Fanfic: The Prevented Love
Chapter: Rescue from an unusual direction
"Oh menno Kai! Why do we have to train so early again?", Tyson grumbled, as always.
"We are already world champions and besides there is no one stronger than us.", He continued his intoned wailing.
The person addressed threw an annoyed look around the group before he replied, as always, coldly: "First of all, it is now 9.30 am and secondly, you've just got yourself another 2 hours of extra training because of nagging!"
"And besides, you're not quite right.", Ray joined in the conversation, "I saw a girl in the park on the way here yesterday and that was pretty fascinating. So if she got on the right team, she's I think it's almost unbeatable. "
Then the Bladebreakers, spurred on by the Chinese, got down to work in order to be fit for the next competitions. At lunchtime, Kai decided that training was over to give himself and the rest of the team some rest. In the afternoon, the entire team had to do their duty as world champions. In this case it was a visit to the BBA center to attend an amateur tournament. They all went to their rooms in the huge villa that they shared on the outskirts of the city. It had been a suggestion from Mr. Dickinson, but it was only actually implemented for one reason. Namely, Kai saw this as an extremely good opportunity to intensify the already tough training even more.
Only Kai himself stayed in the garden behind the house because, as so often, he wanted to be alone. Only outside of the common abode was it possible for him to enjoy his beloved solitude with this bunch of chaotic people. So the cool Russian decided to stretch his legs in his favorite park. There he could be sure that he could enjoy his rest.
He never had to be afraid of being besieged by wild fans, because most of them had great respect for him. Nobody dared to speak to him like the others or even to approach him and he was right to do so.
But that day it was just kind of weird. As soon as he had reached the park, a girl came running up to him who was acting very strangely. She had tears in her eyes and bumped into him before he could even react. Not that he had hurt himself, nothing seemed to have happened to the girl either. Although she hit the ground pretty hard, she immediately jumped up again and ran on without saying a word.
What happened to her that she was so blown? But he immediately rejected this idea, because he was never really interested in the suffering of other people and so he continued his walk in intimate solitude. But somehow he didn't want to clear his head because he kept thinking about those sad eyes. He quickly realized that the walk no longer made sense. So he went back and then retired to his room. But this project was quickly forgotten. A little way away he saw the girl again and could only see her being hit in the back of the head by an amateur blade. The stranger went down and lay unconscious.
A young boy's blade had been hurled out of a nearby bey arena.
Kai didn't know why, but suddenly he just started walking. He followed this very strong urge to come to her aid, even though that wasn't really his way.
And since it was just beginning to rain and the girl was unconscious, he decided without thinking to take her home and then call a doctor.
The way to the villa took about 25 minutes. When he got there, he immediately went in through the terrace at the back of the house. He really could never have opened the very massive front door with his load alone. The patio door, on the other hand, was almost always open. So this time too.
As soon as he was standing in the living room, Kai heard thousands of questions. That is where the rest of the team, including Hilary and Mariah, had gathered since they had just decided to watch a DVD together.
"Kai, who is that? What happened? Should we call a doctor?" Were just some of the questions. The young Russian did not answer, only asked for a doctor and motioned for the girls to follow him.
He brought the unconscious into his room, put her in his bed and left the still confused girls with the stranger.
