Pain.
Every single bone in Akane's body ached. Slowly she opened her eyes // Where the hell am I and why am I in such pain? //
She tried to sit up // ouch ouch ouch. That was probably nothing with the touchdown //.
Her face contorted with pain, she slumped back into her pillow. Only now did she notice that her left arm was in a cast. With her right hand she felt a few scratches on her face.
//What happened?//

Suddenly she realized where she was // In the hospital. I am in a hospital. OOhh my god how did I get here? //
Only now did she notice the regular beeping, which clearly came from her right side, but when she turned her head to the right, which was painful enough, she caught her breath.

Ranma lay there and he was connected to various devices which clearly emitted this beeping sound. // Ranma, what just happened? // Those were her last thoughts before she slipped gently into the land of dreams.
