Meik & Judi Sweet Home Hollywood
Kapitel 1
Chapter 1 The first encounter
The train rolled silently through the night. No deer or any other animal crossed his path. The sky was raven black and the stars sparkled. It seemed as if he wasn't there at all, he was moving forward so quietly and quietly. Thick steam rose from the chimney and snaked the wagons. The moonlight shone brightly through one of the train windows on a young woman, barely 20 years old, who was sitting all alone in her train compartment and was reading a book entitled: A Lama and a Poet, by Edward McCann. Her long blonde hair was braided in a braid and she wore reading glasses. Her eyes were a brilliant blue and her skin was blossom white. She was wearing a pink cardigan and blue jeans. She also wore a baggy pair of old trainers. The compartment in which she sat was empty except for her people. There weren't many people driving at night, but it wasn't their choice. She also thought that it didn't matter who someone would attack her on the train at night. She had been raped by a man in her youth and her life wasn't worth living anyway. That's why she tried to quit at the age of twelve, but her friend prevented it. So she didn't mind driving at night. She believed in destiny. And if God meant that her life should be over that night, then she would come to terms with it, just as she had already come to terms with a lot. It was already after midnight and she was so absorbed in her book that she didn't even notice when a figure stepped into her compartment. Only when the hooded figure cleared his throat loudly did she notice him. "Is there a free place here?" he asked, a little shyly, whispering softly and holding the brown scarf to his mouth. If she had known then how much pain he was going to inflict on her, she might not have done it, but the young woman nodded silently and watched the man sit down on a seat across from her. He wore a dark brown trench coat, a dark hat, his brown scarf, black gloves and black shoes, as well as black sunglasses, even though it was the middle of the night. The young woman now concentrated on her book again. Still, she thought about him sitting there staring at a photo. She knew him even if he didn't. He believed that she would have shown him long ago if she knew him, but firstly she did not want to show him immediately, and secondly she wanted to finish reading the last chapter of her book first. It could be that she would actually get to know the author, that he would recognize her even if it was so long ago, and that he would hold her in his arms, as he should have done all his life. Only when it was shortly before three did the woman close her book again. "Well, I have a few questions for you." The man, who had previously stared silently at a photo, looked up.“And who would be?” He looked into her bright blue eyes and as soon as he had looked closely at her, it was love at first sight for him. "First: Why is such a famous actor and a member of the Olsen-Parker family actually driving a train? And second: Why don't you sit in a wagon specially reserved for you?" The man took off his sunglasses, took off his hat, scarf and trench coat and put everything except the picture on the empty seat next to him. He had dark brown skin, short brown curly hair, and brown eyes. The woman looked at him, his big brown eyes shone and he smiled at her friendly. Then he cleared his throat. "So first: when I was little my family and I took the train very often and to this day I like it more than flying, and it was just a good idea. And second: I have a reserved compartment, but we are currently besieged by paparazzi . "The woman nodded understandably. She was surprised at his look. She didn't know him, had never seen him in a man's house when he talked to her, but was it because she had lived in Africa for the past two years after she ran away from France? He had tilted his head slightly and not only was his mouth smiling. It seemed to the young woman as if his eyes were smiling at her too. "Oh," she said after a while and nodded. "I understand, is understandable. These paparazzies can certainly be quite annoying, but after they have grown up in a famous family, they should slowly get used to it. Or maybe not?" The actor and singer Meik Parker ignored it . He continued to smile at her and only after he had stared at her for a few minutes did he say: "Now it's my turn again" and then he asked: "So you know that I am Meik Parker, but who are you?" "Judi" answered the young woman and put her book next to her on the seat. "Just Judi?" Meik asked and Judi nodded. "Just Judi" "OK just Judi. Where are you from?" Meik asked and looked at her with a look with which he would look at her more often. "I" she began. "" No, wait, I'll guess "" No, you don't have to, "Judi wanted to say, but before she could finish her sentence, Meik began to list the states of America." Alabama, "Judi shook her head." No. but "" California "" No, I "" Maryland "" Wait "" Now I have it: New Mexico "Judi looked at him speechless." Okay maybe not "he said when he saw her expression" "Um, maybe ... "Meik listed all the other states until he couldn't think of any more and he finally said:" Ok, I've never been good at geography. Tell me in which state did you grow up? "Judi smiled at him. "Blesle," she said. Meik stared at her in confusion. "But that sounds so French," he said after a while. "That's because I grew up in France for the first 15 years of my life, then I lived in Africa until I was 18 and now I live in New York" "So you just wanted to annoy me," he said with a broad grin and Judi smiled and shone again for many months."And why did you grow up in France? Are your parents French?" "No, actually they are American, but the story takes too long" "We have time," he said, but Judi shook her head. "I'll tell you what, if we see each other again for whatever reason at some point, then I'll tell you everything!" "I swear, sweetie, we'll see each other again!" Judi didn't answer. Meik sat down next to her and showed her the photo he was still holding in his hand. "This is my family," he said, showing her all of his family. His Parents, Siblings, Famous Sister-in-Law, Child Star Michelle Carter, and all of his nephews and nieces. "A real extended family," said Judi. Meik nodded. "It took hours for everyone to stand still long enough and for the photographer to take the photo. In the meantime, my sister Shane's amniotic sac has burst and that's why my niece Maja is the youngest person in this picture." Judi was happy and sad at the same time . "It must be nice to have such a big family" Meik nodded. "That's it" The two languages take a pretty long while over all sorts of things. Suddenly and without warning, Meik put an arm around Judi, leaned over and kissed her. Judi completely shocked, didn't know what to do. After the kiss she sat silently in her seat and did not say a word. At that moment the train stopped shaking. "I have to go," said Judi slowly and got up. When she was already at the door, Meik suddenly asked: "May I call you?" Judi turned around again and thought for a moment before she took a small card out of her jacket and gave it to Meik. Then Judi disappeared. The card said: a phone number and an address. Meik put the card in his pocket and smiled contentedly before he unpacked the picture of his family and his son and looked at it again. While Judi was walking towards the exit, she pulled a small medallion from under her shirt and held it tightly in her hand and thought of her little daughter, who she didn't know where she was or how she was doing.
