The sun rose slowly. No one had noticed that Hikari had disappeared in the night.
The girls were just on their way to class. "Good morning" Yuki greeted the five immediately and introduced them to their room, mate Yori-chan. Ayumi always did so in Yuki's sewing
friendly, but as soon as she was gone she only complained about the girl. Hikari thought it was all too funny and started laughing. "You seem to be doing better," Yuna remarked. Hikari blushed and nodded. "did something happen that night?" Ayumi asked curiously. "No, what should have happened? I was just pretty exhausted," Hikari replied pleasantly and went to class.
Suddenly the gossip stopped and all eyes were on the five girls who were standing in front. The half vampires bowed in greeting and introduced themselves. Everyone found the five really interesting and questioned them. Of course, the five made up most of them so that no one would notice what they were. Then the private discussions continued. Each of the five, except Ayumi and Hikari, tried to find out who their secret crushes were. Ayumi tried to find out everything about Cain. Only Hikari got a little grumpy when some girls raved about Aido-Sempei too much. Without even noticing it, she broke her pen in two. Nobody noticed and Hikari was pretty happy about that.
When class began, the half-vampires almost fell asleep from boredom. It was all too easy for her. So they did other things.
Arisu started to draw something. She drew one of the Knight Class vampires. More precisely, it was drawn by Masahiro Saito. The boy she had fallen in love with.
Hikari tried to get her eyes used to the light better, since her senses were better now.
Ayumi was painting too. She painted several different animals and plants.
Reika had secretly taken a book with her that she was reading now. She was so lost in thought that she didn't even notice that the girl next to her was just chattering her.
Yuna just looked out the window and dreamed to herself. She enjoyed the fresh air and the chirping of birds that could be heard through the open window.
When the class finally ended, the girls decided to go to the coffee terrace and have a piece of cake in peace.
"Shall we go see the vampires tonight?" Arisu asked with his mouth full and swallowed the piece of cake. “Sure.” Only answered because the others were all eating. Arisu got up and looked at the others.


"I'll just go to the library and see if there are a few good books there" with these words she said goodbye and left.
When no one could see her anymore, she stopped and put a hand on her stomach. "What kind of a burn is that?" she thought and straightened up. Her eyes hurt too, but she didn't care now.She went to the library and studied one bookcase after the other. There were some she liked, so she sat down at one of the tables and started reading. But the quiet did not last that long. Because a bunch of girls ran after one of the Night Class screaming. The boy fled to the library and hid between the shelves. When the girls were gone, the vampire boy slowly came out of his hiding place. He hadn't noticed Arisu at first. But now his gaze fell on the girl who was staring at him. He was just waiting for her to start screaming, but Arisu just shrugged and read on. She tried to cover up that she had blushed. Masahiro went to the table and sat on the chair with a sigh. "Can I help you? I thought the Night Class shouldn't come here during the day," Arisu asked and put the book aside. "I had to discuss something with the principal and then the day class girls followed me," Masahiro explained. Arisu giggled. "Yes, people can get annoying," she giggled and got up to leave. The vampire looked at her, startled. When Arisu wanted to leave, he jumped up and wanted to go after her. "How do you mean?" he asked as he walked beside her. "Who knows, but maybe we'll see each other again tonight. Because I think the girls over there are looking for you," answered the blue-haired girl and pointed to the group of girls in front of her on the corner. "There he is!" yelled one of the girls, pointing to the boy. "He's with the new girl," yelled another indignantly. Arisu raised her arms reassuringly. "Don't worry, I just met him by chance and I won't take him away from you either" she lied and took a step to the side. Masahiro looked at her astonished, he grinned once and then had to run away. Arisu giggled and then went back to the others.
"How was it in the library? Did you meet someone?" Yuna asked in greeting. "No. When should I have met him?" Arisu asked, blushing slightly at the thought of Masahiro.


