Lia had been walking with the group for a while. Lia found Kagome, who she now knew from modern times, was very nice. Sango and Kirara left too. But she preferred to stay away from Miroku. Shipou was kind of cute. But Inuyasha didn't go at all. Lia walked comfortably next to Kagome and Sango. "Tell me where are you actually from?" asked Sango. "From the east," said Lia. "You met us in the north," said Inuyasha. Now Lia had a problem. "I was just passing through," she lied. "There's something I don't like about you," Inuyasha said and looked at Lia. Lia was getting nervous. "Inuyasha leave Torah alone," Sango defended her new friend. Inuyasha suddenly raised her head. "Inuyasha what's wrong?" asked Kagome in surprise. "I smell blood and that's not a little," Inuyasha answered her. Inuyasha quickly set off. Lia ran after him as fast as possible.

They arrived at a clearing, or at least what was left of it. Lia saw two men covered in blood. "They're probably travelers," said Miroku. "They were travelers," Lia said dryly. Kagome and the others ran towards the men. Lia was shocked when one of them was still moving. "How are you? Wait, I can help you," said Kagome quickly. But the man just put his hand on Kagome's. "is ........ already..good" he said breathlessly. "What happened to you?" Miroku wanted to know. "We..were on a ..... trip" the man paused for a moment. "We were ....... attacked by ... a youkai .....". Lia stays in the background when she heard a tortured yowl. "Do you hear that?" she asked softly. "What do you think?" asked Shippou. "Not that important," said Lia. When she heard another yelp, she left. She followed her instinct. But Lia saw nothing. Suddenly something moved next to her. Lia was shocked and was ready to fight in a flash. But she lowered her fighting stance. What she saw was a wolf. He was hurt. Lia heard a soft whine. Lia wanted to pick him up and take him to Kagome. But the wolf snapped at her.

"Hey, I don't hurt you," Lia said gently and held out her hand. The wolf bit and and not exactly gently. Lia winced briefly, then held out the other hand. The wolf bit harder and growled. Lia stroked the head and said gently "Everything is fine". Slowly the pressure on the hand became less. The wolf slowly relaxed. Lia picked up the wolf as best she could and went to the others. Apparently they had buried the men. "So what is that?" Inuyasha asked. "You don't see a wolf," Lia hissed. "Yes, I can see that, but what do you want with him? And why do I touch your blood?" Inuyasha asked angrily. "It doesn't matter, he's hurt," Lia said. Kagome came up to Lia and looked at the wolf. Kagome pulled out a bandage and tried to reach for the wolf. The wolf wanted to snap at Kagome, and she pulled her hand away in time."You see he's mean," Inuyasha snapped. "If you even touch him you are dead," Lia said coldly. Lia took the bandages and took care of the wolf. "The youkai has already moved on," said Inuasha, eyeing the wolf. Suddenly Lia felt a stab she asked uncertainly "in which direction?". "In the south why?" asked Kagome. "Oh, just like that," Lia said, relieved. "We should follow up quickly," said Sango. The others nodded. "I'm not going anywhere without Yasu," Lia said firmly. "Yasu?" asked the others. Lia nodded and replied "I called the wolf Yasu". "Appropriate name," Inuyasha said sarcastically. "We have to go," said Sango. "Do you really think that Kirara can still carry me and Yasu?" Lia asked uncertainly. "Sure," Sango said and Kirara let out a noise. Lia rose as best she could with Yasu. She held Yasu tightly. In front of her was Sango and behind her Miroku, which wasn't exactly beneficial. Lia felt a drop on her nose. Lia slowly sank into thought. Would Isamu look for her? The rain was getting stronger. She didn't want to go back. She didn't want to marry someone because she didn't love. That required her pride alone.

It has been a while since the group headed south. Sesshomaru entered the clearing and ran in a targeted direction where he smelled blood. "Sesshomaru-sama someone was buried there a short time ago," said Jaken. Sesshomaru looked in the direction where they had disappeared. They've been out all night. Sesshomaru leaned against a tree and closed his eyes. Ah-Uhn lay down and snuggled up against him and fell asleep. Sesshomaru thought about his fiancee. Most of all he would like to shred it. That she even had the audacity to reject him and then to flee. She would receive her sentence as soon as he caught up with her.

"I smell the youkai," Inuyasha yelled. A cattle was already building up in front of the group. The others wipe out as fast as possible. It wobbled a lot and Lia fell down with Yasu. Lia tried to hold Yasu over her. Finally she slammed her back. Lia felt a pain. She got up quickly and stepped in front of Yasu. Inuyasha literally made short work of the youkai. Suddenly Kagome shouted "Inuyasha, I can feel two pieces of jewelery and they are quickly approaching". Lia saw a whirlwind moving quickly towards the group. Shortly afterwards a man stood in front of Kagome. He had long black hair that was tied in a braid. And in armor. And a wolf's tail. "kouga what are you doing here?" Kagome asked, visibly awkward.

Now two other men came running. "He finally stopped," snorted one with a punk-like hairstyle. Suddenly his eyes fell on Lia and Yasu. "But that's it!" he screamed. Lia just got really scared. Kouga went straight up to Lia and Yasu. He apparently wanted to reach for Yasu.With full strength Lia hit Kouga on the hand and growled "Woe to you, Yasu what I'm tearing you apart". Visibly shoved, he first took a step back. Then he caught himself but "He belongs to my pack!" he growled. "Oh, I didn't know," Lia said, concerned. Lia's expression turned sad. "But I didn't mean it that way," he said awkwardly. "He's hurt," Lia said, lifting Yasu up. Kouga quickly walked up to Lia and took Yasu from her. "You call him Yasu?" asked Kouga. "Uh yes," Lia said, embarrassed.
"What happened to Yasu anyway?" asked Lia. Kouag's expression turned angry. "We were attacked by a youkai. It was on a cliff and Yasu fell down fighting." Now Kagome intervened "we'd better strike up our camp," she said to defuse the situation. Everyone nodded and Lia took Kouga ice cold from Yasu again. then she leaned against a tree. Yasu had her on her lap and stroked him. Kouga sat down and watched Lia intensely. Who is she? And why did she save Yasu? He thought.

“Kenshin!” A loud voice echoed through the hall. The man sat impatiently in his chair.
Suddenly someone was in the room. The color of his eyes was a glowing orange. His hair was short but he had two long strands in front that shimmered in a dark brown. There was a finely crafted katana on his back. "What is there Isamu Lord of the North?" He said calmly. "I want you to get someone back for me" said the ice cold. "May I find out when?" said Kenshin. "My daughter," Isamu said angrily. "As you wish," said Kenshin, getting up. He was standing on the roof of the castle in his hand a bird. "I want you to find someone for me," he said calmly. The bird flew off into the endless expanses of the sky. Before Kenshin left, he smiled again.
