Chapter: Getting to know each other better
My fourth chapter is finally finished! Personally, I think it's a little too short, but I would like to say in my defense that I have a lot on my mind at the moment and therefore didn't really have much time and since I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer, it has become shorter;)
I wish you a lot of fun anyway

Chapter 4
Unwanted and annoyed at the same time, I put on my uniform, went down the stairs, through the kitchen and even without saying a word, I left the house to wait for Mai
"Say May," I interrupted the uncomfortable silence that prevailed between and. "Do you believe in ghosts?" I didn't know exactly what made me ask her such a thing. "Hm, good question. But how do you get that?" she replied. "I .. I don't know, just like that." I stuttered. She took another bite of her lunch break, which illogically she always ate on the way to school, just so that she could come to me during the break and beg for money before she replied: "To be honest, yes." put it on and looked up at the sky. "I believe in ghosts because I find it comforting that you still have the people you love but you have lost with you. I think that they are something like guardian angels who constantly take care of you and the best for theirs Friends and family want. " she continued, her gaze now fixed straight ahead. I didn't really know what to say about it because I was least likely to have expected such an answer. I didn't know that Mai had such an opinion and it really made me think. Was it really like that? Is it true that the people we left are still around us? My gaze, which until now had rested quietly on Mai, wandered over the sidewalk onto the street. What actually seemed normal and taken for granted suddenly seemed so strange to me. The idea that there were things or beings among us that cannot be seen or touched made me shudder. Mai started to grin and looked at me with shining eyes. "What about you? Do you believe in ghosts?" "I'm .. not sure. I mean, is it normal that those who lived their lives and lost it are still here on earth? Although it would be kind of nice to have YOU with me ..." I said and stared at the floor. “You mean mom and dad… don't you ?!” I could see a certain undertone in her voice that kept me silent. Yes, she was right, again I thought of my parents. And again this peculiar dream appeared before my eyes. If it really is as Mai says, then that could also be the explanation for it. If my parents were really worried about me and therefore contacted me, then there must be some truth in this theory, right ?! But why, why were they worried about me?Should it really be Sasuke my father was talking about? Does Sasuke really want bad things for me? I had only known him since yesterday, so what was going to make him do it? But when I get to know more of him, maybe I can assess what and how he really thinks. Yes, now I was determined to find out more about this boy if I have to ask Tomoe's advice. Sure of victory and full of zest for action, I thought about how I should do it to get him to talk without him noticing what I was up to. It took me all the way to school until I finally got an idea. Mai, who hadn't opened her mouth since our talk about ghosts, stopped briefly in front of Tomoe, who was waiting for us in front of the gate as she did every day. "Hello you two," she greeted with a beaming smile. "Good morning" we replied. I didn't understand how Tomoe always managed to be so happy, I mean who's happy when he goes to school ?!
When the three of us walked into the right classroom, I noticed how nervous I was. I didn't show anything and just looked straight ahead. We stopped at the door. Mai peeked into the room a few times before she said with a big grin: "Well, I really have to agree with Tomoe! He looks so good!". "Why are you interested in boys at your age?" I grumbled while I turned around and just left the two of them standing outside. I sat down in silence, pulled out my English book and put it on the table. "Math" said Sasuke. "What?" I replied and stared at him quizzically. "We have math now."
"Oh .. Uh, that's right thanks," I said and took out my math notebook. I sat quietly on my chair and kept looking briefly at Sasuke, who was leaning in his chair like calm and watching what was happening in the classroom. Now Tomoe finally joined us and literally resolved the somewhat tense situation. "Good morning Sasuke-kun" she said with a smile on her face. "Tomorrow" was only returned coldly. There were still 5 minutes to the start of the class and since I really wanted to put my plan into practice, I was nervous and spoke up. "Tell me Tomoe," I started. "Do you have plans for today? If not, we could go for a drink or something." I finished my sentence hoping not to be disappointed by her. "Hm, no, I think I have time. Sasuke, what about you, don't you want to come too?" she asked as hoped and looked at Sasuke, who had now also become a little more attentive. "I don't know .." he started but before he could finish his sentence, Tomoe interrupted him again. "Oh come on, this will be fun! That way we can get to know everyone better." She said. In the meantime I just sat there and watched the conversation silently and hopefully at the same time. When I dared a quick look at Sasuke, he caught me with his black eyes. I returned the look uncertainly. It looked like he wanted to ask my permission, so I mumbled, barely understandable: "I .. I think it's always more fun with three people." All right, "he said, breaking up the silent conversation in our eyes.
Shortly afterwards, our math teacher Ms. Sato entered the room and began teaching.
