The attack began. A gray cloud of kunais flew towards them. Tenten reacted quickly. She drew her scroll and the next moment the opposing Kunais were repulsed by Tentens and flew uselessly to the side.
But instead of showing themselves, the enemy ninjas rolled a large wall towards them. One side made of fire, the other made of water. Hot steam in the middle. With excellent timing, the 4 jumped into the air. Neji saw Tenten desperately trying to escape the wall. She hadn't mastered the jump that had put the others out of danger. She screeched as Lee pushed her away and quickly jumped in the back.
But the wall of water caught his foot. Immediately he was carried away and pushed under the water. Nobody had time to react when he was freed from the water and crouched on the forest floor, coughing. His teammates were immediately with him and helped him up. He hadn't sustained any damage, but he was shaking pitifully. The icy water and the strong wind seemed to fit perfectly into the enemy's plan. Lee cursed and wanted to storm off when three hooded figures appeared from behind the bushes. But was held back by Tenten.
Meanwhile, she whispered softly thanks to him. Then she fixed her gaze on the figures. Apparently there were two women, one smaller and one the same size as the man she was standing next to. You could also see that the man was carrying a sword.
The tall woman stepped forward. "We'll let you go alive if you give us the part for Raikage," she said aloud and looked at them waiting. "How do they know about it?" Lee whispered so only his team could hear. "We don't know anything about a role for the Raikagen, we are here purely for training reasons," replied Gai with a strong voice and stepped forward as well.
"The boy just asked how we knew about the role. He betrayed you." She replied sharply. 'She heard it! 'That thought crossed the ninjas' minds while their opponent's eyes sparkled maliciously. "Well ... if you deny it, we'll probably have to kill you. Then we can get the information."
She slowly took off her cloak. The others did the same. Three muscular bodies emerged from below. The Konohas as well as the opponents prepared for a fight.
Nobody dared to say anything, because they were afraid the woman or all three of them might hear her. Then it started. The smaller girl apparently wanted to mess with Tenten. Kunais of all kinds, shruiken, chains, and other projectiles shot at the four.
Again the brunette reacted quickly and none of the weapons hit their target. That just seemed to have been a distraction because in the next moment the Kuneuchi was behind Tenten and involved them in a duel.
'This won't last Tenten long,' thought Lee worriedly.He wanted to rush to her help but the swordsman blocked his way as if he had read Lee's thoughts.
He attacked him immediately, leaving him no time to think. Hit right, stab from the front, blow from above, over and over again. Lee only evaded by reflex. The sword always whizzed past him by a hair.
In the next moment the heavy fighter hit a fist from behind. Lee couldn't get out of the way and was swept away by the guy.
"Look out, Neji," he yelled as he got up as quickly as possible. Neji didn't reply. He was drawn into a tough fight by the black-haired fighter.
Lee looked around. His sensei didn't really look like he needed help. But a little of it doesn't hurt.
With that in mind, he rushed into battle.
Tenten had great trouble with the girl. It seemed to know that Taijutsu wasn't exactly Tenten's forte. She kept coming closer and trying to force her to a duel, no matter how often Tenten jumped backwards and threw Kunais at her. Eventually the fight between the two girls turned into a long-range one.
Hundreds of kunais flew through the air. At the end of one of the attacks, the girl shot a single kunai. Far off. "You don't seem to be able to meet," Tenetne said arrogantly. "Oh yes?" replied the girl. Tenten turned around. The kunai flew straight towards their being-egg. "Senseii" she screamed.
Gai turned around. With that he only achieved that the kunai landed in his shoulder instead of in his heart. He hadn't seen it. "What the ..." he muttered, pulling it off his shoulder. Sharp pain spread. It was clear to him that this injury was very serious.
Blood literally spurted from the wound. His right arm was no longer usable. The moment of shock in which the Konoha ninjas stood rigid seemed like their death sentence.
It happened almost simultaneously. The little girl rammed a kunai into Tenten's stomach. She gasped and dropped to her knees. In the one second that she wasn't paying attention, the girl was with her. That's what she got out of it. She felt how she was getting weaker and the ground was getting closer. Then it turned black.
Lee wasn't doing any better either. He was finished off by the taller woman at the same time as his sensei. The woman beat the life out of them in quick succession. One last slap in the face and the two lay unconscious on the floor.
Neji had been prepared about the Byakugan. With the juken he had hit the only man of the adversary hard. But he was still standing.
Only now did Neji look around. His comrades and sensei lay lifeless on the floor. The three ninjas stood in front of him. Alone he had no chance against them.
Then he looked down at himself. Lots of small cuts and a large wound on the lower leg. Only now did he become aware of them. He felt the pain come up inside him.Neji managed to suppress a scream. A painful gasp came over his lips anyway.
The next moment the swordsman was with him. He put a hand around Neji's throat and squeezed. "Where's the roll," he hissed.
In response, Neji hit him in the stomach with full force and the last remaining chakra he could muster. The fighter spat blood. "You!" he growled and thrust his sword in Neji's side. This time Neji couldn't suppress the scream.
The man had let go of him and Neji sagged weakly to the ground and remained there. His vision was only blurred. The blood ran down his thigh and formed a pool. He felt his consciousness fade. Then he heard a rustle. 'Ninjas? Possibly from Kumo? That would be our salvation ... '

"Hey Kai, Rin? Did you hear that too? A scream from a boy!" "Yes we did" Rin stood up. "Let's see."
They carefully walked in the direction from which the scream had come. The smell of blood grew stronger. After a few yards they came to a clearing.
"There must have been a bad fight here," said Kai. "How do you get on it now" Ryu asked mockingly. "Don't argue, this is serious," Rin hissed in between.
Ryu looked around more closely. Four people were lying on the floor. Their attackers seemed to have searched the far. Two men lay side by side, a smaller one and a larger one, dressed in green rubber suits. Ryu thought it was very funny and started to laugh. "Ryu, quiet" her brother rebelled at her. "Ryu stihil" she mimicked him. One look from her sister was enough and both were silent.
Those lying on the ground appeared to be unconscious. A little further ahead was a girl. About Ryu's age. It was also unconscious.
A boy was leaning against a tree behind. He seemed still awake. "These are ninjas from Konoha," said Kai thoughtfully. "Why?" Ryu asked and couldn't look away from the blood. It reminded her of the day her parents were killed. She had been little, but she remembered the blood. The girl stumbled back.
"On the headband. You see," replied Kai, pointing to the boy. “The mark of Konoha Gakure.” “We must help them,” Rin ordered. "Ryu you take care of the boy, Kai you help me with the girl and the man. The green boy doesn't seem to be hurt that much."
Ryu slowly walked up to the boy. "He looks really good," she thought to herself and shook her head. 'I'm supposed to help him, not stare at him'. The blue-haired one went closer. "Hello do you hear me?" she asked.
The boy slowly opened his eyes and flinched when he looked into the critical face of the girl. "Don't worry, I just want to help you!" she said soothingly and saw how he relaxed again. She laid the boy on his back.
"I'm sorry but that has to be" she said and hit the injured person in the neck.He slumped unconscious. Now she could start healing.
