Have fun with Chapter 3! ; D
______________________________________________________

I took a step forward and stepped into a warmly lit room. In front of me was a huge desk, full of papers and folders, all neatly on high piles, on the left and right on the walls there were many shelves, also with folders, files and other items important items were filled. On the left wall there were many photos that looked like family photos, on the right there were also photos, but these looked serious, probably they were important people or the predecessors of the Kazekage. Only now did my gaze fall on a red-haired boy, he was standing at the window, which stretched across the width of the room behind the desk, I looked at him in amazement, he didn't look older than 16, that surprised me, I was already traveled around a lot, but never before had a village gentleman been so young. But I didn't show my astonishment and took a step forward.
The boy turned to me and looked at me. Even if my appearance surprised him, he didn't let it show, any more than I did. Instead, went to his desk and sat down. He looked at the guard: "You can go." The guard looks puzzled: "But Lord, you ..". "She won't cause any problems and now go," said the boy coolly. The guard gave me one last doubtful look, then turned and closed the door behind him. I heard his steps echo in the hallway, listened to them and waited for them to subside.
Then I took one more step towards the boy and bowed slightly. When I looked at him again, his cold, emotionless eyes stared at me.
"What's your name?" He asked calmly, but not like the other idiots, but in a completely normal tone. "My name is Suki". He just nodded. "Gaara. And what do you want in my village?" He asked then.
“I would like to live here in Sunagakure for a while.” His eyes stared at me without any emotion while he was silent for a moment and studied me. Not like the guards had done, with eagerness and lust, he looked at me appraisingly and perhaps slightly curiously.
Then his gaze changed, he became dismissive. "I'm sorry, but you are a vampire and the safety of my village is paramount," he said finally blankly. As before, I had to suppress a sad sigh.
"I can understand your doubts, I know what I am. But there is no danger from me," I looked at him insistently and knew that my eyes were shining golden at him at that moment, but I couldn't do anything about it: "I am not like the other, I don't drink blood, not for a long time. I have the ability to survive without drinking blood. " These words had already been said many times and only very few had believed me and these few had got scared after a few weeks and sent me away again, a home?I hadn't had that in a long time.
He looked at me for a while, then started to speak again: "I think you can understand me. I can't just put my trust in you and hope that you speak the truth."
I nodded: "Of course not, I didn't expect anything else, Kazekage-sama. But give me a chance to prove that I am worthy of your trust".
"How can it be that you are not dependent on blood like the others?" He asked, I could briefly see a flash of slight curiosity in his otherwise empty eyes.
"I don't know for sure and neither did the others, it's probably my Kekkei-Genkai. When I decided to stop drinking blood, I was banished from my tribe and since then I've been moving from village to village," I replied him honestly.
"Why doesn't it keep you in a village for long?" He asked me slightly suspiciously. I could understand his suspicions, but that he asked me this and hadn't sent me away immediately was a good sign.
"People are afraid of me because of my appearance, because I'm different. Nobody knows me, they don't know how I really am and still judge me," I explained to him with a sad glint in my eyes. I looked deep into his, now I could clearly see something in them. Recognition? Could it be that he knew that? I was, through my keen senses and my long life, very good at seeing through the behavior of others, it was my sixth sense, so to speak, but this time I wasn't sure.
"Okay, you can stay for now, but I'll keep an eye on you," he said willingly.
He seemed to have reconsidered his opinion about me, maybe he had got a different impression of me from my honest answer or he just didn't want to judge me like the others. That he let me stay for the time being, however, had nothing to do with it, that was clear to me.
"Kankuro?" He called. The door opened and a tall, strongly built man came in. His face was painted with purple lines, which irritated me a bit at first, he had brown hair and seemed to be a bit older than the Kazekage. "Yes, brother?" He asked, ignoring me. I turned back to the Kazekage. ° brother? They are siblings .. they don't look alike at all °, I thought to myself. "Show our newcomer her new room, she will live here for the time being," he said calmly. Now Kankuro was looking at me after all, I could feel his gaze on my back, but I didn't turn to him. "Thank you, sir," I whispered, bowing slightly. He just nodded and gestured for me to leave. Kankuro had already gone into the hallway, I turned around and followed him.
On the way to my new room he stared at me the whole time, I didn't show anything, but it really annoyed me."Are you a ..-" he started after a few minutes, but I interrupted him before he could finish the sentence. "Yes I am". He was amazed but was silent, he seemed to have at least a little sensitivity.
After a few more minutes he stopped in front of a door and opened it for me. "Welcome to your new home," he laughed, and gave a cheeky little bow. I ignored his allusion and just nodded to him, then walked past him and entered my new 'home'.
It wasn't a particularly large room, but I liked it at first sight. The room was only dimly lit by a lamp to the right of the window, it bathed the room in warm yellow and orange light and made it look inviting. To the left of the window was a relatively large bed, made of yellow and matching the rest of the room so well. The walls were painted yellow and orange and the desk on the right wall was made of a beautiful pine wood, like the rest of the furnishings, a small wardrobe, a small chest of drawers and a small chair for the desk. All in all nothing special, but I loved it!
"The bathroom is two doors further to the left, are you hungry or something?", Kankuro's, now slightly uncertain voice, brought me back to reality. I shook my head slightly. "No, thanks, I don't need anything, thanks for showing me my room," I answered him.
"Okay, good night then", with these words he went out and closed the door behind him.

So that was chapter three. Until the next chapter; D.
