Chapter 5: What Happened To Kazuki

Thanks for the picking. Still sick and unable to go to school, so here comes Chapter 5.



“We can sleep there or not.” Luffy and Kazuki went to the small cave and lay down.
Kazuki looked at the person lying next to her for a long time and thought a bit like Yuki, with these thoughts she fell asleep again.
"Wake up, Kazuki," she heard someone whisper in her ear. She opened her eyes immediately and looked into her not entirely unfamiliar face.
"What are you doing here?" she asked softly so that Luffy, who was still in the land of dreams, would not wake up. "I was looking. I found her." Suddenly Kazuki stood up "Where and when" "It's just a rumor. But you should be in Kimbuna," replied the person dressed in black. “Okay, I'm going there, will you come with me?” The person said no, Kazuki says “Is his ship already on its way here?” “They'll be docking in 5 minutes,” replies the person opposite. "Well then I can leave him alone." "Don't you want to give him the Bilbull card?" "If I should do that, then I always know where he is" so she took a small piece of paper from her pocket, tore a piece and put it in Luffy's pocket. She got up and went with the stranger to the rowing boat.
When they got there, Kazuki asked the other person "Don't you want to come with me?" He shook his head. He helped Kazuki to transport the boat into the water and went back to the island.
At sea everything was very calm and there was hardly a gust of wind.
If this continues I'll be in Kimbuna in three days. Hopefully Balthier is right. The rest of the day passed without incident.
During the night Kazuki went to sleep and had a confused dream. When she woke up she found that it was morning.
She knew that she had slept too long and now she had to hurry to get to Kimbuna on time.
She rowed as fast as she could. It had to be noon when she started to slow down and suddenly she spotted a naval ship, but she couldn't hide and she hoped they wouldn't be noticed.
"Who are you?" Kazuki suddenly heard a man calling from the ship. She didn't want to answer and the man repeated his question "Who are you? If you don't answer we assume you are a pirate and then we shoot you."
She still didn't answer and suddenly a cannonball flew onto her little boat. Your boat felt with water slowly flowing in. She knew she should run away now, but she didn't know where to go.
And suddenly a second cannonball came flying and brushed Kazuki's shoulder.
Then everything happened very quickly. She decided to jump into the water and only when she was in the water did she notice that it was a trap.She saw that there were two cranes on the naval ship and they started moving. A net became visible under her and there was no way to escape.
She also had no way of freezing time. So she only had the option to get caught.
On the boat of the ship:
"So, so, they to whom we have there. Kazuki. You have freed the straw hat. Are you finally showing feelings or why did you do that?"
Kazuki was silent when asked.
"So you don't want to talk. Good. Lock her up and guard her."

"Come on now, or should we hit you again?" the marines struggled to move Kazuki, let alone bring him into the cell.
* clap * and Kazuki had got a scrub again and started to bleed.
She realized that any resistance was pointless. She went with the marines to the prison cell.
"So now you can stay in here for now."
Shit now they have me. Well now I'll get to Kimbuna faster.
I'm really tired, I haven't noticed that in the last few hours, maybe I should sleep. Said and done.


"Why did you leave me?" asked the little girl. Kazuki couldn't answer. "Why did you leave me alone. Where is mother ???" Kazuki was still unable to answer the question, instead a tear ran down Kazuki's cheek. First one, then another and she started to cry. "Why am I alone." The little blond-haired girl asked further and very slowly Kazuki was able to answer "e ... I'm sorry ..." She wants to hug the little girl, but she runs into the apprenticeship. "No Yuki ...:" With these words she wakes up.
"So, so you slept. Who is this Yuki and why are you crying?"
Kazuki took a moment until she had sorted her thoughts and then replied, "That is none of your business" "If that is the case then there will be nothing to eat tonight." Said the naval captain and left Kazuki again.
She sat crying in a corner of the cell. Shit, I never wanted to cry again, I'm strong. But the thought only made her cry harder. She cried herself to sleep and when she was woken up in the morning by the sound of the cell door being opened, she noticed that she was hungry, which was no wonder she hadn't eaten for two days.
She gratefully accepted the marine's food and first devoured all of the food. When she finished she realized that she wasn't alone. The marine looked at her in horror and then said, "You're really hungry, aren't you?"
The dishes were taken away from her and she was alone again.
The rest of the day passed without incident.
They arrived at the naval headquarters that evening and Kazuki was eagerly awaited.
She was immediately taken to the quarters where a man waited for her who didn't look very friendly.He came up to her, very close to his ear and said, "So you've freed Monkey d. Luffy from Si di monter." He stepped back a little and then said a little louder, "Why? You got everything you wanted or not Kazuki? "
Kazuki looks at him with blank eyes, she knew exactly no matter whether she would say something or not, he would hit her. So she just decided to be silent. * Bang * the first sleep hit her where the marine had already hit her. There were tears in her eyes. “Now answer at last.” But Kazuki still didn't say anything. The man was getting angry. “Now speak at last.” Before Kazuki knew what she was doing, she spat the man in the face. This turned around and first wiped the spit from the cheek, then he turned around again and hit her as hard as he could in the face. Blood streamed from where he met her. "He's a serious criminal, he deserves to be killed. Did you have any help?" Kazuki still didn't answer his question. A marine came up and said something to the man.
When the marine had disappeared, the man said, "That'll teach you how to run away like that." And again he slapped her in the face. "Bring her to the others. She helped Straw Hat Luffy to swear so she must be one of them." She heard him say before it went black.
