Day 2: ~ crash course ~



"Morning, sleepyhead! Have you ever thought of getting up?"
"Hmmmm !!!", Raven nastily pushed his head into the pillow, his head growled.
"Stand up!"
"It's still dark ..."
"Yes, somehow it's dark around the clock in this world."
Axel sat grinning on the edge of the bed and leaned down to the white-blonde head of hair.

Axel presented a black stack of clothes and a pair of black sneakers: "Tadaa! It could be that things are a little too big, we couldn't have imagined that you were such a tiny man."
"And that's the club outfit, eh? I'll have to wear that from now on," Raven concluded.
"Right!", Axel smiled.
The blonde grabbed the clothes and paused.
"What?" Asked his counterpart.
"Is there a bathroom here somewhere?"
"Um, back there.", Axel pointed to a door that Raven hadn't even noticed. It led into a small, tiled room.
"Aha, chic!", The redhead heard the boy's voice.
While Raven disappeared into the bathroom, Axel lay down on his bed.
"And.", He chatted off: "How did your conversation with Xemnas go? I only heard something from Demyx, you are already real friends ..."

Axel laughed and stepped next to him: "Hey, you can fall flat on your face later, but let me explain your job to you first.After all, you won't be fed for free here! "

Together, the two Nobody entered the castle's kitchen, a cozy room with a kitchenette and a bar.
"You know where the fridge is!" Said Axel and sat down on a stool at the counter.
"Uh ... yes! I looked around here a little yesterday.", Raven explained and began to pick up a range of different foods. Finally he took a seat next to Axel and began to eat.
"Morning, Zexion! Lexaeus!" The redhead held up his hand as two figures entered the room.
Raven pushed the empty plate aside and turned on the stool. The first thing he noticed was the tall, brown-haired man. It was ... huge. Next to him a younger man came to a standstill.
"Hello!" She greeted Raven softly.
The brown-haired just looked at him in silence, nodded and sat down on a chair.
The other stayed in place. He was holding a book, the black pony falling over his right eye.
"Good morning.", He just said: "My name is Zexion."
"Ra-… um Nox!" Raven introduced himself.
The young man eyed him suspiciously: "Are you ... new here?"
"At least I don't voluntarily wear the piece!", The little one grinned and tugged at the robe, but the face of his interlocutor remained rigid.
Axel looked briefly at Raven's plate: "Well then, are you ready for your introduction?"
The little one beamed and jumped up: "I'm fit as a sneaker!"

"And that was it now?"
"Number six, Zexion and number five Lexaeus. They are both pretty calm and I think it's hard to get on my nerves.", Axel explained.
"Aha, ... why don't I have a number?", Raven followed the redhead through the corridors. He still had problems finding his way around the complex building.
"Didn't Xemnas give you any?" Asked Axel.

Axel just laughed: "Nox can't even walk a straight line without tripping over his own feet!"
Raven just grimaced and his gaze met Saix's again.What did he have against him now?
"Well then, you two!", Xigbar patted the boy on the back: "Have a nice day!"
Alxel nodded and pushed Raven, who was frozen like a hydrochloric acid, on: "Don't panic, everything is cool!"
Arriving before Saix, one thing became clear to the blonde, looks can kill, then he'd better start digging his grave.
"Saix, this is Nox, the new one! Nox, this is Saix, he is responsible for ensuring that we get and carry out our missions.", Axel introduced the two of them to each other.
There was silence for a few seconds, then the redhead continued with a clear throat: "Where should I take him?"

Without another word, Axel disappeared into darkness.

The first thing that happened to Raven as he stepped out of the portal into the square in front of the bell tower was relief. The bright, reddish light of the evening sun hit him with a sigh of relief. He had missed the light. In the world that never was there was constant night. A night without stars, with no sign of hope.
With a loud sigh, the boy stretched.
"Great, so let's start now?"
"Exactly!", Axel appeared next to him.
"Can I learn that too? About the portals?", Raven seemed enthusiastic about the dark gate and reached for the smoke, which slowly dissolved into air.
"Um, ... yes! But let's start with the basics first."
"Oooooooh, that's boring!"

They sat in silence until Raven jumped up: "Hey, no breaks! I want to do it now! Show me how you do it, Axel!"
As fast as he could the little one whizzed back down the tower, leaving a confused Axel behind.

His footsteps echoed on the walls as Raven stormed through the narrow streets. He was looking for a place to practice. Axel would help him somehow….
Speaking of Axel, where was the redhead anyway?
The boy stopped and looked back. The alley was empty.
"Axel? Hey, you lame sock, hurry up!" He called, but there was no answer.
Great, now he could wait here for nobody….
