Chapter 2

The castle was brightly lit and the entrance area seemed huge. "The rooms are in the corridor on the right and in the corridor on the left. The large door in the middle leads to another large hall from which one can get to the living room but also to the kitchen and the dining room." Then Henry and Ayame went to their room. "Great, it couldn't have gone better." Rika said with irony in her voice and before Kazu could say that he wanted to go to a room with Ryo, Ryo had already packed Rikas and his things. "I share a room with Rika-lein." He smiled sweetly at her and went up to the corridor. “I still decide who to go to a room with.” She screamed after him irritably and he ran to the room. "But Rika-lein, why are you in such a bad mood."> Always this smile, I'm going to get crazy When she took her suitcase and went into the right room, he entered the room on the left. In front of him was a large double bed with small bedside tables on the side, and on the wall by the door was a larger closet with a mirror. “Let's see how it looks at Rika.” Meanwhile, Rika had started to put her things in the closet and didn't notice that Ryo had sat down on her bed. “Looks just like mine.” She suddenly winced and was now eyed by him in amazement. "Never sneak into my room again! Besides, who allowed you to come in anyway?" Her voice trembled slightly, but her words still sounded threatening. "Are you so scared when? So you know ..." He hadn't even spoken before she had already thrown something at his head. “Get out of my room!” She gave him an ice-cold look and immediately he was gone. > Somehow she looks really cute when she gets upset. He started to smile again and then noticed that he still had one of her folded things on his head. When he took it in hand he was amazed. It was a short night dress in red with white small flowers on it. > I didn't even know that my little Rika wore something like that Normally I would have gotten a headbutt, if not a slap, from her for such a comment Since it was already quite late, the moonlight shone on the water and the snow that was on the mountain peaks. “That's just beautiful.” Rika smiled and sat down on one of the small stones in the spring. "Oh Renamon, I miss you so much. Whenever I look at the moon I have to think of you." She said sadly and continued to look at the moon. It started to snow slightly, but that didn't bother her. "I miss Cyberdramon too ..." Ryo had reached the source and seemed to know exactly what was bothering Rika at that moment. "We'll see her again someday, I know." He managed to quietly and also looked at the moon. This time he left it at the two sentences and just looked at the moon in silence. Rika had meanwhile averted her gaze from the moon and looked at Ryo. This noticed her look and then it happened blue met purple. The two sank into each other's eyes, but then Rika quickly looked away again. "I hope you are right ..." she whispered, barely audible, but he understood her. There has never been such a harmony between the two as at this moment. "We should go back inside, it's getting colder and it's getting late." Rika just nodded and stepped carefully out of the spring.She wrapped the towel around and walked silently to her room next to Ryo. Shortly before her bedroom, she turned to him again briefly. "Thank you, Ryo." She whispered it again and entered her room. He smiled warmly after her and then got ready to go to sleep. Rika lay awake in her bed for a while and thought about that at the source. > Why was he there all of a sudden? It could have been anyone, just not him ... why did I enjoy his presence so much at that moment? I can handle everything on my own The next morning, however, Rika was just the same again. She couldn't allow herself to show her weak side in front of Ryo again, let alone in front of the others. When she was about to go into the bathroom, a freshly showered Ryo opened the door, who was only clad with a towel around his waist. In contrast to Rika, he wasn't embarrassed about the situation, because the expression on her face just made him grin. He saw her looking him up and down and that only made his grin wider. Now Rika noticed that she was already staring at Ryo and quickly walked past him into the bathroom. > Why does he get me so confused? She leaned against the inside of the door and thought for a moment and immediately put the thought that she had fallen in love with him out of her head. She took her extra time in the bathroom in the hope that Ryo had already gone to breakfast and at least she didn't have to see him on the way to the dining room. Then she heard him call and she was relieved when he said that he would go ahead. Less than 5 minutes later she was finished and just changed quickly. For a change, she even left her hair open. But then she followed her roommate who, to her amazement, was waiting for her in front of the hall. She ignored him and entered the dining room, followed closely by Ryo.The two were the first to start breakfast, as the others were really grumpy in the morning and mostly slept late. The two talked a little and Ryo was surprised that she wasn't as rude to him as usual. Still, he didn't say a word about the last night he'd seen her so sad. Little by little the others arrived and the rest of the day was planned. Ayame and Jen persuaded Rika to drive with them into the city, which was a few kilometers east of the mountain on which the castle was located. Actually, Rika didn't think much of shopping, but it was better than seeing Ryo all day.
