I opened my eyes. The sun blinded me and I automatically looked out the window. It was early morning. Today would be one of those days when nothing exciting happened. It wasn't always like this, I knew that. If it hadn't been so nice and warm, I would have jumped out of bed immediately and got ready for school. Because today Selphie wanted to pick me up and I didn't necessarily want to greet her in pajamas again. So I tortured myself out of bed with all my might and walked comfortably to my closet. "School uniform," I muttered as I turned the closet upside down until I remembered that I had put it on the chair last night. I laughed briefly at myself and finally got dressed. Then I went to the bathroom and continued to get ready.
Just as I was finishing my breakfast, the doorbell rang. I took my bag and went out to Selphie's. "Good morning, Kairi.", She greeted me. "Tidus and Wakka only have their ball game in their heads and don't want to come along," she complained. I looked at her apologetically. “Not today.
