Fanfic: Ein neues Leben ?!
Chapter: 1st day of school!
We finally arrived in Tokyo, it really is a huge city. All the crowds that cross the street, the many cars in front of and behind us. Just unbelievable. It's definitely a lot like New York here. Only that we are in Japan and not in the USA. We are now a little outside of the turmoil. More so on the outskirts of the city, but not isolated. There are also great shops and a whole shopping center here. It's just not as busy as in the city center.
We turn into a small street with our jeep. All around are beautiful and creative houses, sometimes larger, sometimes smaller, with small and large gardens. They look really fantastic and also very habitable. But in spite of everything, I don't want to be here!
"This is our new home," says my dad happily and parks the car in front of our garage.
Our house is white with dark wooden beams. And these beams give a perfect contrast to the snow-white house. Looks really cozy and inviting, but not inviting enough to change my mind! My dad pulls the ignition key and gets out, humming happily. I do not believe it! We're moving to another city without knowing anyone here and they're as happy as they haven't been for a long time. Thinking about it makes me sad rather than happy. I mean we moved out of the house where I grew up and learned everything from speaking to running and from eating alone to riding bikes! Also in this house are all the memories of Mum who died in a car accident 4 years ago. She didn't deserve it at all, unfortunately she was just at the wrong time, in the wrong place. I just can't believe my dad is so happy about it! Just thinking about it would make me want to put a blanket over my head and hide for a long time.
Suddenly a voice that I can assign to my dad pulls me out of my mind.
"Come on! Get out now. I am sure that you will like this house. I am sure you will!"
I don't answer at all because I don't think he deserves any. I get out of the jeep, slam the door and make my way to the garden gate, where my dad is eagerly waiting for me.
"Come on, now you can finally see it from the inside. And it's already furnished. I hope you like your room.", He says and approaches a young lady, about his age.
Oh God! When I think through my head that my father has furnished my room, a chill runs down my spine. Because he has no idea about decorating, even my mum used to have to set the table by herself. He always put all kinds of plates and cutlery together. Really awful. And in his opinion, the colors dark green and pink also go together. And also many other color combinations that actually don't go together at all.But one question is always buzzing around in my head. Who is this woman my dad has such a lively conversation with? I go to her and my dad who are deep in conversation.
"Yes and thank you again for your help, Yuuka. Thank you very much," he says and bows to her.
"Oh, I loved doing that. I love decorating rooms. As you can see, it makes people extremely happy." She smiles at him and then looks at me. "You must be Akio's greatest treasure. Yumi, right?", She asks and continues to look at me.
"Yes, that's right. Nice to meet you," I say in a friendly manner and bow slightly.
“Nice to meet you too.” She smiles and nods her head slightly.
“You are probably wondering how I know this lovely woman.” He smiles softly. "She works here in Tokyo, she is now a work colleague of mine. When I was here to inquire about a job, I met her and we hit it off right away. My boss recommended her to me, so to speak. He said that we men should keep our hands off decorating and all these things. Well, I asked her very politely and she immediately agreed. And in your opinion, I have no idea about such things anyway. "
I grin. But not only because my dad has finally admitted that he has no idea about colors and designs, but because this woman somehow makes him happy.
All of a sudden I am gripped by pure curiosity. I really want to know what this nice and pretty woman made of my room. She has turned the living room into an oasis of well-being. It just looks fantastic. I just can't think of any other word.
"I hope you will like your room. Just go and have a look."
She has just finished the sentence and I'm already on my way to inspect my room. I run into the hallway, there are the stairs that should lead up to my room. I take two flights of stairs with one step so that I can get to my destination faster. Now I'm on the upper floor. My dad said the second door on the right. Ok, then I'll be on my way. A few steps and I stand in front of the supposed door and slowly open it. I close my eyes and enter. I close the door and open my eyes in a flash.
"Wow .." I say in astonishment.
