Have fun while reading.

---------------

Sarina and Shin make their way through the unknown forest. Sarina has a strange feeling, but she doesn't dare to tell Shin. He'd just laugh at her anyway. The two go deeper into the forest. Suddenly you hear a rustle. Shin draws his sword and Sarina clings to him.
"Sari, let go of me." he hisses at her.
There is another rustling. A squirrel comes out of the bushes. Sarina exhales with relief.
"Sari, what's the matter with you today? You're so scared. You get scared at just a little rustling."
"Maybe it's because we are wanted and cannot trust anyone at the moment."
“Sari, I thought you trusted me?” Shin played indignantly.
“Shin, you are a baka.” Sari turns her head away, offended.
"Thanks, I know that, but what are you?"
“I'm a young woman.” Sarina still turned her head the other way. Shin starts laughing. Sari looks at him angrily.
“What's so weird?” Sarina is really mad at her best friend Shin.
"You said you were a young woman."
“So what?” Sari doesn't know what he means by that.
"You're not a woman. At most an annoying girl."
"You are such a baka. Is that the kind of lady you treat?" Shin just has to laugh more.
"A lady? I don't see a lady here. You?"
Sarina turns away, offended, and pretends not to talk to Shin for the rest of the day.
"What's going on? Have you swallowed your tongue?" When Sarina says nothing, he continues: "So that's how it is. The young lady doesn't talk to me anymore. It should be fine with me. Then I won't have to endure your squabbling. It's going to be a great day. "
The two brown-haired go on without exchanging a word. As the sun slowly goes down, they decide to set up camp for the night. Shin actually decides because Sarina still isn't talking to him.
"Are you going to look for the firewood? I'll set up the tent in the meantime or do you want to take over?"
Without saying a word, Sarina goes to the tent to unfold it.
Shin looks at her and says: "Well, then I'll go collect firewood and you put up the tent, but this time you should pitch the tent the right way round." Sarina can't help grinning at the thought. The last time she pitched the tent, she put the poles in the wrong way and then she thought she had destroyed the tent. When Shin came back he spent hours trying to untie the ball called the tent. But he didn't succeed, so they had to spend the night under the stars. The next day Shin had to buy a new tent and since then Sarina has not wanted to set up the tent.
This time she wants to prove to Shin that she has learned something and even set up the tent properly.Since she assumes that it will take longer before Shin is back, she wants to get the tent ready from the inside. That means: roll out the sleeping bags and stow the backpacks. Sarina's gaze lingers on Shin's rucksack. A string peeps out of the side. Sarina wants to pull her out when she notices that someone is coming in her direction.
"That'll be Shin." thinks Sarina and goes out of the tent. But it's not Shin coming through the trees. It's a black-haired man. Sarina is unsure what to do now. The strange man comes straight up to her. Sari's feet appear to be glued to the floor. She wants to run away, but her feet don't move a bit.
"Please, Shin, help me." she begs him in her mind. She is of course aware that he cannot hear her.
The man approaches Sari step by step. He is already very close. They are only separated by a few centimeters. The man reaches for his belt to draw his sword, which he has attached to the belt. He reaches back and wants to cut off Sarina's neck. Sarina is very rigid and begins to cry. Now the sword blade is getting closer and closer. Sari squints her eyes. It seems like forever before the blade hits her. After a few short seconds, in which she should have died, she slowly opens one eye. Shin stands in front of her. His sword, actually. He himself stands diagonally in front of her. The opponent's sword and Shin's sword are right in front of their noses. Now that Shin is back, she feels more secure and can move again. They carry their feet further away so that Shin can fight undisturbed. If she stopped, he would accidentally injure her. Sari suddenly notices a blond man from the other side who apparently belongs to the black-haired one. The blonde sneaks up on the fighting from behind. Sarina wants to warn Shin, but when she opens her mouth, not a word comes out. She tries to send him a message again in her mind. It had worked before. So why not now?
"Shin, behind you. Watch out." Sarina really hopes he heard her.
Indeed, he turns around and brushes the opponent's arm. It starts to bleed and the blond man holds his arm with his face contorted with pain where Shin hit him. He quickly takes flight. The other also flees into the forest. Shin just grins, puts his sword back and is about to turn to Sarina when he falls over. Sarina quickly runs to him and catches him before his head hits the ground.
Sari tries to pick it up and carry it to the tent, but it is too heavy for her. Sari can't just leave it lying there and tries to lift it again with all her might. This time she succeeds. She brings him to the tent as quickly as possible. She carefully places him on his sleeping bag and tries to find out if he's injured. She takes off his jacket and sweater. Shin doesn't seem injured. He's just exhausted. Just like Sarina. If it weren't for Shin, she wouldn't be alive now. Sari thinks about how she met him.

* Flashback *
Sarina and her brother were just shopping in the village. Sari should wait a moment for her brother to come back. When she got bored, she started walking down the street. She was in her thoughts right now and did not notice that she had run into someone. That someone was Shin. He looked at her and asked, “Why did you do that?” His voice sounded so sweet then.
“What do you mean?” Sarina looked at him in amazement.
"Why did you knock me over?"
"Oh, sorry. I didn't notice you. I was in thoughts. I'm Sarina. And who are you?"
"I'm Shin. May I say sari to you? Your name is so difficult for me."
"Ok. But only you can say sari." Sarina grinned at him and he grinned back.
Then Sarina's brother came and took her with him. As she left, she called to Shin: "We'll see each other again soon. Ok?" Shin nodded and waved until she disappeared around the corner.
* Flashback end *

Sari looks worriedly at Shin. Maybe he's hurt after all?
Sari is getting tired. Instead of lying in her sleeping bag, she lies down next to Shin and snuggles up close to him. At the moment she is far too afraid to sleep alone, even though they would be lying next to each other in the same tent. Samina doesn't want to spend this night alone in her sleeping bag. But before she falls asleep, her gaze falls again on the cord hanging from her backpack. She sits up and pulls the string out of her backpack. But that's not a string. It's a chain. But not just any chain, but the chain that Shin had received from Sarina for her birthday four years ago. Sarina thought he had lost the necklace a long time ago, but he still has it. She strokes Shin once on the cheek and lies down next to him again. After a while she fell asleep too.
