Chapter 1
Christopher Olsen-Parker, the President of Washington DC, attended a comprehensive school. His only daughter, Alexsandra, was just six years old and was about to start school. As a loving and above all very caring father, he let the shoe manager show him around the school.
Suddenly Christopher and the headmaster passed some lockers and at the sight of two eleven year old girls with brown curly hair and blue eyes he stopped. "Who are they two?" he asked and the headmaster stopped too. "Annabell and Rebecca" The headmaster looked at Christopher in amazement. "Is something wrong?" Christopher looked at the headmaster and said: "Is their mother's name Matilda?" the headmaster nodded but didn't know how the president asked him such a thing. At that moment a woman with long brown hair and bright blue eyes came into the school and called for Rebecca and Annabell. The two girls locked their lockers and went to their mother. "Matilda" said Christopher quietly and when the twins' mother saw him she left the house with her two daughters as quickly as possible. Christopher followed them without the three noticing. Matilda took the girls to a friend's house and then drove to a small, very shabby house. Christopher stayed in his car and wondered if he should go into his ex-girlfriend's house, but suddenly a man drove into the driveway in a silver-gray car and went into the house. Christopher stayed in the car for a while before he went into the house after about 20 minutes. When he entered the house with the broken shutters and the broken furnishings, he stopped immediately, frightened. Blood was smeared everywhere. He quickly called the police and the ambulance and then followed the trail of blood up to the upper floor. The man who had just gone into the house was standing in Matilda's bedroom with a knife in his hand. Matilda, however, sat in a corner and was covered in blood. The man did not see Christopher because he had his back to Chris, but Matilda saw Chris immediately. She glanced briefly at the man's knife and then motioned for Chris with her eyes that he should go. But Chris shook his head. Matilda's eyes became more and more hectic and suddenly the man turned around and at the same moment Chris knocked him out. Matilda tried to get up to see what had happened, but she collapsed immediately. Chris ran to her and took the now passed out Matilda in his arms and brought her down to where the ambulance and the police were already. "What happened?" asked the doctors and immediately began to revive Matilda. "There's a man upstairs in the bedroom. He's got a knife but he's passed out." The police officers immediately ran into the house armed and another drove off to pick up Rebecca and Annabell.
