After Naruto brought Gaara back home from the Akazukis, to Sunagakure, Gaara noticed how much the residents worried about him.
He was all uncomfortable because he wasn't used to it. He remembered when he was little.
His mother died giving him birth, his father was never really there for him, and then all of a sudden he sees the face of a little girl in front of him.
She leaned down to him and smiles at him. She puts her hand on his head and gives him a kiss on the forehead.

Outside the building
"Where's the kasekage?" Asks a ninja. "Upstairs in his office. What is it?"
"We just got good news from Konoha.", And he ran into the building and up to Gaara, who was standing outside on the balcony in front of his office and was still in thoughts.
The ninja stormed into the room. Gaara was torn from his thoughts.
"Master Kasekage ...", the ninja ran into the room, totally out of breath, "... We ... we have ... We got a message from Konoha."
"Yes, and what do you say?" Asked Gaara, who was now slowly walking into the room.
"Orochimaru should be dead!"


In Konoha

In Konoha a bit of normality has finally returned since Naruto was back. Naruto was strolling around the streets of Konoha. Since he was back he hasn't had the time to really look at the city again, which has changed in the meantime. It almost all looked exactly as Naruto had remembered. He met a few of the others on his way. You residents of Konoha have hardly recognized him again, he says that he has actually not changed that much. But apparently two and a half years make a difference.
He went to the big lake in the middle of Konoha. The lake was a wonderful place to just relax. Slowly he could see the lake and he was really happy. When he arrived, he sat down on the grass that formed a two-meter-wide outline around the lake. He looked from right to left and then wanted to lean back and look at the sky, but there was a lot of someone sitting about ten meters away from him and looking at the lake.
Naruto couldn't see her person properly and narrowed his eyes a bit, but it didn't help he couldn't see her. So he got up and went a little closer. It was a girl who bent her legs and put her arms on them. She lowered her head so far that you could only see half of it.
He went even closer to her, but very carefully, until he finally recognized her. It was Jenny, an old friend of his and he was now walking normally until he was only a meter away from her.
She sat there totally in thought and made a face like seven days of rain. Her eyes were on the water. The water reflected the light of the full moon."Hi, Jenny!" He said very carefully so as not to scare her.
She raised her head and turned to Naruto. Her eyes got bigger and bigger and a smile spreads across her mouth.
"Naruto!" She said, jumping up and running towards Naruto with open arms. She hugged him, very strongly and for a long time.
"Nice to see you again," and she broke the hug to look at him. "I think so too. And how is she doing?"
"Me, actually quite good. But you have grown up and hopefully stronger and more mature as well." and Naruto laughed.


In Suna

Gaara trains so that he can find his way back to his old form. After meeting the Akazukies and his near death (revived), his power, thus his chakra, is no longer the same as before. It is much more difficult for him to control the sand and most of the time he doesn't even get the simplest attack.
Today he trains with Kankuro and at the beginning everything seems to be going well, but suddenly Gaara collapses. He falls to the floor and you are just like blood running out of his mouth, onto the floor. Kankuro immediately runs to him and takes him to the hospital. But there they think they can't help him. The injuries would somehow not heal and they don't know how long Gaara would survive.
Nor do they know of anyone who could do this. Kankuro goes to Temarie and tells her the matter. Because he wants to ask for advice because he doesn't know what to do next.
A week has now passed and Gaara still hasn't woken up. The two suckle each other and look for a way out to save Gaara.
"Maybe, a lot ... ...", Temarie began. “Yes, what that?” “No.” And Temarie shakes her head. "What? Just say it.", Kankuro urges her. "I thought maybe Tsunade could help him, but ..." "But what?"
"I do not know."
"She would be the only one who could still help him, we can give it a try"
Temarie and Kankuro take Gaara and make their way to Konoha, where they want to ask Tsunade to help him.
