"DING DONG"
"Okay, the lesson is over!"
“Finally!” Ace slapped his hands over his face. I walked over to him and he was two rows behind me, which wasn't really bad. He had always been very restless in class and I could never concentrate when he was sitting near me.
"By the way! Wouldn't you like to go to the T.T. with me tonight?", He looked at me expectantly. "Um, yes okay." "Great! Then I'll pick you up today at 6 pm, is that possible?" "Yes, that should work." I thought about it for a moment, but I actually had nothing to do with it. Ace put his stuff in his pocket and got up. "Well then. I just want to go home now!" He sighed and went to the door. "Yes, me too." I said and followed him.

"Where are you going?", My mother looked skeptical. "To the T.T.! To the Tokyo Tower!" I rolled my eyes. "Oh well. Have fun then.", She said and turned back to the dishes. My jacket was already on the table, I put it on and left the house. Ace was waiting outside the door. “It's pretty cool today, isn't it?” He rummaged in his jacket pocket and pulled out a handkerchief. In the meantime I took a few steps towards the street. He followed me. It wasn't far from my house to Tokyo Tower. You went from a side street where I lived to a main street, went under a bridge, turned right, crossed the street and crossed a park. That might sound very complicated, but for someone like me it was a breeze. Ace lived a few streets away but was closer to the university.
It took us an estimated 15 minutes to arrive at Tokyo Tower. The elevator for in two floors. On the first floor there were only shops and restaurants. I wondered if we would have dinner here afterwards. The second floor was purely a viewing platform. We drove into the second, it was relatively empty and that surprised me.
From the viewing platform you could see both Mount Fuji by day and the stars by night. I looked at the clock it was 6:20 pm. The sun was still shining and I could see Mount Fuji too. I looked through the window glass, I had always loved this sight. Ace stood next to me. He looked nervous but I didn't want to know why. We stared at Mount Fuji and the platform slowly filled up behind our backs. Then suddenly he turned to me. "So, can you already remember something?" He looked embarrassed and sad at the same time. "No. I can't remember anything," I replied while still looking at Mount Fuji.
Eight years ago my "parents" found me on the street. I was emaciated and hadn't eaten in days. I couldn't remember my family or my origins either. I was ten years old then, and I set out to find out when I was old enough. Now the time had come, I was now 18 and old enough to decide for myself what would become of my life.
I looked at Ace. "I'm going to get out of here. I think tonight will be my last night here." Ace stared at me, then grabbed my arms. "What do you mean by that? You can't go away! You hear me! I need you! And where in the world are you going to go?" "I don't know yet, but it doesn't matter. I want to know who I'm actually you understand? And to find out I have to get out of here! "He let go of my arms and looked at me. He had tears in his eyes; he knew I was serious. "Y-You just can't do that.", He shook his head and put his hands on my face. "Hey, wait! What-" I tried to stop him but couldn't. He kissed me and hugged me. Even though I didn't mean to, I closed my eyes and put my hands on his back. I had felt something for him since I first met him. I just didn't want to admit it. It had been the same with him ... I knew that now.

He broke the kiss and looked at me. I returned his gaze and felt myself blush. "I do love you," he said and also blushed slightly. The blush crept down my face. "Me you, ... me you too" I stared at the floor, the situation was really strange. Then he took my hand and pulled me to the elevator. “Are you hungry?” “Yes a little,” I replied. "Then let's go to the new restaurant that you opened downstairs. It should be very tasty." And he smiled again. It was almost like magic because now I had to smile too.

“That was good!” Ace leaned back in his chair. I was still eating. “Why did you order such a small portion?” He looked at my food crookedly. I swallowed. "I don't eat as much as you do," I replied, sticking my tongue out slightly.
"Yes, that's right.", He said and laughed. He laughed softly, but nevertheless some guests turned to us. Ace looked embarrassed. "Oh .. I was too loud," he whispered. I finished eating and called the waiter. Ace paid. We got up and went back to the elevator. We drove to the first floor and ran home.
"Thanks again for the invitation.", I turned to Ace, we had arrived.
"Don't worry.", He looked to the side. I walked up to him and without knowing what I was doing I kissed him. He returned the kiss and we stayed that way for a while. Then I turned and went into the house. I saw him smile out of the corner of my eye.
