"What was going on all of a sudden?", Matsuri asked me when we were finally on the way to the Kazekageturm. I had taken her by surprise with my action and even now I didn't know how to explain all of this to her. I had wondered about my reaction myself, for a long time I hadn't been so insecure, almost panicked. My gaze was fixed on the floor as I considered how best to explain all of this to her. "I .. just felt uncomfortable and observed .. I'm sorry if you imagined the food differently." That was only half the story, I have no problem with being observed, after all, it was commonplace for me that everyone else's eyes were on me. But why should I burden her unnecessarily with my problems, maybe it was just a strange man who, just like everyone else, couldn't take his eyes off me and I owed the rest of my involvement. Sighing softly, my gaze wandered up to her. She just shook her head slightly. "It's not a problem, if you feel uncomfortable, we can eat something in the kitchen of the tower. That doesn't matter at all!" I gave her a grateful smile and looked down at the floor again. For a while we walked side by side in silence.
Then suddenly it was back. That feeling of being watched, the feeling of getting angry. I looked up slowly, my eyes darting around. Out of the corner of my eye I saw movement and then my eyes met again the now glowing red of the stranger. He was standing in a dark alley, his gaze was fixed on me and an aggressive grin graced his face. He pushed his lip up a little and sharp, pointy teeth emerged. ° No! ° It was a vampire without a doubt, but how could that be? How did you find me? Was he here by chance and also discovered me by accident? Or were there several here? Fear rose in me. I stared spellbound at his teeth, then my gaze wandered to his dangerously sparkling eyes. He looked like he wanted to pounce on me, but something was holding him back. I was standing in front of the street, unable to move, when something suddenly grabbed my right arm. Startled, I turned around and a low but threatening hiss slipped from my lips.
But in front of me there was only Matsuri, who stared at me in shock and stumbled back a step. I realized with horror what I had just done. "I didn't mean to! I was ... in my thoughts, I'm sorry." I looked at her, dismayed, saw how she tried to suppress the horror and forced a smile. "It's okay, I shouldn't have scared you like that, nothing happened," she said self-consciously. You could clearly see the shock, but I didn't say anything else. Instead, my gaze wandered back to the alley, where only a pair of glowing red eyes could be seen.Again I couldn't avert my gaze, now I also felt Matsuri's gaze on my back.

"Hey Matsuri!". Surprised, we both turned in the direction from which the call was coming. A blond boy came running up to us, he had crossed his arms behind his head and was beaming at us. With one last look into the alley, I noticed that the man had now completely disappeared. I didn't know whether this should calm me or worry me, but for the moment my attention was on the blond boy. "Hello, Naruto", Matsuri greeted him, now somewhat trapped again. "Gaara Sensei is already waiting for you! Where are the others?" "They should be there in a moment, they were too slow for me!" I caught a glimpse of his bright blue eyes, but then I looked quickly at the ground so he couldn't see my gold ones. "And who is that?" He asked after a while.
When Matsuri realized I didn't intend to answer, she did it for me. "This is Suki, she has been the Kazekage's guest since yesterday," she replied for me. "Oh! And why isn't she looking at me?" He asked intrusively.
"Because it's rude to stare at other people .. and I want to spare you that," I whispered softly. At the sound of my voice, he suddenly went very still and looked at me curiously. It took him a little to catch himself up, but then said: "Why should you stare at me? Do I look that good ?!" He laughed out loud: "And if that would not bother me at all!" he added. A quiet sigh slipped from me. "I didn't mean it that way either," but it was unavoidable anyway.
I slowly raised my eyes. Then sea blue met honey gold. I could see him holding her breath and after a short while poking her out sharply through his teeth. With a clearly louder sigh, I turned my gaze back to the floor. "..yes, thats exactly what I meant..". ° Always the same °.
I continued to sense that his gaze was on me. "Naruto!", A strange voice whistled rightly. “What are you staring at that girl?” Then there was a loud bang and outraged complaints from Naruto. "Hey! What was that supposed to mean? That was probably not necessary!". "Otherwise you would never have stopped looking at her like that! What was that supposed to mean?"
My gaze flickered briefly to the two, who glared at each other angrily, but the girl seemed to control the death gaze better, because shortly afterwards Naruto looked embarrassed at the floor.
"I'm sorry," he muttered. "Alright .. I'm used to that ..." I whispered softly. Why should I be angry, he was just like all other men. Shortly after I had uttered these words, I felt the girl's gaze resting on me, one word from me and all of her own resolutions were forgotten. I wondered how Matsuri managed to stay so normal in my presence.A quiet throat clearing made me look up again. Two more men had joined them, one black-haired who looked unhealthy and pale and one with gray hair, his face was almost completely covered by the scarf and headband.
"Hello Matsuri," the gray haired man greeted the girl next to me, who had been quietly watching the action until now. "Kakashi, nice to have you here", she indicated a small bow and continued: "How did your arrival go?" "No problems", Kakashi replied. "I'm glad," Matsuri replied with her typical smile on her face.
My eyes were on the gray-haired one, who was now also looking at me. He looked at me in silence for a while, then started to speak: "You look familiar, may I ask who you are?" to be immune to my charisma surprised me. Besides Gaara, he was already the second man within a short time.
"My name is Suki", I answer him, now my voice more firmly than before Naruto, who stared at me again. The pink-haired girl also continued to look at me, it was difficult to ignore her looks, but I succeeded quite well. "Suki ..", he seemed to think about it, for a short moment I thought he would recognize me, know about my clan, but then his expression changed. "No. I must have been wrong, nice to meet you, my name is Kakashi Hatake", he smiled apologetically at me, but still seemed to be brooding over something.
"Oh yeah!", The blonde spoke up again, apparently he had awakened from his stupor. "Matsuri, this is Sai, he's new to our team," he introduced the black-haired boy, who hadn't said a word yet. The person addressed waved briefly and put on a strange, artificial smile, but remained silent. He didn't have a lot of looks for me either. Matsuri smiled at him: "Welcome to Sunagakure!", She greeted him happily.
"We should be on our way and not keep Kazekage Gaara waiting any longer," Kakashi said again. "I almost forgot" grinned Matsuri: "We were just on the way back to the tower, let's go".
With these words she turned and walked towards the Kazekageturm.
I had to smile, I have never been treated so normally and it was just beautiful.
