Chapter 1: Pain


"Where am I?", These words were the only thing I could say as I looked around and saw the walls decorated with cherry blossoms.
When I took my hand I felt pain that I didn't know. This pain was like cutting my veins while I was handling my hand.
It hurts. It was so painful that a scream suddenly came out of my throat.
"What happened? Did she wake up?" - "No idea, during the last inspection she was still asleep." - "Let's go in."
Voices rang out.
Two were strangers to me, but one of the three voices sounded familiar. I tried to remember but couldn't.
Where am I? Why does this voice sound so familiar to me?

The door of the room opened and a couple of men and a boy came in.
The men were all in a monk's habit or armor but the boy was wearing a normal black shirt with knee-length white trousers, his hair was pitch black and his eyes were azure and piercing.
When I noticed that he was looking at me, I felt a slight blush on my face and quickly looked away.
The boy asked me: "Are you okay? Yui?" - "Yui ... is that my name? And who are you?" I asked in response.
"Chyaki" replied the confused looking boy.
Chy-a-ki ... what is that feeling? As if my soul wanted to tell me something ...
Now I know ... I know him from somewhere ...

The boy, Chyaki, looked hurt. "Why do I not remember anything?" I asked with a pained voice as my limbs were hurting. "Something or someone has erased your memories." - "Great, I've already noticed that." The black-haired man was still hurt: "After all, your character is still the same." - "You knew me before ... who am I?"
When these words came out of my mouth, the boy whispered with a tormented but at the same time depressive tone: "The reunion of Yin & Yang, the rebirth of the thousand dragons, the messengers of angels and demons and the strongest warrior in all of Yumogaki." - "Yumogaki? Are we here in Yumogaki? "
I asked, confused. Chyaki wondered: "Yes, why?" - "When my eyes went black I was still in Garogaki. Did you bring me here?" - "No ... You were lying in the nearby forest ..."
