Suddenly this vanished into thin air in front of her eyes and she knew she had to get away from here. She had spent too much time in this world and now it knew everything about Nuyen. She ran quickly through the high, swaying grass and suddenly a ravine opened in front of her. She stopped abruptly and gasped in fear. She took a few steps back before someone grabbed her wrist. She turned around and saw no one, so she turned back to the gorge when her lover was on the other side. She knew that couldn't be because he died trying to defend her.
She saw that a portal opened down in the gorge. Nuyen took a shaky breath and took a step towards the ravine, then let herself fall.
