A clanking noise woke me that night, I lay there and listened to the silence. It was quiet and I wondered if I had not only imagined it, but then I heard noises again in the basement. I sat up, dressed quickly, and walked out of my room, to the stairs, and then down. The dining room was empty and the kitchen was completely untouched, I was just about to go back to bed when I noticed what was weird here. There was a draft, I looked at the window in the room, at first glance everything looked normal, but then I saw the small hole next to the window handle, the window was open. I took a few steps back and wanted to go to the phone in the kitchen, but suddenly I was thrown back. I hit a wall, everything was spinning around me, I was just about to scream when someone pressed my hand to my mouth.

"Shhhh, take it easy, be a dear girl" a deep and calm voice breathed into my ear, I tried in vain to get my hand off my mouth, but the man wouldn't let up. "Hey, it's fine, I won't hurt you if you don't scream" he pushed mic tighter against the wall "Got it?" I nodded slowly. He withdrew his hand from my mouth very slowly and deliberately. I stared into the darkness and only saw two red eyes staring at me "Hey, there is nobody else in the house!" said another voice and I winced.

"Mhmm .. she's scary!" stated the voice "She can't see us!" the deep voice replied "Well, poor man" said the other voice in a strange singsong "Deidara" hissed a third voice "Man, Hidan, what is it?" hissed Hidan, at least it was the voice of the said "Where is your mother and sister?" asked the calm voice of Itachi and I winced again. "I .." but for some reason I couldn't speak and just shook my head.

"Does that mean she doesn't want to tell us or she doesn't know!" Hidan asked and I heard a giggle that should come from Deidara "The second" my Itachi and got up. The floorboards creaked, I saw him move and pull something out, a cell phone as I suspected. He dialed a number and put the screen to his ear. "Hi, it's me. She's not here. But her daughter!" Itachi said into the phone. I tried to sit up. "Stay there!" he suddenly hissed at me. I froze in my movement and kept staring at those red eyes that gave me the only clue as to where he was. "No, not you, the girl," he said into the phone, "yes, ok then we'll bring her with us, we'll see you soon". He closed the cell phone and I was as good as blind again. "We should bring them with us!" he said monotonously and I felt myself being pulled up.

The next moment the light came on, I was blinded, like everyone else, apparently.But was grabbed from another side and pulled away. "Come!" breathed a too familiar voice to me. Mical, my best friend. I was relieved and ran after him. Through the hallway and through the door into the cool night, we ran, ran as fast as we could through the streets. I cursed myself for not having put on socks because the stinging cold could be felt on everyone. We ran into town which was only 5 minutes from me. I flew after Mical rather than running. He was fast, faster than he was allowed to be, I just didn't understand anything anymore. "Go away, did you hear!" he called me to throw me forward and I stumbled onto the main street, it was at 4 in the morning as I guessed and yet there was a lot of activity. It was the Christmas market, for some the night was not over yet, for others the day was just beginning. I stumbled through the crowd, Mical wasn't there anymore, nobody was there. I was alone. I stared into the crowd.


"Damn it, we'll never find her here!" curses Hidan "Let her go, we'll get her when we've taken her boyfriend" Itachi smiled and got into the car

I wandered through you streets, didn't know where to go, to the police and say that my family had disappeared that night. The guys got on that were damn strong and that my best friend had saved me and was now probably in their power? And not to forget the speed of my friend, God that wasn't possible. My cell phone rang, I paused and rummaged in my pocket "Hello?" I asked timidly into the receiver

> Mara? asked my mother's angry voice
> Mom? Mom me .. I don't know what happened .. I mean ... there were guys and > Quiet Mara, what kind of guys and where? <
> At home, they are gone and probably have Mical, I don't know
> Honey where are you? she asked
"Tedold Strasse 74" I said weakly
> Ok, stay there, I'll be there, ok? <
I just said 'YES'

Then she hung up, I stood by the street and looked around, there was no one to see. The street was empty and the morning fog lay on it, which is probably why I saw a black car too late that drove towards me and stopped right in front of me. I screamed as I was dragged inside, someone inside pressed my hand over my mouth "Drive!" someone shouted and the car gave GAs. I was pressed into the seat, but punched and kicked. Then I felt something cold grip my wrists and press me against the door. I opened my eyes and looked into Itachi's red one "Did you think we forgot you?" he whispered in my ear without taking the other hand from my mouth.