"Hey! Half vampire! The headmaster wants to speak to you!" said Zero. Hikari wrinkled his nose. "a little more respect for those in higher positions!" Hikari hissed and Reika nodded in agreement. Zero looked at the two in astonishment, but did not reply. Hikari passed him satisfied and Reika followed just as satisfied. The others giggled and went to the director too.
In front of the office Arisu knocked on the door and entered after the headmaster Cross had "come in". "You wanted to see us?" began Arisu. The principal stood up and looked at the five in a friendly manner. "Yes, exactly. Tomorrow night the Senate will come to visit. I guess he'll notice what you're up to, that's why I put him in the know about you," the director explained. "Do you mean the Senate. Ichio as he is called?" Reika asked, slightly startled. The principal nodded in agreement. "but no worry.He won't hurt you, "he reassured the girls.
The girls nodded and went outside again.


"It's getting late. Let's go to the gate where Night Class is about to be," Hikari suggested. The others nodded. Everyone worried they didn't know what the Senate was going to do. You could hear the screaming of the day class girls from afar. Hikari shook his head. "That we really do this all over again!" she giggled.
At that moment the gate opened and the Night Class students came out. The girls started screaming again as if there was no tomorrow. As always, Aido pulled off his show, but when he spotted Hikari, he stopped and studied her continuously. Hikari smiled at him and nodded. The blonde seemed relieved and continued to put on his show. Cain ran right next to him. Cain seemed rather annoyed that all the girls were screaming around like that. When he noticed that his cousin was looking at someone, he followed his gaze and spotted the half vampires. Immediately his gaze fell on Yuna, who then turned slightly red.
Masahiro also looked at the girls. He was still thinking about what she had said and was dying to know who she was.
Ayumi looked for Senri and saw him too. As always, he was out with Rima and didn't seem to notice her. Ayumi sighed and looked down sadly. Reika was also looking for a boy. Takuma was against the pure bloom and smiled friendly at the girls. By chance he looked directly at Reika and gave her a friendly smile. The girl immediately blushed and looked to the side.
"Shall we go back to the well?" Hikari asked when the Night Class was gone. The others agreed, so they went back to the well. "I guess we can't always come here together like that. How about if we always meet here" suggested Arisu and sat stretching on the edge of the fountain. Hikari became calm and looked at the floor. "Hikari? What's wrong?" Ayumi asked. Hikari looked up. "Oh, it's nothing," she assured her. Arisu got up. "I'll be right back. I just want to have a look!" she explained and disappeared. When the others could no longer see her, she doubled over in pain. Her eyes felt like they were on fire. "What's happening?" the girl whispered, panting. "What's wrong with you?" someone asked behind Arisu. The addressed turned around and looked into Masahiro's face. "Ma-sahiro-Sempei" gasped the girl. “What's wrong with you?” Masahiro sounded worried and looked at her that way too. "She's transforming," a calm voice could be heard. "Hikari? How do you know?" asked Arisu who had her voice under control. "For me it was exactly the same yesterday. You need blood Arisu now. Preferably that of a real vampire" explained the young girl. Arisu looked at her startled."What do you mean transform?" asked Masahiro. Hikari quickly explained the current situation to him.
"So if I got that right, she needs blood now. Preferably from a real vampire. Right?" the vampire boy asked and got a nod in response.
"Then she should drink my blood. Otherwise there is nobody here and I don't like to see her suffer," suggested the boy. Arisu shook her head in shock and Hikari realized that she was nervous about it. So the brown haired decided to go back to the others and leave Arisu and Masahiro alone. When Hikari was gone, Masahiro approached Arisu.
"You don't have to torture yourself, it's okay if you drink my blood. It's normal with vampires," he reassured her and took another step towards her. Now he was standing right in front of her. He took his hand to his neck and pecked his neck so that a few drops of blood oozed out. Arisu's eyes turned red at the smell and began to glow. Without hesitation, her arms were around his neck and she ran her tongue over the bleeding area. Then up to them and drank the vampire's blood with mighty swallow.
