Liebe des Schicksals

Chapter 2.

Chapter 2.

It has now been three years since Nefeteri was born and Atem and Nefeteri get on better and better. At the age of four, Atem received martial arts lessons from his father Amenophis, while Nefeteri was taught sorcery and magic by a high priest. After the lessons for the two children are over, there is something to eat for everyone and after that there is no time to think about free time for Atem and Nefeteri. Because the two pharaohs children also receive lessons in reading, writing and arithmetic in addition to the lessons in martial arts and magic, because their parents want the two to become very clever children when they later ascend the throne. But after all that is done, Atem and Nefeteri still have enough time to play until they have to go to bed in the evening.

Breath and Nefeteri go into the opulent palace garden with their parents, the parents of the two sit on a bench made of the finest precious wood and watch their protégés play hide and seek together and catch, Breath is always faster than Nefeteri, which she does a little annoyed, accordingly she 'takes revenge' on her breath by, for example, splashing him wet with water from a beautiful fountain and then laughing at her breath over and over again jokingly. After that he usually sulks and hides behind his father Amenophis, but he is never really offended. At his young age, breath takes the things that Nefeteri does to him with humor. Most of the time, however, he comes up with something to annoy Nefeteri back again. After all, he doesn't put up with everything from his little girlfriend and vice versa. Whenever parents see their children play like this and how happy and carefree they grow up, they are satisfied and just as happy as their two children.

Nefetari: "Hach, the two are so cute!"
Isis- Nefetari: "Yes, that's true and how quickly they grow up, it's almost frightening!"Tuthmosis: "You are both right about that and when they are first in their teens, I hardly want to think about how quickly they will have to grow up in a few years."

Amenophis: "Right, but I think when they are teenagers they will love each other very much, as well as they understand each other."

Nefetari: "I think so too, and Nefeteri will especially love breath, he already gets jealous sometimes when other boys of his age look at Nefeteri."

Isis- Nefetari: "Oh really, ... I haven't even noticed that!"
Nefetari: "Yes, that's actually true!"
Isis- Nefetari: "How cute! Then breath will always protect you!"

Tuthmosis: "He will definitely do that, actually one is amazed at how mature our two protégés are already."
Amenophis: "That is true, but it is also no wonder, that is how every royal child feels who grows up in palaces."

Nefetari: "This is our life in Egypt!"
Isis-Nefetari: "Exactly, children who live in the royal family usually have to grow up faster than they would like."

Tuthmosis: "But it's about time for Atem and Nefeteri to go to their beds, it's getting late and the sun is already going down."

The parents call their children to them, who are also there immediately and are taken in their arms. Breath and Nefeteri yawn and rub their eyes with tiredness at the same time and they almost fall asleep in their parents' arms. Amenophis and Isis-Nefetari put their son to bed and carefully cover him up, just like Tuthmosis and his Nefetari lay their daughter in bed and carefully cover him. When that is all done, both parents give their children another gentle kiss on the forehead until the parents go to bed themselves.
