The girl and the wolf ...

* Kitaro’s view *
Gentle winds blew through the forest. I slowly opened my eyes and straightened up. There were trees, grasses and a small lake with a waterfall everywhere. I thought I heard something and turned around with a jerk. I felt something sharp against my throat and looked straight into bright emerald green eyes. The wind blew the girl's blonde hair around her narrow face and she slowly took the knife away from my throat. "Who are you?" I asked in her direction, but got no answer. The girl stood dearly and slowly looked to the right as if she was waiting for something. I was shocked when suddenly a wolf dashed out of the trees and raced straight at the girl. I was about to run towards her when the wolf ran just past her and she jumped elegantly and gracefully on his back in the middle of the movement. The wolf disappeared with the girl between the trees of the forest. Shocked, I stumbled back two steps and then slowly turned around and marched over to the lake. The water was crystal clear so that you could see to the bottom. I took off my shirt and jumped into the water to cool off from the shock. "The girl earlier looked very similar to Ayumi except for hair and eye color." I thought to myself and wondered where the others from the clearing were actually.

* Nuyen's point of view *

"I sneaked up on him very quietly and yet he discovered me ..." I got upset inside. Saen, my she-wolf, growled aghast and agitated that her brother Ruam had not come. But I didn't care. I liked Saen more than Ruam because she could be trusted with anything. I talked to her about this boy and wondered how he could have discovered me. He didn't know this dimension, that much was certain. Did he even know a dimension?
