Chapter one: reincarnation

"You obviously took your time, child." Said a man whose hair was burgundy red. His hair stuck out from his head in a mess; almost as if he had reached into an electrical outlet. He had a thin face with a haughty trait. In contrast, his pale complexion stood in stark contrast, which seemed to compete with the color of his hair for attention. When he opened his eyes, smoky gray eyes flashed.
The white-haired person turned around in surprise. At the same moment she wanted to get up and greet the gentleman properly, but the gray-eyed man waved it off: "Let it be, Ava."
"But Lord-" Ava began, her long, snow-white hair covering her face. "I said: Stop it, Ava.", The Lord interrupted her.
She lowered her eyelids in resignation. Ava was still sitting on her bed. The gentleman stood a little apart at her sickbed.
Remain silent. The white-haired woman first had to organize her thoughts. The lord broke the silence by remarking: "Liam woke up earlier like you. I wonder why that might be ...?" Was she wrong or had she not imagined the fine trace of ridicule in his tone?
Ava's head lifted abruptly. "Used to be like me? When?" She croaked hoarsely. "Ten years ago. You Ava, you took quite a lot of time by persevering for 19 years," replied the Lord, as if it were the most banal thing in the world. The distinctive, pitch-black eyes widened in disbelief.
"I beg your pardon?" She exclaimed, still perplexed. "You have already understood. Well, I'll be expecting you in the library in an hour and a half ..." said the lord and left Ava's room.
The old walls had always been extremely attractive to her. Despite its thick walls and bizarre construction, it did not look clunky, but radiated like its master, an aura that suggested a lot.
Ava quietly closed the door behind her and looked around the library, a little curious. Not much had changed in the past nineteen years. Except maybe that instead of the huge, disgusting spider Hans the First, the huge, disgusting spider Hans the Third was sitting up in the corner.
Was Liam already there?
She walked on, her expression slightly worried. She hadn't forgotten what he had said to her. Or rather screamed. At the moment she even thought she heard his voice telling her that she was solely to blame for Aoife's death. And he was right.
"Why so worried? They don't even know you like that.", Ava heard the deep, melodic voice of her master, as if wrapped in cotton wool, from far away. Immediately after the white-haired woman had processed the message, her pitch-black eyes flashed. Her facial expression changed from vague concern to a rather annoyed look on her face. Ava bowed a little stiffly and countered: "Lord Dorchadas, that was inappropriate! Tell me, where is Liam?Is he out of the house today? "
An almost wistful sigh could be heard on the part of the Lord. "If I only knew ... He disappeared without a trace after he woke up from his regeneration. That's why I have to talk to you Ava." The way the redhead pronounced the last sentence almost sounded like an insult.
Ava froze. He was gone ...? Disappeared…? Can't find it ...?
Her stomach knotted. Apparently the room temperature had dropped below zero within a few seconds because Ava was freezing. To warm herself, she threw her arms around her body, which was trembling miserably. "U-uhm ...", she began and then after a short pause continued more composed: "D-so I'm the only one left of the judges?" "Exactly.", The Lord confirmed and motioned for her to sit down. Ava obeyed. "But don't worry about Liam, he will be there when the time is right. But I have a request for you. Aoife's soul has been reborn. Find her." were listed.
The white-haired girl swallowed hard and didn't say anything. She had to process this information first. Aoife's soul was reborn ... A strange feeling germinated inside her. She couldn't quite describe it because it was somewhere between joy and fear. Only when she opened her slightly slanted eyes did she perceive the Lord's look of invitation.
Ava cleared her throat briefly and hurried to answer: "Yes, Lord Dorchadas. When should I start?" "Find the priestess Chelsa today and then go to the dimension gate early tomorrow morning. She knows," said the gray-eyed man announce. "You can go now.", He added as Ava sat motionless.
She looked up, slightly frightened, nodded in confusion, and fled the library.

Half an hour later, Ava was sitting in her room. She stared thoughtfully ahead. She was currently living in a room in the castle of the ruler of darkness. Your own property that was held in a mixed style of Japanese and European, currently uninhabited.
Lost in thought, she played with one of her strands of white hair.
Ava let her eyes wander through the melancholy and somewhat darker looking room and stayed on the desk. There was a box there, quite small and square, in a plain gray. As if magically drawn, she got up and walked towards it.
Finally she came to a stop. Ava reached out a hand for it and hesitated a moment.
However, she overcame and opened the gray box. Her breath literally caught her breath for a heartbeat. The amulet of Eolas lay in it, bedded on moss-green velvet.
Carefully she ran her fingertips over the blue sapphire. Under her touch the stone pulsed and once again she felt how powerful Eola's amulet was. The stone seemed to be alive and was tamed only with difficulty by the shackles that the setting imposed on it.Ancient magic ...
She lingered briefly in her statue-like posture, her gaze fixed on the amulet, but then she suddenly came back to reality and stowed the box in her cloak.

Arrived at the holy house, Ava was received discreetly by a minor priestess and brought to the blessing room. The whole time there was silence, because it was forbidden to speak to anyone while on the prayer aisles. And these ran through the entire holy house. The blessing room was almost in the heart of the building.
The priestess stopped at a door that led to the blessing room. In total there were three doors to get into the said room, namely the door of the Feabhas, the door of Eolas and the door of Amhras.
With a nod she dismissed the lower priestess and entered the blessing room after opening the door with her amulet. The door slammed shut behind her.
"Chiyo ... nice that you are finally here.", Ava was greeted by a woman with ebony black hair and eyes that look bright green. What I said sounded more like a-it-finally-about-time-you-know-I-hate-it-when-you-let-me-wait. The white-haired woman cocked her head and replied in amusement: “But Chelsa, you know that I haven't been named that way for a long time.” The answer to that was just a scornful snort, which she underlined with the following words: “I have everything Right to call you that, Chiyo. But we should start with the blessing. I want to finish work. "Her dark skin shimmered dull in the glow of the candles. Ava nodded in agreement and said, "Of course. We don't want you to have to work overtime." The mockery in her voice seemed almost palpable.
The priestess came up to her and stopped a hand's breadth away.
Ava didn't move an inch. Chelsa took Chiyo's face in her hands. The white-haired man's eyelids began to twitch. The priestess let her head sink towards Ava's and all one could hear was the murmur of Chelsa: "Srianta, seo anam. Lad a choinneáil ó dhochar. Shrianadh, uirthi. Chomh maith le solas agus dorchadas sa timthriall de síoraíocht. Srianta, seo anam. "
First Ava's senses blurred. She only perceived all of this as though through a veil. But then you became extremely aggravated. The white-haired woman felt how Chelsa's magic enveloped and flooded her. Like warm summer rain.
The big, thick candles flickered a little, as if a breeze had blown through the room. The smell of mild mold, moss and smoke filled the entire room, wafting around it like thick slime. All of a sudden the priestess let go of Ava. All of the spit suddenly evaporated.
The white-haired woman grimaced, slightly disgusted. An unseemly giggle escaped Chelsa.
For this she earned a bitter look from Ava. "You can't stop it, can you?", Ava hissed sullenly. The ebony-black hair of Chelsa bobbed almost in amusement when the priestess stifled the laugh.
Her black eyes sent out angry lightning bolts. With a jerk Ava turned and left the blessing room without saying goodbye.

The saying that Chelsa uses means something like: Protect this soul. Keep them from harm. As well as light and darkness in the cycle of eternity. Protect this soul.
I do not guarantee grammatical accuracy! :)
