The angel had shrunk to normal size and was holding a sword out to Don Alonso, "will you accept the duel with death or not?"The ghost hesitated a moment, but then took the sword and smiled, "I suppose."
A second later the blades of the two swords crossed and a fight began.
Nami watched the fight intently, she was curious how it would end.
Robin meanwhile looked around skeptically, why were they brought here?
Suddenly you heard a huge bang and next to the two fighting you saw a hole that got bigger and bigger.
Nami took a step forward and looked at the hole.
It looked like a huge swirl of snow. How could such a thing be possible?
Robin now looked back and could see into black nothing. There was nothing around them. Just black emptiness. They had to be on some kind of island that was surrounded by nothing.
And then she became painfully aware, "If Alonso does not defeat the angel before the island is swallowed, then we have lost."
Nami's eyes widened, that couldn't be true.
Robin crossed her arms and concentrated. But nothing happened, their devil powers were useless. It was up to Don Alonso alone.
It was only up to him now whether they won or not. Whether or not he and Soraya could be reunited.
Nami got really hot, she wanted to go home and not end up in a dark place.
But it looked like Don Alonso was inferior to the angel.
Each new blow from the angel brought the spirit closer to the abyss.
Robin couldn't see it, she got up and took a few steps forward.
The whirlpool of snow was now as wide as a person was long. And it turned faster and faster inside, so that its width grew quickly.
