together they ran across the dark meadow.
The crowman pushed the door open as if it weren't locked and looked around the room with a smile. He plucked one of the white hairs from the pillow and stuck out his tongue. His gaze fell on the moth, which was still circling the flame. He took a step towards him, but the moth disappeared into the candle and burned itself. The flames broke out and suddenly the entire room burned, all around the crowman. The Crow Man shook his head in amusement. "Fool" he hissed and stepped unmoved through the flames. He looked out of the window, where he watched with amusement as the four girls tried to get away from him. "Doves, oh so young, oh so stupid, so be it" he said calmly and at a wink the woods around the girls came to life and countless crows with pointed beaks came down on the four girls.
Melina covered Ina with her body while Anna buried Misha under her. Both stared at each other, enduring the screeching over their bodies, the pointed beaks in their backs pecking at them. Anna started screaming when someone roughly pulled her from Misha. The crow man licked and let go of Misha, kicked the whimpering Melina off Ina and grabbed the trembling little girl. "Dove, don't take it personally, it's not against you," he said with a smile and drew his blade. Melina began to hit him, tug at him, but nothing helped. Anna grabbed a massive branch from the ground and hit his back, but he didn't let go. Ina didn't even fidget, she just looked into the black eyes and waited. But suddenly both Melina, Ina and Anna were thrown to the ground with the crowman. Melina reached out for Ina and held her in her arms in unconscious fear. Anna looked disturbed at the two fighters who were rolling on the floor.
With a scream of rage, the crow man struck his claws in the chest of the young man, who a few hours ago thanked him for the thin soup that Melina handed him. The crow man got up and sighed in annoyance. He looked east and sighed again. Then he looked at the four girls crouched close together in the grass and stared at him.
The stranger no longer moved. "What a pity, what a pain," he said, suffering. "That time is running out" He sighed and bowed, standing up in front of them and pointing his finger at them. "Until we meet again, my doves" The first rays of the sun fell on him and he lost shape. Dark fog hit the four girls. Melina gave a sharp scream.
When they opened their eyes again, there was no trace of the crow. Melina got up first, she came up to Sam on shaky legs, she turned his body onto his back. His entire chest was torn. Melina pressed her hand to her mouth and quickly disappeared from the corpse. She grabbed Ina and thoughtlessly wanted to march towards her home courtyard. "Where are you going?" She caught up with Anna's voice.Melina stopped and looked at Obig's maid. "We should stay together" said Anna resolutely and grabbed Misha, who was still in shock. "And get out of here as soon as possible." She looked at the burning manor. "Before the crow comes back" Melina nodded. She took her sister by the hand and together they followed Anna. Ina turned to Sam's corpse with an unreadable smile, the others hadn't noticed the little hay butterfly that had settled on Sam's torn chest. The four young women disappeared towards the main street. The little butterfly sat quietly on Sam's chest and slowly the wounds closed.
So that was it for the time being from Butterfly. I'm slowly coming back. Unfortunately, my husband's father has now also passed away. Less than two months after my father died. It seems that our marriage really doesn't seem to be a lucky star. But it will always go on ...
