All approaching flares ricocheted off her as Akemi raised her arms and small secondary lightning flashes appeared. Now a great, bright lightning flashed through the hall, followed by a pressure wave. Then everything was quiet. "Can I come out?", Aoi asked carefully from her tendril ball. "Yes you can come out!" Akemi confirmed. Before Aoi could get out, however, she jumped lightly to the floor of the hall. Aoi's tendril ball loosens and gently sets it down on the ground. All sources from which the flares had come were destroyed and a lowered monitor indicates: "Training session 8 ended successfully!"Aoi gave Akemi's MC system a careful look. Said the man who heard the voice and came up to her with a couple of clipboards under his arm. The man was the head of the MC project at this school: Mr. Kamikura! He was not only the leader of this project but also the mentor of Team 4 and the only man Akemi knows who had helped with the development of the MC systems. "Your sound wave ability has improved enormously, Reika! We have to work again on the wave technique and Hiromi and Aoi on the speed of the tendrils too! Akemi you were amazingly good as always!" He said to everyone, even if he did when he gave Akemi her board looked a little worried. "Thank you Mr. Kamikura!" They all shouted. "Yes, yes! But the really important thing is yet to come! Reika started screaming while Akemi and Aoi tried to take the envelopes away from Kamikura (Hiromi still looked like a car).
The Magiccolour Olympic fights were competitions where the best magicians japans competed and fought against each other. You could think of it as a big competition where you applied as a group but had to compete alone. Akemi was really excited because only the very best magicians competed there and they should fight there soon! After Kamikura had managed to calm down the girls again, he gave each of them an envelope and asked them to go back to their class as the time-out would not last long.So they did as he said and made their way to the main building. "Should I open mine?" Asked rei-ka excitedly. "Wait! How about we open them all at the same time after school?" Asked Akemi. "Yes, exactly! We all meet after school at Hi-romi and open them there at the same time!" Suggested Aoi (Hiromi was not asked). Reika thought the idea was great and even Hiromi agreed.
So after class they met at Hiromi's and opened the letters. It all ended in a huge pillow fight and eventually they all stayed with Hiromi.
It was a very funny night and yet Akemi got a bad feeling when she thought about this competition for a long time.
