"Imagine I have a brain too," Lee growled. The 4 others watched with a grin. Everyone thought their part in the argument. "Oh really? Not that I noticed," Ryu replied mockingly.
Lee was at one hundred and eighty. This brat had managed to humiliate him and Seinsei with three comments. Lee couldn't take it any longer. 'let's see how well the little fights can' he thought and pounced on her.
"I don't want to fight you," said Ryu, skillfully avoiding a punch. Lee paused "Are you afraid, huh?" "Yeah right" "Ha!" "But only that I could hurt you" Lee got even angrier. 'Now something's going to happen,' he thought grimly and attacked her.
Rin wanted to get Ryu out of the fray, but Kai held her back. "Let me see ... I want to see how strong she is!" Rin looked at Gai asking questions. He also agreed. "Let's see if Lee can hold his own", he was also excited about the girl's abilities.
The fight was pretty even. Ryu was fighting like Lee at the moment, only with taijutsu. Both seemed equally fast, no one had the upper hand. The fighting strength of the other was tested in quick succession.
"I underestimated her," thought Lee as he dodged a side blow. Ryu also thought something similar.
When they faced each other, Ryu played a trump card. Your quick wittedness. She wanted to make him so angry that he could no longer concentrate on the fight.

Lee sat paralyzed. Defeated by a girl in Taijutsu ... just because he couldn't control his emotions. 'What will Sensei Gai think of me'
Ryu slowly approached the beaten taijutsu fighter. "I hope I didn't hurt you," she said scornfully turned around and went to her siblings.Gai was partly angry with the little brat, partly he admired her. She had beaten Lee without being particularly good at taijutsu. She had used her big mouth and found Lee's weak point.
Now she came up to her, when she was there she sat down next to her brother and clapped at him. She grinned and asked "what did I miss?"
"Not much we watched you" answered her Rin. “And was I good?” “If you had hit him without making him so angry, I would have said it was good.” Kai began, Ryu grimaced.
"But like that ... it was great," he patted her shoulder. "A good strategy to make your opponent angry if you can't beat him." At the first words Ryu seemed to grow, but at the end of the sentence her face darkened. "hey!" she complained and punched her brother in the shoulder.
"It's okay," he muttered after receiving a warning look from Rin. Lee, too, came trotting along with his head hanging. He sat down next to his sensei. Then Ryu did something no one expected.
She went to her rival, crouched down in front of him, and put a hand on his shoulder. "Fought well" Lee looked at Ryu smiled. “I'm sorry about earlier.” She grinned even wider, took her hand off his shoulder and held it out to him. "Friends?" she asked. Lee agreed. "Friends"
