Obscure Diary

her chin on her palm and looked dreamily out the window. "I'll go to the smokers' corner as long as I still have time.", She stood up smiling and waved to him briefly before she left. The addiction had made itself felt and she would hardly be able to survive until school without a cigarette or two. At least not without one or the other withdrawal symptom.

She sighed softly and pushed herself out through the crowd into the fresh air. The approaching autumn was already noticeable and Jamie shivered slightly in her blouse, the jacket that went with it hung cheerfully in her locker. With a little skill, she conjured a pack of cigarettes out of an almost invisible pocket in her skirt. She fished a cigarette out of the pack with her teeth and with her pointed fingers pulled out the cheap pink lighter that sat next to the cigarettes. In a matter of seconds she lit her cigarette and drove the warm smoke through her nostrils into the cold, hard world. Jamie stood apart from the other smokers, she didn't know what to do with these people.

In the student council's own room, the three representatives of the student body had gathered around a round table. Various flyers were scattered on the table top and there was already heated discussion. "We won't tolerate such an AG, will we?" Said William and took a sip of water. "I don't know, it would be interesting to find out what happens to that, don't you think?" Eric asked as he leaned back in the chair and thoughtfully stared at a hole in the air above William's head. "I can't really approve of this working group, but I think Eric is right. It would be really interesting to see what happens to it ...", Peter mused before putting his signature on the files.

After the bell had rang at the end of school and the majority of the students had already escaped, Emma closed her locker and strolled towards the exit. She stopped at the black board and looked at the colorful flyers more and more times. She quickly skimmed the offers and got stuck with the bottom flyers, these had only just been added and therefore still unknown to her. Her gaze caught on one of the flyers, a pretty pale yellow one. 'Society for daily correspondence' was written on the top in a squiggly font. She read the short text, embroidered with rare information, with interest. Without really knowing why, she signed the short list below, which already contained two names: Louis Smith and Paige Summers. The two names didn't mean a thing to her, however, which is why she sighed and put the pen away. It could be fun hanging out with strangers several afternoons a week.
