Both the ninja from Oto and we Konoha-Nin looked in shock at the spot where Marine and Rin had just stood. The first life in Sensei was, he jumped to the edge and looked down. Contrary to our expectations, the opponents did not come to the aid of their kamaradin, but simply disappeared.
A stab in my heart, I remembered the Akatsukis ... my 'family'. The ones who always played something for me.
I shook off these thoughts indignantly, now it was first about coming down the mountain to help Rin. But what if Marine had already escaped with her? Kakashi-sensei jumped down quite low with one smooth leap and arrived at the foot of the mountain without being unbalanced. Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto and I exchanged a quick look before the first two mentioned led their chakra into their feet and ran down the mountain.
The blonde Chaos Ninja, however, stopped next to me and Onee-san.
"In principle, it's the same as walking on water. It's actually even easier because it's a solid surface. Try it, you can do it. This morning you actually managed it too."
I nodded and picked up Vulona-oneesan and briefly closed my eyes, then opened them again. Take a deep breath and then I gave it a try. I felt that Naruto was right behind me. He took my free hand and we almost walked down the hill. When we finally got down, we noticed that our team was already standing around them. Apparently Marine had failed to escape.
"Hey, what about you?" Naruto made himself felt from behind. Sakura turned around so we could see her frightened and pale face. We were also able to catch a glimpse of the two lying on the ground. They lay motionless on the floor and Kakashi-sensei crouched next to them.
Marine had platinum blonde hair that looked tousled. Her water blue eyes were closed and I could see a few abrasions on her skin. Most were only superficial, bleeding little or no more, but some were deeper. Rin was passed out, as was Marine. Like her almost kidnapper, she had closed her eyes and grimaced in pain. The pretty ruffled dress was dirty or even torn in some places and she had lost her bag. Her white skin was also adorned with numerous small and large wounds.
"We have to bring Rin back to the village and, ideally, the other girl too, we can't just leave her here. The two of them have to be treated." Sensei informed us. "That means the mission has failed.", Sasuke stated soberly.
The pink-haired one beamed at him and said, "You are sooo smart Sasuke-kun." hear what was ignored by him. I wondered what was so clever about it, but I thought it was better not to say anything.Instead, I turned to our sensei.
“Maybe that's not necessary.” Kakashi-sensei wasn't the only one looking at me wounded. My cheeks turned reddish, I didn't like it when people looked at me like that. Still, I tried not to be put off and continued, "Maybe I can help ... I can do a little something ... I think." Unfortunately, it didn't work out that well, so Onee-san took over.
"We have completed training to be an Iryou-nin, so it probably won't be necessary to abort the mission. Right, Nee-chan?"
"Mh." I confirmed with a nod.
The yo-nin raised an eyebrow but stepped back a little to give us some space. I crouched next to Marineâ € ™ s lifeless figure and Vulona stood on my right side. I closed my eyes in concentration and raised my hands, they were trembling slightly with excitement. It was the first time that I tried something like this on a person, Hidan didn't count, he was immortal after all.
I found myself wandering back into memories and losing my concentration. I hastily called myself to order and carefully placed my fingers on the chakra node. It wasn't long before I felt the chakra pulsing under my fingertips. I paused for a moment, then carefully directed some of my chakra into the network of the young Kunoichi. Onee-san caught my hesitant look and returned it. She supported her silent statement with a nudge on my arm. This little gesture gave me some security and I directed more of my chakra into the person in front of me. Sakura and Naruto watched in amazement as the scratches on Marine skin healed. After a few minutes I had done it and I let myself fall back a little.
When the blonde opened her eyes I was quite relieved, apparently I hadn't done anything wrong. Nobody had said anything, but we knew exactly that at that moment she read our thoughts, albeit involuntarily, and saw our distrust. With my eyes I watched her face grow darker and sadness overshadowed her eyes. Still swaying slightly, she got up, no one stopped her when she wanted to leave.
It was good that we weren't going to take her to Konoha because she would be punished for being an enemy. It was difficult enough for her now, after all, she was now alone, she had betrayed her comrades.
"Arigato." she muttered, and she was gone. Now I turned to Rin and repeated the procedure.
