"Even if I should go, don't cry for me!" Said the black-haired man without stopping. "Make me a promise, Nami."
Nami couldn't hold back the tears anymore. In response, she just nodded.
"
Live and don't think about tomorrow!I will still be in your hearts! I promise you! But you live on! Live your dream! Fulfill it!"
"I'll do it!" She promised through tears.
"Don't leave me, Luffy!" She cried. "I do love you!"
Nami felt a gentle kiss on her head and looked at her loved one with wet eyes. A faint grin met her.
"I love you too, Nami. Only I was always too cowardly to tell you.", Luffy sank back into the pillow.
"I'm glad we were able to sort it out.", The black-haired man smiled weakly.
The orange-haired kissed his hand. The tears ran inexorably.
"I'll wait for you, Nami!" Croaked Luffy and his voice died away.
"Luffy!" She shouted, choked as he took his last breath.
One heart less beat in this small room.
The
heartof the son, the leader of the revolution, stopped beating.
The
heartof the grandson, the Grand Admiral, stopped beating. The straw hat wearer's heart stopped beating.
The future pirate king's heart stopped beating.
The friend's heart stopped beating.
The captain's heart stopped beating.
The
heartof Monkey D. Luffy stopped beating.

"Remember the promise!" Admonished Zorro, who had stepped behind Nami.
"I can't take it anymore! I can't take it anymore! I want to see him! Without Luffy it's
coldand
desolate!" Howled the navigator.
"We should lead his dream to an end.", The green-haired man explained, while he looked out over the sea.
"I know," she agreed, holding the straw hat on her head so it wouldn't get swept away by the wind.
"You would have been a lovely couple."
Nami continued to stare at the infinite sea.
While her heart continued to tear.
But she was happy.
At the end of their trip, Nami was with Luffy and that was all that mattered.
