Hi Guys!
I'm new here and wanted to be the first to try a hands-on fanfiction. I still write on other pages and I'm bored there. Maybe one of you would like to be part of my new project. But before I talk to you to death, I'd rather explain what my join-in fanfiction is about.
You are all normal teenagers who go to the same boarding school together. This boarding school is located in England and specializes in people who have an "obscuritas" in them. Well, maybe you are not so normal after all ... Because the "obscuritas", which is Latin for "darkness", are beings of human form who have lived in people's subconscious for over thousands of years. Nowadays they are rather rare, which is why special boarding schools were set up for them, in which they learn to control these "obscuritas". But that's not as easy as it seems to some from the outside. Holding back an "obscuritas" is a tough fight that takes place in the subconscious and so cannot be seen from the outside. It takes a lot of strength and most of the people who try to fight it lose the fight. Therefore there are only a few adults who still have an "obscuritas" in them. Most lose and take their own life as a result.
That's roughly how I thought. Hopefully it has become understandable enough. But if that is not the case you can ask me questions that I try to answer as clearly as possible.
I think I should list some information about the "Obscuritas" to answer a few questions that you might already have in your head:
- They only nestle in people from the age of 12 to 16 and when they have completed their 21st year of life.
- They never die of old age, only when someone defeats them.
- They live in people's subconscious, you can imagine that like a city in which they live with each other.
- Their purpose was once to stand by the people in battle, but since people no longer go to war all the time, as was previously the case, they try to create chaos themselves.
- You swap, so to speak, the position with the person, in certain situations, mostly because of excessively negative emotions such as hate, sadness, anger, jealousy. But it has also happened before that they took the place of humans when they had positive feelings.
- Regardless of the person, the "obscuritas" lead a private life in their own world. They can fall in love like humans or have an aversion to other "obscuritas" and they make friends with others.
- If they take the place of humans, that means for humans that they must also take the place of their "obscuritas" and thus end up in their world.- In most cases, only male "obscuritas" inhabit male people and female "obscuritas" only inhabit female people. But it happened before that it was the other way around.
- During an exchange, the "obscuritas" take on the appearance of the person, even if they are of different sexes.
- An "obscuritas" can remain in the human world for a maximum of one day at a time. This is the case when the "obscuritas" is too powerful for humans.
- The "Obscuritas" cannot decide by itself when he wants to go back to his world.
- Reproduction works in the same way in "obscuritas" as in humans, only female "obscuritas" can become pregnant. But there is the difference that "obscuritas" can only give birth to one child at a time and there are no such things as twins or the like. In addition, pregnancy lasts three years, but they cannot lose their children in return. Either way, you are born.
- In the world of "obscuritas" there is no electricity or any kind of modern technology. You are taking something from the human world with you during your time there.
- You do not need very much or often food. They can get by for up to two weeks without drinking and only need something to eat every three months. Even so, many eat and drink weekly. But as soon as someone eats something every day, he is already considered eaten up.
- The "Obscuritas" have a king who rules alone. He is the oldest of the "obscuritas" and therefore also the most powerful. He supposedly also has a person like the others, but nobody knows who this person is.
- The "obscuritas" of adults, in contrast to the others, are nice and well-meaning. You don't often switch positions with your human anymore, but when you switch you help the person instead of causing them even more trouble.
- From the age of 18, they no longer age externally.
- As soon as the person of the "obscuritas" has died, he has to wait a year until he can inhabit a new person.
- People who have an "obscuritas" in themselves are often despised and hated by normal people.