The room is wonderful. It's neither too big nor too small. And it contains the most important things I need. That would be my desk with a lot of odds and ends on it. My laptop, my TV, shelves with all the photos of my family and friends on them. And finally my magical bed, I correct it. My magical water bed. I love this bed and now my room too. But there is one thing I miss and that is my messy bookshelf, which isn't messy because I'm sloppy, but because there are too many books for such a small shelf.Oh, I forgot to list one thing, which is also very, very important to me. My closet. Where hopefully all my things are already sorted. I don't feel like having to fold all my clothes neatly and then squeeze them into the small closet. The closet looks really small if you ask me. Is it enough for my collection ?!
After I was on the great balcony and let the summer air work on me, I make my way to the basement. So that I can say thank you, as a well-bred child should do. The way my dad and mum raised me.
When I close the door of my room and look down the hall, I notice that there must be four more rooms up here. I wonder what they look like.
"And how did you like it?" She asks, beaming with joy, as I strutted down the stairs.
And my dad also looks very interested and is curious about my answer.
"Wow .. It's gorgeous. Just beautiful." I tell them and my face is beaming. "Thank you so much, miss."
She laughs softly and her eyes shine. "It was my pleasure, but I can't shake the feeling that you haven't seen it all yet."
She smiles at me and says goodbye to me and my dad first.
"So and the two of us are going now too," says my dad, grabs the car keys and goes out to the car. I follow him like a good little lamb and we drive into town to do a few more errands there, because tomorrow is Sunday and we need something to eat too ..

After breakfast I retired to my room. And my little sister Ayumi came with me.
"Can you tell me another story?" She asks, looking at me with her beautiful brown eyes.
"No, sis. Sorry, but not now. I still have something to do for school. But if you want, you can stay here and ..."
I can't get any further with my sentence because she suddenly interrupts me.
"And watch you? Yeah really?", She calls happily across the room.
"Yes, if you want." I smile. I go to my desk and sit down, take out my homework and do it. But these are not particularly difficult. That's why I'm done after 45 minutes. I think it's cute how my little sister is happy just because she can watch me. The whole time she sat next to me on a chair and was very excited about all these math equations. When I'm done I close my notebook and my book.
"Yeah great. And now you can tell me another story, right?"she asks hopefully.
"Well, it'll be enough for a little story." I say and was about to start telling the story when suddenly my mum bursts into the room. I look at them. She looks totally scared and exhausted. Her hair is not neatly tied in a pigtail as usual, but wild strands hang over her face and her eyes are a bit red, as if she had just cried!
"Shiomi, we, I, everyone needs your help now !! - Ayumi, what are you doing here ?! Go to your room immediately, please!"
She walks slowly out of my room with a sad look.
"Okay, what's going on?" I ask curiously.
"Your brother .. He is .. He will .. Run into the forest and get fresh blood. Immediately! And hurry!", She yells and tears make their way down her face.
I am on my way immediately. When I run past my family, I can't see much. The only thing I can see is that my brother is lying on the floor, breathing heavily, and everyone else is around him. I run out of the house and storm towards the forest. In the beginning I have to run at normal speed. It is still light and it would be dangerous and insane to run at my vampire speed. So everyone could see me and that would definitely not be an advantage. The people must not know that we exist, they would want to chase us out of the city and exterminate us! Almost arrived at the forest, I used my vampire powers and look for prey. My brother is such a weakling, he doesn't even get by for two days without blood. We can usually live without it for up to four days, but that's the limit. One day longer and we'll die! And my oh-so-strong brother can't even take two days. Pah! I would love to laugh now - laugh at him!
I've already run a little into the forest and stop so that I can concentrate on the smells. A bird, a fox, ants, a beetle, a squirrel .. Exactly, I'll take the squirrel. I run at lightning speed to the place where I scented the squirrel and grab it. It has no chance at all, in general no animal has a chance against a vampire. It's a shame actually! Well ... I'll be on my way home as soon as possible. A normal person would have needed two hours for this journey, but a vampire needs just ten minutes for this journey. And because it's sho dark, I can run as fast as I can. I am actually wondering why I am doing this at all. I mean my family hates me and I hate them, so to speak. And then why do I run into the forest to fetch fresh blood for my oh-so-beloved brother, even though I least like him ?!
When I got home, my dad
