The beginning

In the middle of July the trees were full of beautiful ones, the animals were just romping around and in the middle of them was a young elf lady who was listening to the sounds of the forest. She liked to go there so she could forget everything that was going on around her. But every time she came back to her city and kingdom, everyday life caught up with her. Her noble life began again as Princess of Aridon.
Slowly she made her way home again.
When she got to the dining room, her mother and father were already there, waiting impatiently for her. "Sorry I'm so late," she said as she went to her seat and sat down. "We've been waiting for you for a while, Sayuri!" He said to her and then clapped his hands. In no time many servants came up with food and served their food to each one of them. Sayuri got her favorite meal and that was what pleased her most. She ate slowly and enjoyed it. After a while, her father started to announce something. "I arranged a masquerade ball and to get to the point Sayuri, you should marry another prince!" Sayuri choked as she looked at him horrified and believed to have misheard. "Father you can't be serious," she uttered with a slight stutter. Her father got up and scowled at her. "Yes it is and there is no talk again!". She was petrified and no longer understood the world. "I'm going to my mother's room," she uttered softly. "Don't take it to heart darling.", Her mother mumbled softly and continued to eat. Sayuri looked at her and sighed. "You say that so easily mother ... didn't you see his face?" She asked softly and then sits down again. Her mother had seen it and yet she wanted to encourage her daughter a little. "You know how he is Sayuri, he says things that he doesn't hold." And again Sayuri sighed after hearing something like that. She looked at the plate in front of her. "Mother ... he was serious about the wedding! Very seriously actually!", She spoke to her mother again. Slowly she got up again and walked to the door. "I'm going to withdraw now, good night mother!" She uttered quietly and then left the room. Her mother just looked after her perplexed and didn't know how to help her child. She ran slowly up the stairs when she heard voices. She crept quietly to the room from which the noises came. She knew the voice very well and slowly she also heard what kind of voices it was. There were no voices, there were other loud ones and she hoped she was wrong about what she was thinking. Now she was standing in front of the room and dared to look through the crack in the door. Her eyes suddenly became bigger than before, what she was seeing she couldn't believe. Her own father cheated on her mother with the service market. She couldn't believe it. Slowly she walked back and came across a small table with a vase. Of course she tried to catch the vase but it was too late. You could only hear a loud clink. She was frightened and looked at the door. Her father could be heard asking angrily if his lover had heard that. Sayuri swallowed hard. She wanted to run away as quickly as possible but she couldn't, she just couldn't believe that her own father was doing that. Lost in thought, she did not notice that her father was coming to the door. He was shocked when he saw that it was his daughter and couldn't find any words until he had recovered after a few minutes. "Sayuri ... believe me ... I ...", her father began until Sayuri spoke in between. "What should I still believe you? You have fun with the official market ... you ..... you depress your wife ... you .. just resent me!", She shouted out loud and ran down the hall until she got to her room. Then she bolted the door and went to bed. Her anger at what her father had done was so great that she just hated him even more. After a while she fell asleep, but what she dreamed made her startle in the middle of the night. Slowly she touched her forehead and thought about what she was dreaming. Again and again she wondered what this dream meant. A boy who met her and changed her whole life. She got up carefully and left her room. Quietly, lost in thought, she crept through the hallways, not paying attention to where she was going. Suddenly she was standing in front of the front door and didn't just think about leaving. Her hand was already reaching for the doorknob when the thought occurred to her that her father would let him look for her everywhere. But she didn't care now. Quietly she makes her way outside and ran into the forest.
