A month had passed and another big tournament was taking place. The Z-fighters decided to take part in order to have some fun again. Son Goku, on the other hand, took part for a different reason. He had had a strange feeling for about two weeks and when he saw a poster from the tournament, that feeling intensified, which is why he suggested taking part. However, he didn't tell anyone about it as he wasn't sure about it himself.
The friends met before registering and Videl made sure that the non-participants got good seats on a grandstand.
Son Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Son Goten had already registered and all that was missing was Trunks, who was filling out the form when suddenly a young black-haired girl was standing behind him. Son Goku eyed this girl closely and his uneasy feeling intensified. Was she a new threat? His train of thought was interrupted when he heard Trunks talking to her.
"Such a pretty girl shouldn't take part in a tournament like this. Something else will happen to you in the end."
Son Goku just shook his head. That was typical Trunks again. As soon as a pretty girl appeared, everything was forgotten. Unfortunately, his own son was the same.
"Trunks stop doing that and finally fill out the questionnaire," Vegeta yelled.
The unknown girl suddenly had to grin, but then walked past Trunks and also took a form to fill out, which she quickly did. Trunks looked at her a bit puzzled. With a smile and the words "See you later" she left.
Trunks finally filled out his form completely and then went out to eat with his family and friends.

The preliminary rounds finally began. One after the other, the participants had to hit a power meter. Somehow the friends were surprised that they did not abolish this stupid procedure, but it was certainly Mister Satan's fault.
This time, however, each had two attempts.
"Vegeta don't overdo it again," Piccolo warned the proud Sayajin. "It's good, calm down," he just replied.
Finally it was Son Goku's turn. With a light, skilful blow, he reached 205 points and thus waived the second attempt. Vegeta had actually pulled himself together and also only nudged the device lightly, but more strongly than Son Goku, after all, he couldn't be weaker than Kakarot. So he reached 210 points.
Piccolo got 190 points and Son Goten 200.
Now it was the turn of the unknown girl, since she had submitted her registration in front of Trunks. She went to the power meter and heard stupid comments from some men. "Hey, honey, what are you doing at a tournament like this. Be careful not to break your fingernail right away," she heard a laugh, whereupon another replied: "Oh nonsense, it probably won't even hit the device."Angrily, she glared at the two of them and then took a swing, where she met one of the men who made fun of her. This flew against the other man and together they flew against the next wall.
The stranger put on an innocent smile and said: "Oops, I'm sorry, but I'm just a girl who can't meet."
Son Goku and Piccolo looked seriously at the girl. She was strong, very strong, after all, after all, she had just knocked two not exactly slim men with one easy blow against the next wall. Vegeta, however, had to grin and the two boys looked more than surprised.
Now the moderator spoke up again and asked the stranger to make her second attempt. With a flick of the wrist, she scored 203 points. Then she disappeared again.
Finally it was Trunks' turn who, like his best friend, got 200 points.

An hour later, when everyone was wondering who this girl could be, the tournament finally started. As expected, everyone had qualified.

The numbers were quickly drawn and the fights were fixed:

Son Goths - Piccolo

Haley - Honda the Terrible

Son Goku - Trunks

Vegeta –Mister Satan

Mister Satan swallowed hard when he saw the result. Vegeta would never let him win. When Vegeta saw the expression on his face he had to grin. Actually, they had agreed to let Mister Satan win in order not to blow their cover, but in the next round he would fight Kakarot.
"Vegeta think about the deal," he admonished him immediately.
"I decide what I do Kakarot."
Son Goku shook his head. That couldn't go well. Then his gaze fell on the girl again. So her name is Haley. Somehow he looked familiar, but it never occurred to him that he had ever met a Haley.

The fighting could finally begin. Son Goten and Piccolo went into the ring, and you could tell that Son Goten didn't like fighting Piccolo right away.
Up in the stands he heard his mother cheering him on. His niece also waved to him vigorously. She was not allowed to attend because she was too young, which made her very sad. But then she smiled and then said I would just fire on my favorite uncle. That he was her only uncle didn't matter at that moment, he just thought it was cute of her.

Son Goku saw Haley look seriously at the stands. Something was very wrong with her.

Meanwhile the fight began in the ring. The two fighters fought a huge exchange of blows in which the audience couldn't keep up.
Son Goku saw that Haley could see everything exactly. Where did she come from?

Piccolo pushed Son Goten into the ring with full force, which broke it a little. It quickly became apparent that Piccolo had the upper hand, but Son Goten caught up quickly because he had not yet given his all.After a long fight, Son Goku's son won after all, but looked a little battered, so his father gave him a magic bean.
Next, Haley and Honda the Terrible competed against each other. Honda grinned confident of victory, but that didn't really bother Haley. Even his sayings, which made it clear what he thought of women fighting, did not disturb her.
The fight began and the two faced each other calmly. Honda broke the silence, however: "Because I'm a gentleman, I'll give you the chance to give up, after all, I don't want to hurt you."
Haley grinned, "You wouldn't even hit me if you threw your whole fat body at me."
"Instead of knocking on such slogans, you'd better give up and jump into my bed. I'll follow you as soon as I've won the tournament."
Haley glared at him, what was he doing?
Goku clenched his fists too. Why did this statement make him so angry?
"Go on attack or don't you dare?", Haley provoked her opponent, who then ran up to her and punched her fist in the direction of her face. However, she dodged skilfully, crouched, turned and took the floor from under his feet with one leg. Then she grabbed his leg and flung him out of the ring.
The audience looked astonished at the ring, which Haley immediately left.
As she walked past Son Goku, he held her arm and asked who she was. Briefly she looked him in the eye before she said that he had to earn the answer first. Those eyes, he just didn't know them so hateful. Again he wondered who she was, but let go of her.

In the next fight, Son Goku and Trunks competed against each other. Trunks wasn't at all comfortable with it, but his father said he shouldn't be such a weakling and be scared. Son Goku did not use all his strength. He wanted to test Trunks a little, see how strong he is and he found that he had made progress, even though he and his son had been pretty lazy lately and preferred to go out instead of training.
After some time, however, Son Goku defeated Vegeta's son and the last fight in the first round could begin.

Trembling with fear, Mister Satan walked into the ring. Why hadn't he just come up with an excuse? In the next few minutes his reputation and entire career would go down the drain. He didn't even want to think about the pain Vegeta was about to inflict on him.
Vegeta, on the other hand, couldn't help but grin.
Both now faced each other and the fight began. Vegeta attacked immediately and Mister Satan ran away as fast as he could. The audience looked surprised at Mister Satan and Videl raised his forehead in shame.
Since Mister Satan wasn't fast enough, Vegeta caught up with him quickly, grabbed his leg and turned him around the ring.The audience was stunned. What was wrong with the savior of the world? When Vegeta let go of him, he stumbled a bit in the ring because he was dizzy from the turns.
"Do you defend yourself sometimes?", Vegeta asked the reigning world champion. This saw the shocked audience and now stormed towards Vegeta. He hit him in the face with his fist, which then "threw" Vegeta out of the ring. The audience cheered while Vegeta went to the others and said to Son Goku he owed him another fight. Bulma, on the other hand, was speechless. She wouldn't have thought her Vegeta could do that.
